Rion had a desperate look on her face as she shoveled porridge into her mouth.

Having finished their morning practice, Ritsu and the rest were eating breakfast at the inn. The inn people also seemed to have been worried about Rion, so breakfast was porridge today in consideration for her.

“You must have been really hungry.”

Said Ren with a complicated expression.

“Yo!”

The door to the inn opened and Taishiro, the owner of the restaurant next door, walked in. As discussed, his preparations for sheltering Rion must have finished.

“Good morning.”

“Hey. So this is her, huh. She’s finally awake. I’m glad to see that.”

Taishiro sits down on a chair and orders his own breakfast from the inn clerk.

“Yes, Taishiro-san.”

The receptionist, Nami, seems to have met Taishiro as she responded in a familiar manner.

“So, about the girl. Did you find out anything?”

Taishiro frowned. Ritsu silently shoved breakfast into his mouth with a gloomy expression.

“What’s wrong?”

Rion gets closer to the two.

“Nothing…”

“Nice to meet you young lady. I’m Kazuno Taishiro.”

“Nice to meet you as well. My name is Rion.”

Rion hid diagonally behind Ritsu as she introduced herself.

“Ha ha ha, am I that scary?”

“Taishiro-san’s that size after all. Of course a girl like that would be scared!”

The employee named Nami tapped Taishiro’s shoulder.

Taishiro scratched his head dejectedly.

“But these two boys were fine, you know?”

Nami looked towards Ren, expecting backup.

“Ritsu, feeling bad?”

“Taishiro-san’s not liked it seems.”

“But, if you boys are travellers then wouldn’t it be better to leave her with us?”

Taishiro said while looking at Ritsu.

“No!”

“Ritsu-san…”

“Ritsu is bothered?”

Rion utters while looking at Ritsu.

“No, but it might be dangerous…”

“I’ll be fine.”

She pulls as Ritsu’s clothes.

“She’s become attached to you in just a few days. Of course, if you boys are fine with it then I won’t force you either.”

“Rion, our journey might be full of dangers. We’ll do our best to protect you from the dangerous stuff, but you’ll have to endure a lot, plus there may be things that take a toll on you mentally.”

Rtsu looked into Rion’s eyes as he spoke.

“I’ll be fine!…..Because wolf-san is here.”

Rion proudly puffs out her chest.

“Hmm…..What?”

Ren asks as if he couldn’t pick up on what she said.

“Mm?”

“Ritsu-san? Is something wrong?”

Ritsu tilts his head while looking at Rion.

He felt the ‘Ki’ inside her swaying. Normally, ‘Ki’ is something that flowed around a living being’s body, but based on Rion’s appearance, he could hardly feel any of it from her.

A strange phenomenon was occurring in which the ‘Ki’ was hiding inside her.

“Rion, did you try to gather your power just now?”

“Power?”

“No, it’s nothing.”

Taishiro finishes his breakfast and stand up.

Ritsu patted Rion’s head.

“Me too!”

“I hope to get along as well!”

“Well, if you run into any problems then let me know. Thanks for the food!”

Taishiro leaves the inn after saying so.
