Ritsu who had left Kenji’s patient room, was currently on the roof of the hospital ward, sitting on a bench under the shadow of a tree while gazing at the night sky and cityscape that spread in front of him.

While Ritsu was sitting lifelessly on the bench, he heard a squeal from behind.

“Mm?”

As he turned around, he saw a girl with sharp eyes and a sword, standing rigidly.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t expect to find someone here.”

The girl changed her wide-open eyes into cold ones, and quickly turned around to leave the place.

“Ah, don’t worry. I’ll be gone in a while, so please stay.”

Ritsu called out to try and stop her.

“Is that so. In that case, excuse me.”

The girl sat on the edge of the slightly long bench, and began staring at the sky just like Ritsu.

“Do you see something?”

Ritsu tried making conversation.

“I see the sky.”

“Yeah. Are you visiting someone?”

Ritsu tried to continue the conversation one way or the other.

“Yes. A visit.”

The girl replied without changing her expression much.

“Is that so. Well, I think I’ll take my leave here.”

Saying that, he stood up.

“What exactly, were you doing here?”

The girl stared piercingly at Ritsu with her beautiful eyes.

“I, was gazing at the city. It’s beautiful.”

Ritsu once again looked over the cityscape.

“Is that so. Visitation hours are already over though. If you left like this, you’ll surely be scolded.”

The girl changed her gaze to a harsher one, as she said that.

“Will you be alright?”

“I’m not really here for a visit.”

The girl touched the sword on her bossom, as she answered while staring at him.

“………Are you on patrol?”

“Something like that.”

She says with harsh eyes.

“That’s perfect. In that case, could you return this for me?”

Ritsu handed her the neckstrap.

“Eh.”

She dropped her gaze to the strap, confused, but as she raised it back towards Ritsu, he was already gone.

“Haa, I’ve done it now. But I knew it’d mean a lot of trouble if I went about that normally.”

Dropping down from the roof, Ritsu walked back towards the headquarters.
