Xia Han was pleasantly surprised by the change in her son and told him that it wouldn’t be long till he could get discharged. Long Junhao made a sound of agreement without getting excited. Long Xi, who had always been silent, opened his mouth for the first time. “If you can keep maintaining this state, I can go and settle the discharge procedures right now and let you recuperate at home.”

Long Junhao glanced at him. The amount of times he had been tricked by this demon has made him lose even the most basic trust he had. He boldly waved his hand. “No need!”

“I’ll only say this once.”

Long Junhao boldly waved his hand again, this time a bit more aggressive. “I said, no need!”

Long Xi paused for a moment before he nodded his head and left with Xia Han.

“Hmph.” Long Junhao decided to continue his walk and survey the whole place.

“Isn’t this Brother Long?”

Long Junhao turned his head and realised that he had somehow ended up at shiitake’s place. And that shiitake’s other personality was now greeting him.

He immediately bowed and saluted with both hands, “Ah, Brother Yu, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other. How are you doing?”

Yu Ao mirrored his action. “This one has been well, is there something going on that you’ve decided to grace me with your presence?”

Long Junhao was actually only just walking around but since he’d been asked so sincerely, he decided to respond in kind. “Truth to be told, your prince is here to say his farewells. Your prince is getting discharged today.”

Yu Ao was stunned. “If you leave then what am I going to do?”

“Well, Brother Yu, you’ll have to ask your boss.” Long Junhao put his arms over Yu Ao’s shoulder. “Anyways, it’s hard to see you around, come, let’s drink wine and enjoy some songs.”

Yu Ao thought for a moment before he nodded. “Alright. I’ll go get a notebook first.”

“For what?”

“To record down our conversation. Proof that I did my job.”

“…”

A few minutes later, the sound of glasses clinking could be heard from the lakeside pavilion.

“If you were to talk about your prince’s history of trying to get discharged, there is only one word that can describe it…miserable…” The prince sighed, “be good, don’t record this down.”

Yu Ao, who was also drinking wine beside him, hurriedly scribbled down his words. “Is there more? I heard you climbed over the wall?”

“That’s nothing compared to the other things I did. Your prince, in order to escape, even made explosives, you know? Explosives.”

Yu Ao got interested. “What’s the result?”

“I almost blew myself up.”

Yu Ao immediately fell to the ground laughing. “Seriously, are you really not going to go back to the organization? You really should, that way it’ll be a lot more fun for me.”

“It’s not something I can decide,” Long Junhao poured more wine for him, “I really lost my memory. Even if I go back, what can I do?”

“You’re a genius, you can just learn everything from scratch again.”

“We’ll see,“ Long Junhao took a sip of wine and asked, “what will Lei Yan do if I don’t go back?”

“Not sure,” Yu Ao thought for a moment, “but he seems to find you very important so maybe he might come here in person.”

Long Junhao immediately spat out his wine and Yu Ao dodged to the side. “In… in person?”

Yu Ao slowly shifted back to his seat. “Maybe.”

“That’s… that’s scary, the boss appearing in person…” Long Junhao subconsciously looked towards the dean’s room, wanting to see Gu Chen.

Coincidentally, Gu Chen was walking out and saw the two of them in the distance. He immediately went forward and stood beside Long Junhao.

Long Junhao was overjoyed to see him and he quickly pulled for Gu Chen to sit down. He started to massage his shoulders and serve him drinks. “Are you thirsty? Tired?”

Gu Chen was shocked. “Hao Hao, what’s the matter?”

“It’s nothing, I’m just being kind and caring.” Long Junhao laughed and silently thought to himself: Your prince is obviously doing this so that he can go out! Your prince has never served anyone, not even in this second life!

Gu Chen was even more frightened. “If you have something to say, you can say it directly.”

“It’s really nothing,” Long Junhao continued smiling, “you went to settle the discharge procedures for me so it’s a given that I do this.”

“Discharge procedures?” Gu Chen blanked out for a moment. “I didn’t do it.”

Long Junhao also blanked out. “Didn’t you go to the dean’s room?”

“Yes,” Gu Chen pointed at Yu Ao, “to discuss with Li Xuan on what to do with him.”

Long Junhao opened his mouth. “Didn’t you say you’d bring me out and we’ll live together?”

Gu Chen nodded. “When the right time comes.”

“And when will the right time come?!”

“Probably after we solve the Lei Yan problem.”

Long Junhao went crazy. “And when will it be solved?!”

“It’s hard to say. No one knows whether Lei Yan will stop and anyways, the discharge procedures can only be handled by the person that admitted you here, which is, your father. Eh, Hao Hao, are you okay?”

Long Junhao stared blankly at the building in front of him, unmoving. He could hear a voice calling from far away. “Husband, what a coincidence to see you again~”

A certain Taoist Master who came to fight the fox spirit again squinted at him. “The ophryon 1 midline on the forehead just above the eye socket has become blacker…”

“You’re not leaving anymore?” The little shiitake’s other personality happily tore the notebook in his hands, “that’s great!”

Gu Chen continued to ask worriedly. “Hao Hao, what’s the matter with you?” Just as he finished speaking, he heard a huge roar overhead. He looked up and saw a helicopter flying over. Li Xuan sprinted out of the dean’s room with his tail wagging and ran towards the parking spot.

He smiled and went to pull Long Junhao along. “Come, I’ll take you to see someone. Xiao Yu is here.”

It was only then that Long Junhao regained his senses. He burst into tears and sobbed. “F*ck, I was cheated…”

“…”
