Yu Lan knew that this heat was different from usual. Shao Mingyu also knew.
In response to biting Yu Lan’s gland and injecting his own pheromones, Shao Mingyu’s body tightened. He clenched his fists, the blue veins on the back of his hands bulged.
Yu Lan’s hands rested on the back of the front seat. He wanted to grab at Shao Mingyu but couldn’t. Mister Shao’s pheromones kept pouring into his body and he wanted more.
Yu Lan felt like he had fallen into a desert before and Shao Mingyu was the rain, bringing him back to life.
Inside the car, two scents of pheromone were entangled together. Shao Mingyu’s throat was a little dry. Yu Lan’s sweet grape aroma made him thirsty.
Yu Lan called, “Mister Shao,” unconsciously and Shao Mingyu tightened his arms. His hold on Yu Lan was a little bit painful but the omega didn’t care at all.
Many flashbacks appeared before Yu Lan’s eyes.
The moment he ran in the spaceship and crashed into Shao Mingyu’s arms.
When he was looking forward to his future but was anxious, Shao Mingyu said, “Follow me back home.”
Under the grape vines, Shao Mingyu handed him a grape.
That morning, Shao Mingyu said, “If you want, you can live in this manor forever.”

So many memories…
The love in Yu Lan’s heart couldn’t be contained. His soul had been crushed by the world and Shao Mingyu had gently pieced it back together, reshaping it again.
This time, the process for the temporary mark was extremely long. At the end, Yu Lan leaned on the front seat, panting. Shao Mingyu leaned against his back. They had gone through a fierce entanglement and both of them were a little bit overwhelmed.
After a while, Shao Mingyu said, “Your gland is very red.”
“It’s always itchy…” Yu Lan said softly with a nasal sound.
“It should be because of your use of the inhibitor last time,” Shao Mingyu frowned, “A-Lan, no matter what the reason, I can’t stop listening to the doctor about it.”
Yu Lan sniffed: “But…”
Shao Mingyu hugged him. Leaning back, Yu Lan turned to sit sideways in his arms. Shao Mingyu paused and said in a low voice, “Don’t cry.”
His slender fingers touched under Yu Lan’s blue eyes and all he felt was tears. Yu Lan cried like this for the first time, a little dumbfounded.
He sat in Shao Mingyu’s gentle arms, still feeling unrecovered from before. He couldn’t control the tears that fell.
Shao Mingyu: “…” He was a bit awkward and unsure. He had caused Yu Lan to cry and felt distressed. But he didn’t know what to do so he could only softly hold Yu Lan in his arms.
The bodyguards finished handling the affairs in the club and came outside. They had helped out the colleague who had escorted Yu Lan at the beginning, the one who had been dragged away after a few punches. They saw the black car still parked near the door.
One bodyguard asked in confusion, “Mister Shao hasn’t left yet?”
The driver, who was smoking a cigarette, shook his head.
Immediately, everyone looked towards the car. What are they doing after such a long time? The car wasn’t waiting for them, right? Hmm…the bodyguards looked closely and…saw the car start to shake??
After a while, the window of the car was rolled down and Shao Mingyu said to them, “Let’s go.” The bodyguards looked at the little omega who was looking embarrassed in the arms of the boss.
Yu Lan noticed the bodyguard driver who sent him outside. He sat up straight, leaned forward and said tearfully, “Are you okay..?”
Damn, his eyes were red and his voice was tender. It was a bit pitiable! The bodyguards got excited.
The bodyguard he addressed said, “I’m fine! Don’t worry, Mister Yu.”
“Sorry, I caused you trouble…” Yu Lan said softly.
The bodyguard took a deep breath and his heart melted.
Shao Mingyu pulled Yu Lan back and said to them, “Thanks for your hard work today. Just in case, we should go to the hospital for a checkup. I will take a few days off before going back to work.”
“Okay, Mister Shao!”
When the car was turned on, Yu Lan stubbornly drew back from Shao Mingyu again.
Shao Mingyu sighed and kept rubbing the young man’s head gently. He said softly, “I promise I will never be mean like that again in the future. Don’t be sad, okay?”
Yu Lan pursed his lips and nodded but didn’t say a word.
Shao Mingyu: “…” It was so hard to get his little baby to talk to him.
Yu Lan was actually feeling a little uncomfortable. And when they finally got home, he knew what was going on.
His heat had not completely ended!
As soon as Shao Mingyu helped him out of the car, he noticed that something was wrong. Before he could greet Uncle Liu and Auntie Jiang, he rushed past them, letting Shao Mingyu support him back to his room.
Yu Lan lay on the soft bed, his pheromones overflowing crazily and he groaned in pain. Shao Mingyu frowned and draped over Yu Lan’s back, making a temporary mark once again.
That night was destined to not be peaceful. Every one or two hours, Yu Lan would have an estrus attack, his body covered in sweat. Looking at him like this, Shao Mingyu frowned in concern.
After contacting the doctor, the doctor said that Yu Lan could only pass his heat in this way. In this situation, relying on any medication would only make things worse. They could only prepare themselves for a long, restless night.
Yu Lan struggled all night in torment, never leaving Shao Mingyu’s arms. He couldn’t stop crying and he was always kicking the quilt away. Shao Mingyu spoke softly to him, caressing his hair and kissing his forehead.
The gland on the back of Yu Lan’s neck was bitten again and again. Shao Mingyu’s pheromones were continuously injected into his body. Everything felt so chaotic.
Yu Lan felt like a leaf, floating away and constantly spinning through the air. He was panicked and dizzy but one hand was always clasped and held tightly. He received the most gentle comfort and protection.
Time passed. Yu Lan slowly felt his body become peaceful.
He opened his eyes wearily.
He could see the door to the balcony was half open, the low light of the morning sun shone in and the curtains were gently moving in the wind. Shao Mingyu leaned on the balcony railing, smoking.
Mister Shao…
Surrounded by Shao Mingyu’s scent, Yu Lan fell into drowsiness. He dreamed.
In his dream, he saw the back of a woman. He was half a step behind the woman and she was holding his hand. A gust of wind lifted the hem of the woman’s skirt and almost blew the hat off her head.
She shrank her neck and quickly pressed the straw hat on top of her head, while Yu Lan giggled. Hearing his laughter, the woman turned her head and looked down at him. Her face was blurry. However, under the sun, he could feel that the woman was also smiling.
Yu Lan also heard a young male voice. Although young, the boy still sounded older than Dream Yu Lan.
The boy said seriously, “Just press this way and the entire aircraft system will collapse. This is a bug of the old aircraft. Now there is no such problem in the aircraft on the market.”
Yu Lan seemed to understand, he sighed and said, “Brother, you are amazing!”
The other boy laughed and rubbed his head, “Do you understand?”
“Understood!” Yu Lan said positively. He then glanced at the control panel and said enthusiastically, “I’ll remember!”
Yu Lan woke up disoriented. Where was he? When his head cleared, he realized…he was in Mister Shao’s room!
He sat up abruptly, his body feeling weak. There was a faint trace of Shao Mingyu’s scent remaining in the room but the man was not there. Yu Lan was lying on the bed alone.
Yu Lan was confused for a long time before he remembered what happened last night. He stretched out his hand to touch the back of his neck and was startled. The back of the neck is a little swollen!
Ah… that made sense. After all, Mister Shao had bitten him so many times last night. Even though he didn’t bite hard, it had gone on all night. Yu Lan didn’t know whether he should be ashamed or excited for a while.
Undecided, he got out of bed. When had he changed into his pajamas? Yu Lan blushed. Anyway, he didn’t change clothes by himself…Last night he didn’t have enough energy…
He went back to his room to wash and dress for the day and then went downstairs. Yu Lan cautiously looked in the living room but didn’t see Shao Mingyu.
Uncle Liu happened to pass by and saw Yu Lan. The look in his eyes was complicated and he said, “Did you just wake up?”
“Ah…Uh…” Yu Lan nodded, “…Where is Mister Shao?”
“He didn’t go to work, he should be in the garden.” Uncle Liu waved Yu Lan closer and gave him a box containing ointment. “Mister Shao said to rub this on the back of your neck as soon as you wake up.”
Yu Lan took the ointment and said with a flushed face: “Okay, thank you.”
Uncle Liu said, “What do you want to have for lunch ?” It was already noon.
Yu Lan hesitated and said, “Wait a minute, I, I will go find Mister Shao.”
He walked out of the villa and into the bright sunlight. Yu Lan squinted his eyes, in a daze, as if returning once again to his early morning dream. In fact, this was not the first time he had that dream.
It was strange. He’d never seen the faces of the two people in the dream. But even after waking up from the dream, Yu Lan vaguely felt that the two people were very familiar to him.
He was deep in thought as he slowly walked into the woods. Eventually, he saw Shao Mingyu standing next to the grape vines. There was a handmade swing near the vines, seemingly neglected. Yu Lan occasionally took a break here when he walked Little Mars.
At this moment, Shao Mingyu was sitting there. The shepherd dog squatted beside the man and he lowered his eyes and rubbed Little Mars’ head.
Sensing Yu Lan, Shao Mingyu turned his head. Those quiet and gentle black eyes made Yu Lan’s heart beat fast.
After a second of silence, Shao Mingyu said, “Just woke up? Have you had lunch?”
“Not yet…” Yu Lan walked over. Shao Mingyu had been by his side all night, helping and coaxing the omega. Yu Lan didn’t know what else to say after finding him. He just knew he wanted to see Shao Mingyu as soon as possible.
Shao Mingyu didn’t say anything, moving to one side of the swing and patting the seat next to him. Yu Lan sat down obediently.
He glanced at Yu Lan’s nape and frowned, “The medicine hasn’t been applied yet?”
“Yeah…” Yu Lan turned his head and looked at Shao Mingyu. He felt like he was in a trance as he muttered, “Brother…”
Shao Mingyu paused, releasing a surprised breath out. He stared at Yu Lan’s blue eyes, his throat tight, “What did you call me?”
