Chapter 11

Ling Ling Fa had no idea that the Emperor behind him had so many thoughts in this moment. In the Emperor's eyes, he was already a martyr, a martyr who would be pierced by a barrage of arrows. But was it really so?

Of course not!

The arrows changing direction in mid-air were not something these masked extras could shoot. Clang, clang, all the arrows were nailed to the circular disc in Ling Ling Fa's hand. Ling Xiao looked up and immediately stood up awkwardly from the ground, dusting off the dirt on his knees as if he didn't care, and even forgot that Ling Ling Fa had a magnet, how embarrassing!

The disc in Ling Ling Fa's hand was as big as a washbasin, with the character 'Yang' carved on its surface. At this moment, it was full of arrows. The arrow shafts were made of wood, but the arrowheads were iron, so many of them shattered due to the sheer number and the force of impact. The doctors were so shocked by the broken arrow shafts that their mouths hung open.

The force of the arrows, combined with the magnetic pull, made Ling Ling Fa's arm numb, but the Emperor was right behind him. How could he show fear in front of him!

"Wow! It even sucked away my knife, so powerful!" The Emperor exclaimed excitedly, instantly captivated by the novel magnet and completely forgetting the previous emotional moment.

"Your Majesty flatters me, here, your knife." Ling Ling Fa flatteringly handed over the magnet.

The obvious disregard of the two clearly enraged the assassins. They were professionals, and although they didn't understand what was happening, they wouldn't be affected by these small issues. Since the arrows were useless, they drew their curved swords from their waists with a clank.

Such a commotion naturally drew the attention of everyone. The assassins brandished their curved swords, roaring as they charged forward. With their roars, a wild and bloodthirsty aura enveloped the air, an aura that only seasoned killers could cultivate. If it were ordinary people, they would have been intimidated just by the sight of it. Unfortunately, for doctors, seeing blood was a daily occurrence, so the assassins were doomed.

A few flashes of sword light, a few splashes of blood, a few crisp sounds, and then the assassins all lay on the ground!

"Don't underestimate us doctors, we also wield knives to make a living!" The doctors brandished their swords in a flurry of light on the stage.

"Don't be so angry, have some water, they're all dead!" Ling Ling Fa clapped and laughed. The Emperor was even more excited: "A Fa! Are these doctors the special forces you invited to save me?"

"Why do you say that?"

"Otherwise, why would each doctor carry a knife?"

"Because these assassins are so stupid! Autopsies are the job of the coroners, yet they invited so many doctors. Even if everyone is curious, you turned the autopsy, which should be filled with a research atmosphere, into a market with food and entertainment. How could the doctors not see through such an obvious flaw? So they brought knives for self-defense!" The little girl who had been hiding somewhere suddenly appeared again.

The Emperor's expression instantly wilted. This was the first time someone had bluntly told him, "Stop being so conceited, idiot!"

Ling Xiao saw the Emperor's expression and approached to comfort him: "You can't say the assassins are stupid. Mainly, the doctors' demeanor is too hard to imitate. If they hid among the doctors, they would be more easily exposed, so they had to mix in some acrobats. Sigh! It's not easy to make a living in this world!"

The Emperor felt a bit better, but the little girl was dissatisfied: "Whose side are you on! Why are you speaking for them! Are you in league with the assassins? Otherwise, how could you know them so well!"

Ling Xiao was not moved by the little girl's pouting, and wagged his finger, "You can eat anything, but you can't say anything. We may be familiar, but I'll still sue you for defamation!"

"Defamation? On what grounds? Just because of your face that even a car accident can't fix?" The little girl pouted and put her hands on her hips.

Ling Xiao looked at the little girl with surprise, "My handsome face, which you can't appreciate, shows that your intelligence is not a problem for making friends with pigs."

"You this..." The little girl's words were interrupted by a grating sound, like a knife scraping on glass.

"Who are you, demon!" The doctors, full of righteousness, shouted in unison, clearly irritated by the unpleasant sound.

A white figure slowly descended from the darkness, a tall figure in a white robe with a black ghost mask on his face. Even before he arrived, a strong smell of blood filled the air.

"Hey! The little boss is here!" Ling Xiao, seeing the man's attire, knew he was the fool in the movie who showed his big feet.

"You finally came out! Laughing so seductively, why don't you just die!" This doctor was even more excited than Ling Xiao, and charged forward with his large knife. Ling Xiao tried to stop him, but it was too late. Bang! Just like in the movie, the masked fool kicked the doctor into the air with one foot.

Pfft! The doctor was still in the air when he spat out a mouthful of blood. By the time he hit the fence behind him, he was already dead. In the movie, it had a comedic effect, but in real life, it was terrifying, especially when the inner force emitted from that kick was felt.

"Damn! This fool is so strong! His inner force is so thick, he's probably just one step away from the innate realm!" Ling Xiao exclaimed, and slowly moved to the other side of the Emperor.

The other doctors, seeing someone die, were enraged and charged forward with their knives. To be honest, Ling Xiao was a bit excited, as he was about to see the fool act foolishly.

Then!

Ling Xiao was stunned!

The masked fool, as Ling Xiao had predicted, split into two people, one in black with a white ghost mask, and one in white with a black ghost mask. They wielded their mourning sticks and killed all the doctors who charged forward in just a few moves, and Ling Xiao's original excitement turned into fear.

"Whoa!" Ling Xiao drew in a cold breath, "Shadow clone technique?" The two masked fools were not connected!

Another doctor swung his knife at the white mask. The white mask blocked a few times and found that the doctor's sword skills were quite good. The white mask took advantage of the situation and thrust his chest forward, actually moving towards the blade. The doctor was slightly surprised but did not hesitate. When the blade pierced the white mask's chest, it seemed to pierce into nothingness. The white mask then turned into a cloud of smoke and disappeared, while the black mask used the mourning stick to smash the doctor's head.

The same scene played out repeatedly. To be fair, although the two masked men had deep inner strength, their techniques were not strong, and from Ling Ling Fa's perspective, they were just farmhand skills. The truly troublesome aspect of the masked men was their shadow clone technique. The two could simultaneously block the doctors' attacks, indicating that both were real. However, if one was killed, it would turn into a cloud of smoke and disappear. In the next second, the real one would split into another clone, just like the shadow clone technique!

Ling Xiao was not worried about his own safety; he was confident he could shoot the masked man before he split into a clone. But this was Ling Ling Fa's stage. If Ling Ling Fa couldn't win the Emperor's favor, what good would his own strength be? He looked at Ling Ling Fa with some concern. The big feet that gave away the trick were gone. Could he still tell which one was the real one?
