Minutes later, after a journey full of disturbances, the group finally made it to their destination. Holed up in the corner of the bedroom was a delicate and extremely gorgeous person. This person was so exquisite that anybody would subconsciously feel fond of him. It was no wonder the bitch was willing to part with his hard-earned money.

And now, three people were squatting before this person. From left to right, they were Chu Jian, Long Junhao, and Shu Wen. The three of them stared at him with their mouths open. The person too watched them in silence. The entire scene was so quiet that even the drop of a pin could be heard.

Long Junhao bit his fingers and held it in. But finally, he could no longer bear it anymore and asked, “You’re… actually a mushroom, right? You’re definitely a mushroom, am I right?”

Gu Chen, who was leaning against the door frame, snickered and slid to the floor when he heard it.

Chu Jian asked skeptically, “Mushroom?”

Shu Wen used the same intonation. “Mushroom?”

Long Junhao ignored these two idiots and continued staring inquisitively at the person before him. However, the person before him didn’t speak. Long Junhao didn’t mind and continued waiting patiently.

“Actually…” After quite some time, the person’s mouth finally opened. Three pairs of eyes lit up only to hear him mutter slowly, “I don’t recognize you all…”

Long Junhao nodded. The other two followed and nodded as well.

“Actually…” That person continued feebly. “You all don’t know me…”

They nodded once again.

“Actually…” That person continued in the same tone. “I am just a little shiitake.”

Gu Chen had just climbed back up and he slipped down again.

“…” Long Junhao said, “Then aren’t you just a mushroom? Your prince guessed right!”

“Not a mushroom!” That person glared at him angrily. “It’s shiitake! Shiitake! You are so uncultured!”

“Damn you——Shiitake, how dare you call your prince uncultured!” Long Junhao got up furiously before pointing at the other two. “Come, issue my orders. We are having grilled shiitake tonight!”

When He Tianfan returned, all he saw was his precious darling being tyrannized by this bunch. His clothes were ripped and he was crying out “no!” whereas the prince was saying, “You have to even if you don’t want to.” At once, He Tianfan shouted, “What are you all doing?!” He hurriedly rushed over and hugged his darling and picked up the pieces of his clothes. Gently, he consoled, “It’s alright now.”

“They…” That person shivered and stuttered, “They want to eat grilled shiitake…”

He Tianfan nodded in bewilderment. “Shiitakes are delicious. Nutritious too.”

“Nooo,” The person bawled immediately, “I am shiitake ahhh!”

“…” He Tianfan eyed his exposed skin and gulped. “Actually,” he said slowly. “In fact, I also wish to have shiitake…”

“…” Long Junhao said, “You really are an incorrigible slut.”

He Tianfan tossed them all out and slammed the door with a loud bang. Following that, a muffled voice sounded, “Don’t eat me! Aarghh!”

Long Junhao stared at the door and lamented, “Beast! You’re just a beast in human clothes!” After going on a tirade, he turned to leave. Gu Chen couldn’t help ask, “Am I still not allowed to sleep in your room tonight?”

“No, you can’t. It’s too dangerous for me.”

“…”

“I’m heading back,” Long Junhao said lackadaisically and didn’t look back at all. He thought to himself that he really couldn’t stay here any longer. A bunch of lunatics and a primary doctor that wanted to eat him. It would be best to study making bombs.

Gu Chen watched Long Junhao walk off into the distance. He then slowly made his way to the director’s office. When he got there, he opened the door and entered, getting straight to the point. “Has that person’s information been investigated?”

“Currently investigating,” Li Xuan said. “However, when I made a call to ask, he only encountered He Tianfan merely a short while after he was warded.”

Gu Chen’s eyes narrowed. “That’s way too much of a coincidence.”

“We still have to wait for a more detailed report.”

Gu Chen nodded. He wanted to say something else when there was a loud boom in the distance. Li Xuan’s assistant rushed in. “It came from the direction of the prince’s residence.”

Gu Chen and Li Xuan exchanged glances, then immediately made a mad dash for Long Junhao’s courtyard.

“This…This…” Gu Chen’s hand was shaking and he tried his hardest to control his voice. Li Xuan had already sunk to the ground in a daze. All they saw was a crater in the lawn of Long Junhao’s courtyard. The culprit was squatting at the edges of the crime scene. His body was full of soil and his face was covered in dirt. His hair stood upright and even his head was smoking.

“Where…where did you get the materials?!” Gu Chen finally broke the silence with a trembling voice.

Long Junhao whimpered and slowly opened his mouth to speak. Each word he spoke was accompanied by wisps of smoke, “IED 1 Improvised Explosive Device , materials are easy to find…”

“Then don’t you know how to hide? What if you were blown up?!” Gu Chen continued shrieking. Cold sweat formed on his back just at the thought of that.

Long Junhao’s shoulders slumped. “I wanted to run after lighting it. But it didn’t explode for a long time. So I came back thinking that it was a dud.” He whimpered and started sobbing. “Who knew it would go boom. It gave me such a scare ah ah ah!”

Gu Chen went over and pulled him up. First, he carefully inspected Long Junhao, making sure he wasn’t hurt in any way before pulling him to a bathroom. Before reaching, he instructed the other staff to throw away the whole pile of items. Long Junhao felt an ache in his heart as he saw his materials being cleared away.

“You deserve it.” Gu Chen scoffed as he set the water to warm before returning to help Long Junhao change his clothing. Long Junhao’s body was still trembling slightly. Gu Chen nodded approvingly. “Not bad, at least you know how to be afraid. You deserve some praise.”

“Bullshit.” Long Junhao tried to put on a brave front. “Your prince isn’t immortal!”

“Then why did you play with explosives.”

“Isn’t this for the sake of escaping?!” Would I be in such a plight if not because of those people? Long Junhao got even more furious the more he thought about it. He turned to leave when his foot missed a step and he toppled forward.

Gu Chen hurriedly hugged him from behind and spun in mid-air and the two of them fell into the bathtub. Long Junhao who landed on Gu Chen instinctively wanted to get up. However, he wasn’t aware that his knees were caught in between Gu Chen’s thighs. The more he struggled, Gu Chen’s gaze became even deeper. Finally, Long Junhao felt his waist being tightly grasped as a familiar deep voice breathed into his ears, “Don’t move!”

Long Junhao’s entire face struck the water. He raised his head up and wiped away the droplets on his face as the original color of his skin finally returned. He glanced up and saw Gu Chen, meeting his gaze.

Gu Chen had a deep brooding look in his eyes. His pupils were fixed straight ahead and unblinking.

Long Junhao gulped. He suddenly had an extremely…extremely bad feeling.
