Chapter 52

Just like a cannonball exploding, the right leg dyed golden kicked the undead with a tailbone.

This undead, with a fully evolved body, was even more powerful than a third-level Awakened, with its strength, speed, agility, and reaction all extremely terrifying. However, now it was somewhat slow to react. By the time Chu Nan's golden right leg kicked in front of it, it didn't have time to dodge. It barely crossed its arms to block the kick.

The moment it blocked the kick, the tailbone undead felt as if it had been hit by a tank.

The hand bones, arm bones, and then the chest bones all shattered together.

This kick directly kicked through the arms it had crossed to block, then penetrated the chest, creating a large hole from the back.

With a "boom," the tailbone undead's body rolled and flew back over ten meters, its upper body completely mangled, and its head rolled away.

The power of this kick was no less than a real cannonball, and almost all the undead around were stunned.

Because the tailbone undead was neither a zombie nor an ordinary undead, but a specially evolved undead with power surpassing a third-level Awakened.

Kicking an undead to death, Chu Nan landed and took a light breath. The golden gene in his right leg had awakened, and the golden power finally erupted.

His figure flickered, leaving a residual image on the spot. The three-eyed undead sensed something was wrong and lunged forward fiercely. Suddenly, a golden shadow descended from the air, and Chu Nan landed behind it, delivering a powerful kick from above, smashing the three-eyed undead's head into its chest cavity. Unable to withstand the golden power, the head exploded from inside the chest.

"Boom—"

The three-eyed undead fell dead.

In an instant, two extremely terrifying undead were killed, and the other undead were in an uproar. Chu Nan's figure continued to flicker, and he pulled out the spider claw embedded in the corpse of the undead with limbs evolved like a dog-like animal.

The golden right leg, not only indestructible, also gave Chu Nan faster speed, so fast that the other undead couldn't catch up, even the bone-armor undead in the darkness found it hard to hit Chu Nan with stones.

Because Chu Nan's movement speed was too fast.

"Whoosh—"

A golden residual image flashed by, and the giantized undead sensed something was wrong, emitting a deafening roar, and swung its arms heavily. However, it missed, and its body tilted. The golden residual image turned real, circling around to the back of the giantized undead and delivering a heavy blow to its back.

"Bang!"

A dull sound, like a giant drum, as golden light penetrated the giantized undead's back and emerged from its chest, splattering a large amount of blood, plasma, and broken bones. The giantized undead was cut in half from the upper body.

This was the power of the golden gene awakening, and the extremely reinforced giantized undead was cut in half by Chu Nan's golden right leg.

From the moment Chu Nan suddenly awakened to the fifth level and the golden power erupted, it took just a short instant to kill the tailbone undead, the three-eyed undead, and the giantized undead.

Chu Nan's figure continued to flicker, and the golden right leg kicked out continuously.

"Pop—"

A zombie was kicked, and its stomach and intestines burst.

Another undead was kicked in the head by Chu Nan's leg, causing its eyes to pop out and its head to shatter.

It was simply invincible. Wherever the golden light erupted, the undead and zombies became powerless.

A strong acid undead, about to spray acid from its tube-like mouth, was kicked in the chest by Chu Nan.

"Boom—"

A hole was kicked through its chest to its stomach, and the strong acid inside flowed out, pouring back into its body.

The undead's body swayed and fell, the acid melting large chunks of flesh, quickly exposing the white bones inside.

A stone flew through the air, whistling sharply, and shot towards Chu Nan's face.

His eyes narrowed slightly, and with his superior vision, Chu Nan's right hand swung the spider claw, hitting the flying stone in mid-air.

The stone shattered, and a tall figure, over 1.9 meters, appeared in front of Chu Nan.

This was the leader of the group of zombies and undead, with interlocking ribs on its chest, like a bone-armor undead, finally taking action.

Its left hand reached out, grabbing a man's head. This man was a second-level Awakened, but in the bone-armor undead's grip, he was like a chicken in an eagle's claws, unable to resist or even react. The bone-armor undead grabbed his head and used him as a weapon, throwing him at Chu Nan.

Chu Nan's heart tightened, retracting the spider claw, and his figure flickered, dodging the flying man. Suddenly, the bone-armor undead raised its right hand and struck the man's chest, creating a large transparent hole. Its fingers penetrated the man's chest and grabbed Chu Nan.

This happened in a flash, and Chu Nan was startled. His right hand's spider claw instantly turned to cut off the bone-armor undead's right arm.

"Clang—"

The spider claw hit the bone-armor undead's right arm, but a metallic sound was heard. Chu Nan's eyes widened in disbelief as he saw the muscles on the bone-armor undead's right arm split open, and a bone blade like a curved knife extended out. The spider claw hit this slightly curved bone blade.

The spider claw, which could cut through metal like butter, could not cut through this bone blade.

Chu Nan's heart raced, and his right leg kicked out, fast as lightning.

The bone-armor undead raised its bone blade, and the man it had impaled was cut in half. Crossed arms, with bone blades extending from the sides, continued to grow slightly.

"Bang—"

Chu Nan's golden right leg kicked heavily on the crossed bone blades.

The golden power erupted, and the bone-armor undead staggered and fell back. The bone blades, which could easily cut through human flesh, could not harm the golden right leg.

With a wild animal-like growl, the bone-armor undead's evolution was extremely terrifying. Its eyes flashed with a fierce light, and the bone blades on its arms, like curved tusks, left trails of residual images as they swung.

Both speed and strength reached a terrifying level. Chu Nan, now a fifth-level Awakened, did not dare to be careless. The golden right leg erupted, but instead of attacking the bone-armor undead, it jumped back, landing several meters away, and with a swing of the spider claw, it cut off the head of a two-armed mutant undead.

This two-armed mutant undead had just picked up Tang Sanli from the ground, about to twist his neck. Suddenly, Chu Nan appeared, and the spider claw cut off the top half of its head, spilling white brain matter and blood. The arms that had been strangling Tang Sanli stiffened and lost their strength.

"Follow me and get out—"

Chu Nan shouted, and his right leg kicked out, "Boom—" sending an undead flying in a parabolic arc.

The bone-armor undead approached, and the bone blades on its arms split apart. The ribs on its chest extended outward, revealing a large, blood-filled mouth with two rows of fangs, looking extremely fierce and terrifying.

These two rows of fangs, if they bit into a concrete wall, could crush it. If a person was bitten, they would be torn apart like meat in a meat grinder, quickly turning into a bloody mess.

The bone-armor undead's evolution had surpassed Chu Nan's imagination. Its entire skeleton had mutated.

Chu Nan let out a low whistle and swung the spider claw heavily, sparks flying. The two bone blades swung, and Chu Nan narrowly avoided them, leaving a long, shallow wound on his left arm.

At the same time, Chu Nan's golden right leg kicked the bone-armor undead's waist from the side. With a "boom," the bone-armor undead was kicked and rolled away.

Although it fell heavily, the bone-armor undead rolled and instantly got up, unharmed. Even Chu Nan's golden right leg could not damage its internal bones.

Chu Nan didn't pay attention to it but rushed to the other side, swinging the spider claw, cutting off the heads of an undead and two zombies. He growled, "Quick, go!"

Shen Mo, Su Yao, and others struggled to their feet and, led by Chu Nan, rushed away from the city.

Chu Nan's current goal was not to kill all the undead and zombies but to lead the remaining dozen or so people to safety.

All around, the number of zombies and undead was increasing, and the bone-armor undead was extremely powerful, even stronger than Chu Nan, so he didn't dare to linger.

His right leg swept horizontally, kicking away two zombies blocking his path, and he rushed out, with the others running for their lives.

The bone-armor undead's figure flickered, and suddenly, it grabbed a woman who was running the slowest from behind. The two rows of ribs on its chest extended and bit into the woman.

The woman let out a piercing scream. The two rows of ribs made a "cracking" sound, like two rows of meat grinders, sucking the woman in and continuously grinding her. Large amounts of flesh and blood were ground into clumps and swallowed into the bone-armor undead's empty chest, then forcefully sprayed out.

Like a fountain of flesh and blood.
