Chapter 3: Blue Moon Apartment, Encounter with the Campus Beauty

In fact, there wasn't much to tidy up in the clinic. Shen Tianyi usually slept on the broken sofa in the diagnosis room. As for blankets and such, well, it seemed that regardless of the season, Shen Tianyi only had a thin space blanket. It wasn't that he couldn't afford more; he simply didn't need them.

Shen Tianyi knew his body better than anyone else. Whether it was freezing cold or scorching hot, he never had any abnormal reactions. His body always remained warm, as if it were always in spring.

This had something to do with his little secret.

After packing a few clothes, Shen Tianyi rolled up the space blanket into a small bundle. With a hint of helplessness on his lips, he left his clinic. Before leaving, he carefully adjusted the clinic's operating hours: starting tomorrow, he would only be available on weekends.

He knew it would be difficult to earn money after school with Ye Lengxin watching over him.

After leaving, Shen Tianyi didn't walk out of Nantang Street but hailed a taxi to go to Ye Lengxin's place.

A blue taxi stopped at his feet as he waved it down. The driver, a young man in his twenties, smiled and poked his head out. "Hey, Doctor Shen, where are you going? I'll take you for free. You treated the knife wound on my leg last time. If it weren't for you, I might have lost my leg!"

Seeing the young man with five ear piercings on his left ear, Shen Tianyi was taken aback. He hadn't expected such a coincidence. This young man seemed to be a member of the Qingfeng Gang, and he had recently treated his severe leg injury. So, they weren't strangers.

"Ha ha, it's you. Saving lives is a doctor's duty, so I can't let you take me for free! I'm going to 120 Jinling Road, Blue Moon Apartment," Shen Tianyi said with a smile as he got into the car.

"Ha ha, we in the underworld are straightforward. Since I said it's free, don't be polite, or you'll be looking down on us. We're just gangsters," the young man said as he started the car and drove towards Jinling Road. Shen Tianyi felt quite helpless; giving money would be seen as looking down on them. These gangsters were indeed strange, but the young man's words made him feel good.

They chatted along the way, and soon the car arrived at Jinling Road.

"Brother, that's Blue Moon Apartment up ahead," the young man said, turning his head and grinning at Shen Tianyi.

"Ha ha, thanks," Shen Tianyi said with a smile, looking at the blue-toned apartment complex. He felt a strange tension in his heart. Living with a teacher wasn't going to be easy. He was sure the news had already reached the ears of those girls. He wondered if they would come to question him tomorrow.

"Brother, looking at your stuff, are you moving?" The car stopped in front of the blue apartment, and as Shen Tianyi got out, the young man, with a dragon tattoo on his arm, leaned on the window and asked casually.

"Um, I'm moving in with a friend," Shen Tianyi replied without suspicion.

"Girlfriend?" The young man's face showed a mischievous look.

"Um, no, just a friend," Shen Tianyi blushed, then closed the car door for the young man without paying. If he paid, it would seem like he was being pretentious. He waved and said, "Brother, thanks. See you!"

"He he, bye!" the young man replied.

Shen Tianyi then shouldered his small bundle and walked into the Blue Moon Apartment, registering at the security desk before entering the building.

The blue taxi remained parked in front of the apartment. As Shen Tianyi disappeared from sight, the young man took out a phone from his back pocket and dialed a number, waiting for a response.

"Fenglong, what's up?" a clear female voice came from the phone.

"Sister Three, Doctor Shen moved out of Nantang Street today," Fenglong said into the phone.

"Moved out? Where to? Tell me everything you know! If you leave out a single detail, I'll kick your ass!" the clear female voice said, sounding quite irritable.

"Um..." Fenglong broke out in a cold sweat, thinking, Sister Three's tasks are really tough. I have to work hard and watch out for Brother Two...

After some thought, Fenglong cautiously replied, "Doctor Shen moved into Blue Moon Apartment. I don't know the exact building number, but it seems he's living with a woman." He remembered Shen Tianyi's blushing face and made a guess.

"What? A woman! Is this kid tired of living? He touched my Big Sister and now he's looking for other women? Find out his exact address and report back to me as soon as possible!"

"Beep beep beep..."

As the clear, angry female voice fell silent, Fenglong's phone beeped, indicating the call had been hung up.

"Doctor Shen, it's not that I'm betraying you, but Sister Three is just too fierce!" Fenglong muttered, sweating, then parked the car by the roadside and got out, heading towards the security desk...

After entering Blue Moon Apartment, Shen Tianyi followed the text message Ye Lengxin sent after school to find Building 7, Room 304.

The complex wasn't large, so Building 7, Room 304 was easy to find. Soon, Shen Tianyi, with his small bundle on his back, arrived at the building. Just as he was about to enter the hallway, a green figure came down the stairs.

"Shen Tianyi!"

The green figure, upon seeing Shen Tianyi with his bundle, was first taken aback, then called out in surprise.

Shen Tianyi sighed inwardly and pushed up his glasses, thinking, Why is this girl also living in Blue Moon Apartment?

"Xiao Jiaoyao, what a coincidence!" Shen Tianyi smiled at the green figure. He couldn't look gloomy when meeting an alumnus!

"Ha ha, what a coincidence? I live upstairs!" Xiao Jiaoyao rolled her eyes at Shen Tianyi, then covered her mouth and laughed lightly, looking as cheerful and cute as a lark.

Xiao Jiaoyao was one of the top ten campus beauties at Huari University, currently a freshman. She was Shen Tianyi's junior and also studied medicine. However, she wasn't one of the girls rumored to have written love letters to Shen Tianyi.

"Oh!" Shen Tianyi smiled in response. He had met Xiao Jiaoyao at the welcome party in September last year, and they had interacted a few times since then, so they weren't strangers.

"What's that?" Xiao Jiaoyao pointed at the bundle on Shen Tianyi's back with a smile.

Shen Tianyi's face turned bitter as he stammered, "I... I'm moving in with my teacher..."

"Ah?" Xiao Jiaoyao's eyes widened in shock, and she let out a high-pitched scream. She naturally knew that Shen Tianyi's teacher in Building 7 was Ye Lengxin!
