Gu Xingchuan was elated, before he immediately turned dissatisfied.

He wanted Song Yi to be angry. Yet he didn’t want Song Yi to be angry. However, if he had to choose between the two, he prefered Song Yi to be angry.

Song Yi didn’t realize those subtle emotions of his. He was focused on the colorful gourmet menu instead. “Lemon risotto and mushroom cream soup. What do you both want?”

He stretched out his hand and passed the menu to the boy. The boy quietly peeked at Gu Xingchuan, whose face was darkened to death. He hesitated to take the menu, coughing out a dry laugh. “Sorry, I haven’t seen other friends of Chuan-ge, hence I thought you are…”

“It doesn’t matter.” Song Yi turned his head and smiled lightly. He politely introduced himself, “My surname is Song, and I am also Chuan-ge’s classmate.”

The boy said “ah”, and it suddenly dawned on him. He looked at Song Yi with a weird look and leaned close to Gu Xingchuan. “Isn’t he your rival in love? Didn’t you hate him so much?”

Although there were a lot of people in the restaurant and it was noisy, the boy’s voice was quite loud. Song Yi still heard these words very clearly and stared at Gu Xingchuan with interest.

Gu Xingchuan threw the boy a gloomy look. He gritted his teeth. “Ding Qi, can you stop it with your nonsense? Isn’t food enough to glue your mouth together?”

Ding Qi tactfully closed his mouth. He glanced at Song Yi with inquisitive eyes from time to time, as if wanting to check something with Song Yi.

Song Yi felt this child was rather interesting. He was probably also a child of a wealthy family. Otherwise, he would not be saying whatever he wanted at this age.

Song Yi ate a little before feeling nauseous, and headed straight to the bathroom.

Ding Qi watched his back as he left. He scratched his head. “Chuan-ge, what’s the relationship between you two?”

You could even come out to play together. No matter how one viewed it, they did not act like rivals.

Gu Xingchuan’s face was neither red nor flustered. He steadily replied, “We are together now.”

Ding Qi’s jaw was about to fall down. He “ ai ai ai” for a period as he gaped at Gu Xingchuan. Raising his voice, he praised him, “Chuan-ge is truly powerful, to even play with your love rival.”

Gu Xingchuan kicked him fiercely under the table, causing him to shout in pain.

He ignored Ding Qi and reached out to take Song Yi’s cup to pour more water. He said in a serious tone, “Speak civilly in front of him. He’s so obedient now. He can’t listen to such nonsense.”

Ding Qi rubbed his knees and looked at Gu Xingchuan’s expression; he was as surprised as if he had seen a ghost. “Chuan-ge, what’s actually happening?”

“Exactly what you’re seeing.” Gu Xingchuan was noncommittal.

Ding Qi looked at him up and down, amazed. “When I told you last time that Xiao Fei got married and became a wife slave, you still laughed at him with me. I think once you get married, you’ll be just like Xiao Fei.”

Gu Xingchuan squinted his eyes at him, then smiled disdainfully. “You know a fart. I won’t be like Xiao Fei.”

Ding Qi didn’t believe it. After a few seconds, he suddenly sighed and poked Gu Xingchuan with his elbow. “Your dad won’t want you to find someone from the same circle?”

Gu Xingchuan turned his face and frowned. Though he knew many people, regardless of how he played outside, he would have to find someone in the same circle to marry. Both of them closed their eyes against this – knowing when to play and when to come back and live the proper lives.

He thought about it and lowered his eyes. He countered back, “My dad won’t. He likes Song Yi very much. When I wanted to use the private jet to come out here, he scolded me for not being proper. Yet when he heard Song Yi would join me to play, he immediately agreed with both hands up and told me not to bully him before I left.”

“Your dad actually have such a moment?” Ding Qi stared at him, extremely surprised.

Gu Xingchuan nodded, naturally continuing with, “Because Song Yi is outstanding. Of course anyone would like him.”

Ding Qi smacked his lips and grinned. “He does look rather gorgeous.”

“Fuck you.” Gu Xingchuan took a lemon from the table and threw it towards Ding Qi. He glared at him. “If you look at his face again, I’ll gouge your eyeballs out.”

Ding Qi laughed. “Gu-shao, this time you are so finished.”

Song Yi returned to the dining table, with sweat all over his face. The nausea was too strong, leaving his face deadly pale. He had to dab some water on his face in the bathroom to have some colour.

Gu Xingchuan looked at his listless appearance, and perfunctorily said a few words to Ding Qi, before heading back to the hotel together.

During the day, the decoration of the room was eye-catching and ambiguous, smacking into one’s face. At night, one could only cover their eyes as the soft pink light glittered flirtatiously. Everywhere was filled with indescribable enchantment.

Song Yi went first to take a bath. The four mirror walls caused him to feel embarrassment. He didn’t use the bathtub, only quickly showering his body, wrapping his body tightly and securely in the pajamas before walking out.

Gu Xingchuan was looking at his phone. With a lift of his head, he saw Song Yi’s neck peeking from his pajamas and puffed out laughing. “So afraid of me?”

Song Yi pretended not to hear him. He sat on the side of the bed and solemnly read the newspaper.

As soon as Gu Xingchuan entered the bathroom, there was a thin layer of mist on the mirrors around him. He smelled the damp mint sweetness of the shower gel, icy and light, drifting into his nose, exciting oneself, heating his whole body up.

Gu Xingchuan’s deep and fiery eyes stared back at Song Yi. Song Yi lifted his head up from the newspaper, their gazes intertwining then separating. There was some indescribable eroticism in the atmosphere.

The moment the sound of water in the bathroom started, Song Yi touched his stomach. He tightly shut his eyes, and upon opening them, slapped his cheeks to remind himself to wake up.

This atmosphere was too wrong. In a foreign country, in this kind of hotel, with two people who have had a relationship before, it could easily ignite.

Although they had shared the bed at Song Yi’s house, and Gu Xingchuan sometimes acted excessively, he never crossed the line. Song Yi was not afraid of what he would do.

However, in today’s environment, Song Yi felt a little panicked.

He took a few deep breaths and sat up from the soft water bed. Turning his neck, he noticed the big red obscure rose bedsheet, shrouded behind the veil and blurred under the light. He thought, if he laid on this bed, even if he did nothing at all, with this atmosphere, it was equivalent to inviting Gu Xingchuan to XXX.

This was definitely not possible. Song Yi anxiously pulled out the remote control for the lights from the drawer, wanting to brighten the lights. Yet, it was currently the brightest.

Song Yi paced back and forth, unwillingly giving up. Since he couldn’t lie on the bed, he scanned the room, and found a chair that looked like an office chair, and placed himself in it.

Ever since he was pregnant, he was always very sleepy. Very quickly, he fell asleep leaning against the chair.

In his daze, it seemed as if there were cold rain droplets dripping onto his face. Song Yi slowly opened his eyes and saw Gu Xingchuan’s face close up. Under the inviting warm light, Gu Xingchuan’s hair was half drenched. With those raised eyebrows, handsomely straight nose and chiseled jaw, his pitched-black pupils fixed onto him. His thin lips curled up slightly. “Why are you sleeping here?”

Song Yi wiped the drops of water on his face with the back of his hand. He answered, “A little sleepy. Fell asleep.”

He wanted to sit up, but Gu Xingchuan pushed his shoulders back into the chair. There was something implicit in his tone. “Do you know the function of this chair?”

Song Yi gave a puzzled “huh”? Gu Xingchuan threw out a low laugh. He reached out and pressed an inconspicuous button on the side of the chair arm. Song Yi instantly fell down against the back of the chair; he was laid flat.

The armrests originally on both sides stretched out and opened. Before Song Yi could react, Gu Xingchuan lifted his hands and Song Yi’s calves gently rested on the armrests. He leaned forward, spreading Song Yi’s legs and stood facing Song Yi, looking down at him. “Fun, right?”

Song Yi froze. His face burned hot. Him being in this posture completely surrendered his initiative, very much like the hospital gynecological examination operating table. “Not fun…”

He wanted to sit up, but his calves were hanging in the air, unable to exert force, just as how someone were to slaughter a lamb; this feeling was too uncomfortable.

Gu Xingchuan looked at him being embarrassed and leaned over to his ear. “If it’s not fun, let’s change the game.”

Song Yi turned his head away, avoiding the scorching heat. He steadily said, “Get up, I don’t want to play.”

It was definitely not a good game. Sure enough, Gu Xingchuan stretched out his hand to explore the back of the chair, and pulled out a pair of leather handcuffs. Song Yi’s eyes were dark and he struggled to hide away. Gu Xingchuan suddenly pinched his wrists firmly and handcuffed them tightly. While breathing heavily, he declared, “You have been arrested, and you have the right to remain silent, otherwise everything you say will become evidence in court.”

“…”

Song Yi stared at him ferociously, trying to force Gu Xingchuan back with murderous eyes.

Gu Xingchuan lowered his eyes and looked at him solemnly, “Now answer my first question, were you angry today?”

Song Yi tightened his lips and refused to answer any questions from Gu Xingchuan.

Gu Xingchuan squeezed his chin and warned softly, “Leniency if confessed, and strict punishment if resisted.”

Song Yi was in a bad situation. A hero would not suffer from the immediate loss. Frustrated, he still quickly answered, “No.”

Gu Xingchuan raised his voice in a warning tone, “If one lied, only punishment awaits.”

As soon as he finished speaking, he waved his palm and struck hard a few times. A clear sound vibrated in the air.

Song Yi’s face flushed for a moment. He was treated like a child, leaving his face hot. “I’m not angry, I’m not lying.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

“Since your mouth is so hard, let me help you loosen it a little.”

Gu Xingchuan clamped onto his jaw and kissed him hard. This force was fierce and powerful, like a fire burning out of control.

Song Yi opened his eyes and cursed Gu Xingchuan in his heart. His heart furiously thumped, as if about to burst out of his chest. The kiss lasted for a long time. Unable to breathe, his thoughts gradually became fuzzy. He vaguely saw Gu Xingchuan’s bright eyes. Under the light, he was so much like a wolf, with eyes burning a faint flame.

The cold water droplets from Gu Xingchuan’s semi-dry hair dripped on Song Yi’s hot body, alleviating his dryness like nectar.

Song Yi closed his eyes. The next moment when he opened them again, his eyes were moist with the edges reddish. Under the tempting light, it seemed to be wrapped in unknown precious pigments, glowing as if filled with deadly poison.

Gu Xingchuan increased the distance between the two by a bit; the blue veins on his neck bulged due to the scorching heat. He looked at Song Yi and said hoarsely, “Are you ready to accept the punishment?”

The two moved closer. With Gu Xingchuan only wrapping a bathrobe about him, Song Yi obviously felt Gu Xingchuan’s excitement.

Song Yi couldn’t help being ashamed. He covered his burning face with his hands, chest rising and falling. His Adam’s apple moved agitatedly. “I’m not playing anymore.”

Gu Xingchuan had never seen Song Yi be so shy before. The first two times were during his heat. Halfheartedly push and pull and it was done. This was the first time he saw Song Yi like this. It made his heart itch, leaving his chest crazy and active.

Involuntarily, he gentled his actions

He held Song Yi’s hand and kissed him softly on the cheek, coaxing with a hoarse voice, “Baby, give yourself to me.”

Song Yi was extremely embarrassed, biting his lower lip, but his nature couldn’t restrain it. He could perceive the changes in his body, and he could do nothing.

Anyways… since he was already like this, damn it. Life was too short. Just Carpe Diem.
