**52. What Happened After That**

"Hey."

Straddling the chair, Enterprise looked at the white lines on the screen with a disgruntled expression and took a bite of the ice cream in her hand, speaking indistinctly.

"That Deep Sea definitely has something wrong with her, right? Definitely. Her expression and actions are definitely suspicious, right? It feels like she's brewing some kind of conspiracy. After all, she's a Deep Sea. How could the Deep Sea Fleet have good intentions?"

"Even if you repeat it so many times, the meaning doesn't really change, Enterprise."

And every time you come, you say the same thing. Isn't it annoying?

With a long strip of seaweed in her mouth, 001, wearing a white lab coat and hands in her pockets, shrugged indifferently. Her face was full of nonchalance.

"A woman with a surge of jealousy will have a fierce expression. That look of gnashing teeth but not daring to speak is truly pitiful. If this continues, that rare face will turn into a monster, right? Although your appearance is just that of a little girl."

"At least call me a lolita, a lolita. You useless waste of a scientist."

Glaring fiercely at the equally petite 001, Enterprise watched the Northern Deep Sea fade from the screen, her face taking on a serious expression.

"To be honest, if this continues, it will really be dangerous. I don't have the confidence to use 'Storm' against someone like her. Even if she is a Deep Sea, destroying someone you know is a very unpleasant thing. I don't want to experience that feeling."

"You mean you want to pass it off to us?"

Chewing on the seaweed in her mouth, 001 leaned back in the chair, looking at the rusted ceiling.

"Don't treat us in the logistics department as heartless robots, you battle group bastard. When I saw her covered in blood and still wanting to see the Admiral, I already raised my hands in surrender."

"How could anyone stop her? She doesn't even understand jokes, acting so stubborn. Her brain probably doesn't contain anything except the Admiral. This kind of emotion is much stronger than yours, and her barrier is much denser. Don't you feel like your character attributes are being weakened? You're just a simple, strong, blonde twin-tailed idiot, completely useless."

"Shut up, you BITCH. You're not much better yourself, putting on this act for who? That Deep Sea doesn't matter, right? It's impossible anyway. One side is human, the other is Deep Sea. The greater threat is definitely the Sea Tiger and Sara, right?"

"Impossible? Who knows."

001 leaned back in the chair with a relaxed expression, looking at Enterprise's gradually darkening face with a smile. After a while, she waved her hand and laughed maliciously.

"Alright, I don't want to get involved in your group's affairs. Compared to your moth-to-the-flame behavior, I think it's better to rationally handle your emotions. Wash your face, think carefully about these things."

Chewing on the seaweed, 001 swallowed it and calmly said to Enterprise.

"Calmly analyze your situation, compare the success rate of these emotions. Finally, put your feelings aside and do what you should do. Isn't that better?"

"If emotions could be put aside so easily, then it would be more valuable to be a deadbeat."

"I think people who can calmly control their emotions are better..."

While saying she wouldn't back down, 001's tone had already dropped. She seemed to be thinking of something. Looking at the precious image of the Northern Deep Sea on the monitor, a look of confusion appeared on the girl's face.

"The current base is like a volcano. Why do everyone have such extreme and irrational thoughts? I can't understand at all."

"The stability of our base is like sitting on explosives. Every time a new person comes, every time that Northern Deep Sea comes here, it's like an attempt to ignite. If there's the slightest problem, or a retreat in action, it will completely end this battle. I don't understand the meaning of your actions at all."

"Can't we all just get along? Can't we live happily? Competing for superiority is meaningless. Internal conflicts are already enough. Can't we unite to fight the enemy? I don't understand at all."

"...Hey."

Enterprise finished her ice cream cone and suddenly asked 001.

"001, you are a Chinese ship, right? From the later first industrial nation."

"Yeah, that's right. What's up?"

"I just want to say something."

The blonde twin-tailed girl stood up from the chair, stretching. Her azure eyes stared intently at the somewhat bewildered 001, her sapphire-like eyes burning with a determination that could not be extinguished.

"Maybe it's a cultural difference, but I can't understand your Chinese ships' ideas of polygamy, unity, and tolerance."

Enterprise spoke slowly, her gaze becoming more intense.

"Similarly, I can't understand the Japanese ships' hypocrisy, their extreme and refined, utterly fake behavior. Of course, I can't even mention the completely polarized Slavic ships. Even Montana, with her devout demeanor, I find very distasteful. In fact, I personally very, very, very much dislike that."

"Why should I share my lover with others? Why should I share my love with others? Impossible! I won't do it! I like the Admiral, I like that person, and I can say it openly, I like him. But precisely because of that, I don't want to share."

"What big picture, what harmony, what sharing, I don't understand. I only know that if I have to share the person I love, my life will be meaningless."

"So in this war, I will not lose."

In the dim yellow light of the basement, standing on the chair, Enterprise's face was filled with determination.

"The one who will win is only me."
