The prince who suddenly intruded into a great historical moment seemed to not hear what he said and continued softly, “yes, this must be the wrong way to open it… Let me do it again…” Immediately after, he turned his head and went out again.

The door closed with a click and opened again after a second, “why… I even rubbed my eyes outside…”

“……”

“……”

“Fine, I’ll accept my fate…” The prince slowly inched over, “what are the both of you doing? Ex… Uh, shooting? What are you doing? Is it because he doesn’t have a good background? That’s called job discrimination, job discrimination! You really shouldn’t do that, comrade.” He stared at Chu Jian and began educating with earnest words and heartache.

A layer of question marks immediately appeared above Chu Jian’s head who was now even more confused. He looked at him carefully and in an instant, an image appeared in his head, “…Prince?”

“Yes, yes, I am,” Long Junhao immediately played his role and instructed in a serious voice, “my dear subject, I order you to put the gun down.”

Chu Jian subconsciously wanted to obey but suddenly felt something was wrong. He looked at him again and went through his memories before hesitating, “…Madam? Uh…die without…descendants?”

Long Junhao’s face instantly blackened.

It was then, while Chu Jian was distracted, Luo Yi suddenly reached out and removed the gun before pulling him into his arms and holding him down. Both of them fell on the bed and Chu Jian blew up in an instant. “Luo Chengxuan, let me go! I’m going to kill you!”

Luo Yi kissed his head and said, “l’ll let you kill me. But only after you stop thinking about dying with me. So as of now, I won’t let you.”

Chu Jian was stunned for a moment and began to struggle in his arms. He roared with a trembling voice, “why do you care if I want to die or not?!”

“Because I don’t f*cking love you!” Luo Yi roared back at him.

Chu Jian was stunned again and looked up at him. Luo Yi gasped heavily and his eyes were red. He slowly spoke after a long time, his hoarse voice trembling slightly, “I don’t love you. Who told you to die with me? Every time I see you… my appetite is spoiled…and even in death… I won’t be at peace.”

This time, Chu Jian blanked out for a very long time before he opened his mouth and said, “…then why are you still hugging me?”

Luo Yi didn’t answer but increased the strength of his arm and tightly held him till it felt like he was going to merge into his body. He buried his head deep into his neck and his body trembled. For a moment, Chu Jian thought that he was crying.

Chu Jian stopped struggling and stared at the ceiling blankly. “Luo Chengxuan, why did you have to mix with the underworld…”

“I don’t know. When I was born, I was already the crown prince of the underworld…” Luo Yi’s voice quietly said. He continued helplessly, “Comrade Chu Jian, why do you have to be…”

Chu Jian opened his mouth, “…Ah, I don’t know.”

The prince who suddenly became transparent and was part of the wall was very sad. He silently turned back and closed the door, “…what’s going on exactly?”

Li Xuan didn’t answer but he pushed the group of people aside and patted him on the shoulder with great excitement. “Lucky mascot, you’re my lucky mascot! Thank you very much! I really appreciate you!”

“…” Long Junhao asked, “then you can exempt me from one month’s hospitalization fee?”

Li Xuan immediately glared angrily, “impossible!”

“…half a month?”

“Even more impossible!”

Long Junhao bit his finger and continued, “…A week?”

Li Xuan was furious, “even, even more impossible!”

“…” Long Junhao said, “your reaction and words seem to be reversed…”

“Why do you care?” Li Xuan snorted and turned away, getting ready to make a list of expenses for Luo Yi.

Long Junhao stopped him, “okay, how about telling me what happened?”

Li Xuan thought for a moment and reluctantly replied, “fine, follow me to my room. I’ll tell you while making a list.”

“……”

When Long Junhao ran out of the dean’s room with tears, Luo Yi was already sitting and smoking in Chu Jian’s courtyard. With the sunset glow of the sky on him, it made him look extremely dispirited.

He slowly walked past, turned around in front of him, and then looked left and right.

Luo Yi sighed, “Your Highness, is there something worth studying about this lowly commoner?”

“Yes,” said Long Junhao. “I’ve yet to see a big boss of a gang.”

“……”

Long Junhao bit his finger and looked again before finally asking, “where’s Chu Jian?”

“Asleep.”

Long Junhao nodded and suddenly walked over curiously before sitting down beside him. “Didn’t you die? How exactly did you survive? No, wait, I mean, nobody came forward to check?”

Luo Yi took a puff and looked at the white fog. “The warehouse exploded soon after Chu Jian shot me. That was my territory so my subordinates rescued me using another route. Afterwards, they held a funeral for me. No one would’ve suspected anything. Though, I was seriously injured, shot and many places on my body were burned. It took me more than half a year to recover.”

Long Junhao said, “oh, that’s why you changed your face.”

“Sort of.”

“Then why are you doing this?” Long Junhao looked at his police uniform. “What about being the big boss of a gang? It’s really weird.”

“Part time job,” Luo Yi sighed, his eyes drifting farther, “I just want to see what life is like and experience… his life.”

Long Junhao sniffed. But as soon as he was about to comment a few moving words, he saw a piece of paper with a long string of numbers hanging down in front of them. Li Xuan appeared from behind their shoulders and kindly said, “I’m so happy to see you alive.”
