She grabbed me by the arm and cried out to me, so I reluctantly showed her my status.

Ouka raised her voice in surprise. No way …… my level, too low?

“”This, this isn’t an E-grade level! It could be an A-grade!”

“Yeah, I know.”

I knew.

I saw a B-ranked adventurer in the guild before, so I peeked at his status, but his level was around 30.

“How come master is E-grade?”

“Um..”

I take a small knife from the item box and cut my own thumb lightly.

“Ouka, give me your hand.”

“Yeah, yeah. Do you remember what the contract said?”

“Yes.”

Facing Ouka, I put my left hand out in front of me.

“I swear to Mithras, the god of love and friends, that I hereby desire a new bond.”

“…… Master’s numbers have increased.”

“Slaves don’t change after all, do they? And this is why I’m a loner.”

We checked each other’s necks and then I opened my status again.

The status of the level you’ve gained doesn’t lie.

But it’s the [Bonds-list] who’s ruining it.

That being said, I’m going to lose my status when I use the [Bonds-list].

Why my status is going down. It’s probably because of the [bond-eating] ability.

[Bond-eating] is a unique ability given by God when I was transferred to this world.

And yet, despite this, the only thing I currently know about it, is that it’s decreasing my status.
