In my bluish vision, I saw Ancelotti’s expression distorted slightly.

“Bullshit, you lonely adventurer! You can use an honest-to-goodness [Bonds-list]! All you have to do is increase your numbers and play, drink and hunt!”

“I don’t know what you care about, but I don’t need the [Bonds-list].”

“Then you will die alone!”

The dragon’s roar tries to pierce my eardrums.

“It bothers me.”

I bit off the thumb of my right hand and traced the blood on the palm of my left hand.

“Know your place. You’re on the wrong side of the fence.”

When the dragon opens its mouth wide, a fireball is formed.

With that as an afterthought, I extended my left hand towards the dragon.

“Join me.”

As soon as the blood in my palm began to glow reddish-black, the shadow behind me extended towards the dragon.

The dragon released a colossal fireball – but the shadow opened its white fangs mouth and swallowed the flames.

I used my momentum to clash with the dragon.

–there was only darkness left.

The blackness that covered even the dragon quickly became smaller and returned to my shadow.

“What?”

The voice of the demon echoed.

There was nothing left in the red room.

There wasn’t even a trace of a dragon in the space, just the three of us.

The only thing added was the shadow of the bond-eater who kept emitting high-pitched sounds behind me.

“The summon has been canceled! My abilities have been overridden, and the dragon is gone! Why, why, what have you done!”

“I ate it. That’s all I know.”

One step forward.

One more step.

I’ m getting closer to Ancelotti.

“Speaking of which, I’m wondering about a couple of things. Why do the demons have [Bonds-list]? So how is it that your status hasn’t changed?”

We stop just a few steps away from Ancelotti.

“You’ll answer me, won’t you?”

“No way!”

Ancelotti shoots a fireball at me.

But it’s easily blocked by the shadow behind me.

“I followed her orders and used a demon fox! She wanted me to kill anyone who doesn’t use [Bonds-list]! And yet!”

All the magic that is unleashed in several shots is absorbed into the shadow’s mouth.

“Oh, I see you’re up there.”

“Damn……”

The demon’s eyes quivered at the fact that he had slipped up.

Well, I can ask that person. I don’t need you.

When the shadow opens its mouth again, a white light forms in its mouth, just as the dragon shoots out flames.

“That’s for the dragons and all the magic you fired at me.”

A ray of light emitted from the shadow engulfed Ancelotti.
