Seeing Mr Shao come over, Wen Zicheng was still saying to him something like, “His gaze towards you is obviously so gentle”, “I don’t believe that he isn’t your boyfriend”, “I feel like if he comes over and lowers his head, he will give you a kiss”, Yu Lan’s eyes once again circled like mosquito coils.

“…Store manager! Don’t say anymore!” Yu Lan blushed and said in a low voice.

Noticing that the approaching man’s eyes glanced around his hand holding Yu Lan’s hand, Wen Zicheng retracted his paws with an innocent look.

Look, he’s even jealous of an omega!

Yu Lan’s head was steaming and when Mr Shao approached, he habitually lowered his head and secretly gave Wen Zicheng a look that was quite accusatory.

Shao Mingyu calmly looked at the two people next to him. Wen Zicheng jumped into his boyfriend’s arms, waved and smiled at Shao Mingyu. “Hello, I’m Wen Zicheng, the manager of this store, and this is my boyfriend.”

Shao Mingyu nodded and smiled. “Hello.”

“Then Ah Lan, I’m leaving with my boyfriend first. You-”

“Goodbye store manager, be careful on the way!” For the first time, Yu Lan cut someone off. He looked up and waved his hand.

“You child.” Wen Zicheng made a face at him, gave Shao Mingyu a meaningful look and left with a smile.

Then Yu Lan looked back at the man and embarrassedly lowered his head. “Mr Shao, how come you’re here…”

“Remember what I said yesterday?” The man looked at him, smiled and asked, his long hand reaching out.

When his fingertip was about to touch his chin, Yu Lan recalled, his heart jumped and he raised his head with a swish.

His deep blue eyes had a warm glow floating within under the light of the streetlamp. He was startled and had a blush of shame.

Shao Mingyu laughed.

“Mr Shao…” Yu Lan’s tone was a little depressed.

It was like he was bullying him.

Shao Mingyu narrowed his eyes.

He really was a little drunk.

His hand turned to touch Yu Lan’s head and his voice was low, “I had a meal with a client, saw the time was about right and stopped by to pick you up. Let’s go.”

With a car to ride, the bicycle was not needed, so naturally, it was stuffed into the trunk.

After that encounter on the spaceship, this was the second time Yu Lan saw Assistant Lin and he politely greeted him.

Lin Yu responded with a smile. If you looked closely, you could see his lips tremble slightly.

After hearing the boss’s phone call on the way, he was so excited that he was still swiping barrage internally. He had been wondering if his boss had succeeded, but no matter how he thought about it, it was unlikely that there would be someone his boss couldn’t win over. In the backseat of the car, Shao Mingyu said, “No, the company has some drivers who specialise in nighttime transportation. I will arrange one for you.”

“You’re still so polite today?” Shao Mingyu looked at him with warm eyes.

When Yu Lan talked about the taste the cup of milk tea that he mixed and that the store manager made were actually a little different, the man who had been watching and listening to him reached over and caressed his cheek.

There were no lights on inside the car. Only the receding streetlights on the street outside left a momentary glow.

At that moment, dark blue was against pitch black. Two pairs of eyes looked at each other at close range, capturing the glimmer of light.

The car suddenly became very quiet.

Lin Yu in the front seat took a look in the rearview mirror: What’s going on! What’s happening! Why are my eyes suddenly not working!

“M-Mr Shao…” Yu Lan’s heart was pounding.

“Ah Lan.” The man’s voice was low and a little hoarse. “If you keep going on, I’m going to be jealous of that milk tea store.”

“What-” Yu Lan was confused. The tension instantly dissipated and he lightly laughed and said, “Mr Shao, what are you talking about?”

He thought of something and leaned closer to get a closer look. “Are you drunk?”

The man moved his hand to Yu Lan’s head, just as he had done before.

But it was a little different.

The man’s palm rested on the back of his head, and for a moment, Yu Lan felt something that was both gentle and a little strong.

This feeling made Yu Lan shudder a bit.

The man whispered, “Talking about the milk tea store with such enthusiasm will make me jealous, Ah Lan.”

“M-Mr Shao…” Yu Lan felt the man gently rubbing the back of his head, and a little numbness spread down his spine.

“You’re right.” The man lowered his head and closed his eyes.

Yu Lan opened his eyes wide and didn’t dare to move a muscle. He held his breath unconsciously.

And the man leaned against his forehead, rubbed against it gently, and murmured, “I am a little drunk.”

Their breaths mingled together.

The tip of Yu Lan’s nose had the man’s woody fragrance. Light, yet intoxicating.

After only two seconds, the man backed away, slowly leaning back into the back of the chair, and rubbed the corners of his eyes as if he were not quite drunk.

The black hair on Yu Lan’s forehead was a little messed up.

He blankly looked at the man, a pair of blue eyes filled with confusion, disorientation, and undispelled love.

Unfortunately, the man closed his eyes and did not see it.

Yu Lan’s Adam’s apple rolled down.

His glands itched again.

He reached out and scratched it, but realised that his hands were hot and sweaty.

He subconsciously looked again at the man beside him, who, after rubbing his eyes, glanced at the building ahead and suddenly said, “Lin Yu, stop at the front there.”

“W-What? Where?” Lin Yu almost bit his tongue.

After the boss finished saying “I’m a little drunk” and he desperately sniffed to see if there was going to be some kind of pheromone showdown in the car. Yu Lan looked at it, reluctantly and obediently put it in his mouth. He tasted it, it was grape flavour!

He blinked.

The man pinched his cheek and warmly said, “Little grape.”
