chapter 7.5

When Gu Yuan heard the name Lu Zhiqian, she felt so much hatred in her heart that she had to grit her teeth. It really was him, it really was him.

However, facing the male student, she smiled and nodded: “Oh, so it was him!”

Looking at all the young students who ran into the auditorium with faces that filled with worship and respect, there was an indescribable feeling in her heart.

25 years had passed, and times had changed. Lu Zhiqian had made a name for himself and to be called Teacher Lu by the masses meant his skill also had already been recognized and was revered by everyone.

She sighed and walked to the front of the auditorium. She saw a huge banner and printed on it was the full-length portrait of Lu Zhiqian. Below it was some introduction printed in small letters.

Through the words printed there, Gu Yuan roughly knew that the structure of the film and television media was now very different compared with what she knew last time. Hezong Tianxia Media was currently the largest and most influential media company in the world. It had many television stations, movie theaters, and well-known web portals under its control. It could be seen that it controlled the voice of the media. And Lu Zhiqian was the Film Emperor that became popular under the banner of Hezong Tianxia Media.

Lu Zhiqian was originally a student of Capital Film Academy. During his student years, because of his steadfast loyalty towards his terminally ill girlfriend, his story was published in the newspaper. As a result, his story had emotionally moved a lot of readers and was also given a chance to join a well-known director’s production team. Afterwards, he became well-known around the world with his superb acting skill. He became the Film Emperor to his millions of fans. Lu Zhiqian was now 45 years old but he was still very popular and respected by the people in the entertainment circle.

When Gu Yuan read until the part ‘steadfast loyalty towards his terminally ill girlfriend’, she felt so angry that she wanted to just kick the banner over.

Right, in the beginning he really showered her with a lot of sweet words and stayed by her side. She was also moved by what he had done. But this was only in the beginning!

Afterwards, he brought his girlfriend over to visit her and said that they came on behalf of her(GY) classmates to send her their blessings. They gave her flowers and wished her speedy recovery. She even felt very moved and could even felt the warmth from her classmates.

In the end, after they managed to act out their role as the loyal boyfriend and warm hearted classmate at the hospital, they embraced each other intimately when they stepped out of the hospital.

Gu Yuan’s gaze moved upwards away from those small prints, looking at the 45 years old Lu Zhiqian.

His youth had gone, and crow’s feet had appeared in the corner of his eyes, but he had indeed matured, stabled and became an indisputable international superstar.

Gu Yuan gritted her teeth.

She clenched her fist gently before she decided to go in and look down on this Film Emperor.
