Shorts #3 - The Daily Work Life of the Little Policeman [ Modern ]

The weather today was glorious, the sun was shining brightly and there was not a cloud in sight. Since he was free today, Yuan Luo had been preparing to go down to the police station and check on his wife.

“Officer Bai~” Down the empty corridor came Yuan Luo’s voice, the teasing note reaching its destination far before the person did. Bai Mingzhe was in his office, looking through some documents when this voice pierced through the quietness of the office. In the next second, he raised his head dazedly as his office door was flung open.

If it were not for the fact that the expression on Yuan Luo’s face was a cheery one and not a murderous look, Bai Mingzhe would have thought they had traveled back to the day they first met.

“Officer Bai, I hope you can aid me in conducting an investigation. You need to find out how Yuan Lei sustained these injuries, and find out if this was a murder attempt.”

“Mr. Yuan, if it’s about your younger brother, you should seek Officer Zhou’s assistance. I was only tasked with trivial matters for this case.”

“Officer Bai, I’m begging you… Yuan Lei is my only brother. I am certain of his personality just as I am certain that you can do something about this. It’s just that you don’t want to help me. Can’t you just do me a favor?”

“If that’s the case…Since you put it this way, Mr. Yuan, I’ll help you. However, I will only provide assistance in collecting some information.”

“That’s enough! Thank you so much!”

Back then, Yuan Luo had long since stopped depending on his parents to provide for them. Relying on his own effort to start-up his company, he took it upon himself to look after his little brother, Yuan Lei, who was still in high school. But then, Yuan Luo was hardly a somebody, and most things were out of his control. Seeing this, Bai Mingzhe, saw his sister’s shadow in Yuan Luo.

“Wifey! What are you thinking about?! Earth to Mingzhe!” His thoughts interrupted by Yuan Luo’s voice, Bai Mingzhe calmly raised his eyelids as he glanced at Yuan Luo, saying, “Why are you here?”

Upon hearing this, Yuan Luo’s expression immediately turned to one of aggrievance, wagging his tail he complained, “Zhezhe, could it be that you were hoping not to see me?”

“That’s right, if you come you’ll definitely disrupt my work.” Bai Mingzhe mercilessly replied.

At that very moment, the people outside the office were having a merry time gossiping about this.

“Haizzz, those from the Political Office are truly blessed! Not only can they meet Officer Bai, they even get special treatment!”

“Harrumph, how on earth would CEO Yuan ever consider someone like you!”

“Honestly, I still think Officer Bai looks the most handsome in his police uniform…”

Inside the office, it was a different atmosphere altogether. Yuan Luo was lounging on the sofa, his eyes glued to Bai Mingzhe while the latter read through his documents. Bai Mingzhe’s hair was styled to perfection, there was not a hair out of place, nor were there any missing buttons on his uniform. His entire appearance was neat and impeccable. In the words of his female colleagues at the Political Office, he was a well-dressed gentleman . But, in the words of Yuan Luo, although he looked and appeared respectable, who knew what was ingrained in his soul.

Finally succumbing to the overly heated gaze from Yuan Luo, Bai Mingzhe turned to look at him saying, “Why do you keep staring at me like that?!”

“It’s nothing much…I’m just imagining you without all these obstructive clothes…”

“Yuan Luo! If you wanna stay aroused, go back home now! We’re at the police station right now!” By now Bai Mingzhe’s face was lightly flushed as he continued, “Look at yourself, you spend all your days lazing around and playing games. Do you ever think about turning over a new leaf?! Even the beggar from back then has moved on to selling biscuits by now! What about you, you never change!”

Even after being scolded by Bai Mingzhe, Yuan Luo’s expression remained the same. In fact, the smile on his face might have grown even wider. “My feelings for you have never changed either, Mingzhe…” he said with a lovesick gaze toward Bai Mingzhe. The look in his eyes made Bai Mingzhe shiver with unease, all he could do was to pretend not to have seen it, and continue with his work.

“Can you feel the strength of my love for you?!” Walking over to where Bai Mingzhe was seated, Yuan Luo gently pinched his earlobe.

“Yuan Luo…We’re at the police station right now…” Bai Mingzhe said impatiently.

Yuan Luo continued to massage Bai Mingzhe’s earlobe as he said, “No one will come in, and even if they do it doesn’t matter! I mean, everyone already knows about us right?!”

With all that Yuan Luo was doing, it would have been a miracle if Bai Mingzhe could still focus on his work.

“Since you’re so free, go out and chat with them for a while.” Officer Bai dismissively ordered.

“Zhezhe…how can you personally send away your loving husband? Think about it, as your husband, I’ve been so good to you…I cook for you every day…” Yuan Luo rambled on about all the positive attributes he had, his incessant talking made Bai Mingzhe grasp his forehead in despair, “Yuan Luo.”

“Just give me a kiss.” Yuan Luo said with an arched eyebrow.

“We’re in the…mmm!” Before he could finish speaking, Bai Mingzhe’s mouth was sealed by Yuan Luo’s lips. Soon he could feel the other’s breath, supple yet warm lips pressed onto his face. The slightest hint of cigarette smoke wafted around them as their lips locked in the purest form of possessiveness.

Just as their lips were locked without a care for the outside world, hmm~ someone who lacked foresight really did push open the door and enter.

“Officer Bai, the requested…” The words were swallowed halfway. The visitor was none other than Bai Mingzhe’s assistant, Xiao Huang~

“Get out.” It was not Yuan Luo who said this, but the now completely embarrassed and somewhat mad Police Officer Bai. Yuan Luo merely sent a dark gaze toward the person, his wordless reaction spoke volumes.

They waited for Xiao Huang to frantically put down the documents, his legs scrambling to get him out of there, and he did not forget to close the door as he went. “Yuan! Luo!” Bai Mingzhe felt impossibly angry, whatever image he had as a respectable police officer had now been destroyed by Yuan Luo.

“Weren’t you enjoying it too? I mean it’s not like it’s our first time…” Yuan Luo teased.

“You…” His reply left Bai Mingzhe tongue-tied in exasperation.

– At home, after dinner –

“Officer Bai…Are you not going to shower?” Yuan Luo teased as he looked at Bai Mingzhe who was still in his uniform next to him. They were both on the sofa. Yuan Luo had already eaten but he still felt a trace of hunger.

“You go first.” Bai Mingzhe replied without sparing him a glance.

“Since you’re not going to shower, then I’ll just have to make do!”

Hearing this, Bai Mingzhe’s demeanor immediately became defensive as he looked warily at Yuan Luo. Yuan Luo’s smile was devilish as he explained, “Today’s event will be, uni-form role-play…”

“Yuan Luo, if you keep up with this nonsense of yours, get out!” Bai Mingzhe stood up as he turned to enter their bedroom.

With one stretch of his leg, the unwitting Bai Mingzhe fell prey to Yuan Luo’s attack. Thus, the respectable Police Officer Bai fell straight into the inescapable embrace of Yuan Luo the Thug.

His expression was serious as Bai Mingzhe looked at Yuan Luo, “Yuan Luo, let me go change.”

“I don’t want to let you change! If you do, where’s the fun in that?!” Yuan Luo grinned naughtily.

Alas, in the end, Police Officer Bai surrendered to this despotic sensual power.

His uniform had long since gotten immeasurably creased, now Yuan Luo held Bai Mingzhe’s wrists with one hand, keeping them high above his head. His other hand painstakingly released each button from its buttonhole, the entire process was torturously slow for Bai Mingzhe. His breath was a mess of moans and gasps. His white, fair-skinned face adorned with a sheen of sweat. The rosy glow of his face only further beautified by the coquettish air of his eyes. The initially upstanding and decent appearance of Police Officer Bai had morphed into a delectable visual offering of this little fairy. It was too seductive for a certain someone.

“Y-Yuan Luo…H-hah…Hurry up!”

“Tsk tsk tsk, your clothes aren’t even off yet and you’re already needy? Then how needy will you be later hahh…”

“Stop talking! Q-quick…”

“Tsk. I just adore how you are! Your look of asceticism in that uniform of yours, and when your clothes are off, your entire soul is filled with need and want.”

At long last, under the pleading cries of Bai Mingzhe, Yuan Luo slowly unbuttoned his shirt. Lowering his head, Yuan Luo pressed his lips onto Bai Mingzhe’s lips…

The two bodies tossed and turned…
