“… Noah Olipiage! You are hereby exiled from this house!”
So this man standing here was my father, Seto Olipiage, the Duke of the Kingdom of Oracle, who shouted at me.
I was his child … the eldest son of the Duke of Olipiage, and would normally take over this house in the future … that should have been the case if everything was normal.
And yet, my dad sentenced me to be expelled from our house.
From an objective point of view, this is a terrible story, and it can be said that there is almost no way to live once the aristocrats are evicted from their Nobel house in the Kingdom of Oracle.
In this nation, aristocratic houses are so highly respected that they often receive what is called a blessing from the gods themselves, so being expelled from one’s own house is often a noble without a god’s blessing. This is because they are considered not capable or lucky enough to receive a blessing from God .
I’ve even heard that some ex-nobles even die after being expelled … well, they are usually hated by the other nobles , and there are many other reasons. But….
Anyway, even if there are no disturbances from your former house or other nobles, there are few ways to work to get food on the table from the start, and it is difficult for a former noble born in a life of luxury and commoner to live a life of a frugal commoner.
That’s why there’s almost no eviction from the aristocratic family … but my dad still told me this .
I’m trying to figure out what this order really means.
“Well, respected dad … if I do that, I’ll die! Please reconsider … give me a chance! What the hell wrong did I do !?”
I try to speak in as if I’m desperate to save my life.
There is no other way to do it.
All noble know that we can’t live without the support of our house , even if it’s unlikely this plea will work, but of there is even slight chance this will work.
Like that I tried to plea .
But my father says.
“… I was expecting much from you. I’m sure you were good at your studies and Nobel responsibilities from a young age …”
“So, then …”
“But you know. In this country, I can’t allow you to stay any longer at our house…….beacause you are named as an apostate by the Astral Church.”
[TL: Apostate means like heretic or traitor]
“……Well, that was……”

The other day, I was recognized as an “Apostate” by the Apostal Church, the state theology of this nation.
[TL: Theology= Religion]
That was precisely what my father meant.
Of course, I haven’t done anything wrong to be precise.
The Astral Church has existed since the founding of the Kingdom of Oracle and is an institution that supports the kingship, but at the same time, it is a terrifying entity and is also known as an aggressive group that does not forgive any apostates.
It is said that the armed forces that they have, such as the Order of the Holy Knights, It is said on the path from which they pass not even the grass will grow on it, and if they are sent to Noah’shouse, Olipiage which is a great aristocrat house which acts as the backbone of this country. Even the Duke’s family will not be safe from the holy order of the Astral Church.
It is impossible for me to live at our house as the things stand, let alone to make me a successor to our house, who is the root cause that is almost certain to bring harm and downfall to my noble house.
Somewhere in my heart I also know that too.
I know … but that didn’t mean I could do anything else other than to complain to my dad.
I’ve studied various subjects and trained a lot to become a Duke since I was little.
They will surely be useful knowledge even if you go to somewhere else .
However, even though I have received a high degree of education, I am just a mediocre person with average grades in every subject.
My dad said he was excellent student , but in reality his grades we’re generally all mediocre.
If I were a hero with the power of the century that excel in all areas , I might be able to manage to get rid of this house or get rid of the church’s army.
But I know that there is no such power dwelling within me .
So I want to stay here even if I cling to my dad’s leg for it.
And I want my father to somehow convince the Astral Church and, at worst, put me in confinement which is better than being killed by them.
I tried to express such a pitiful feeling, but anyone can understand that my father is not willing to do even that.
However…….
“… I don’t mean it. But Noah. Think about me. I would be able to survive . But your mother Lean and your brother Zeldo …. I can’t let the whole clan be sacrificed to save an apostast from the Astral Church . I can’t protect all of them alone because you also know how terrible and powerful an organisation the church is … It seems ruthless, but if I should just expel you alone.
“… Father … No, I’m sorry. I … It was own fault …”
Originally, I knew more about that more than anyone else .
I just kneaded it a little bit until it was clearly spoken.
In addition, this is also a necessary complaining .
My father is not a bad person with this treatment .
Rather, it was kind to me.
The same is true for mothers and younger brothers.
And yet, the reason I don’t have a mother and a younger brother here when such an important talk is going on is because they will definitely be taking my side.
My father also knows that well.
That’s why I’m probably trapped in this room.
I didn’t want to blame him.
I blame him … because it’s not fair.
If they ask him, my father may choose a path that confronts the country, even if that means being cut off his from his own house.
Because my father and I know that …
In other words, it can be said that this discussion was a ritual whose ending al was already decided in the middle of the conversation.
It was just a play to show the chamberlains and maidens watching a stupid son of a noble kneeling pleading to his father for his life.
So to spread the words their mouths that the duke. completely stupid son have nothing to do with his house.
It would be a good story if my father showed some kindness and, at the end, I showed a little extraordinary appearance of being grateful , as it would be easy for people to accept.
At the end of such a series of performances, my dad declared to me once again.
The voice was exhausted, but strong enough to reach the ears of all the people present in the room.
“Noah Olipiage … No, you’re just Noah from now on. Outside the house … there are wild territories, so as my mercy to someone who shares my own blood , I’ll send you to a place where there’s no danger … It’s the last gidy I can give you . You can also go anywhere . I’ll tell the church about that too. “
In other words, I’m banished and I don’t know where I will go.
He intends to insist on the church that what happens to me is irrelevant to the house.
I hope he will at least show that much disobedience .
That was enough for .
As the church was such a terrifying existence .
So I nodded, and said just one line ,
“… Thank you for your help.”
I could say just that.
