Yuuyami never dreamed .

Autodolls do not dream . When system goes down, thereupon everything disappears . Just as bubbles . Fun days, happy moments, anything and everything . However,the consciousness of Yuuyami certainly was still there . Yuuyami couldn’t comprehend “where” is “there” . Very-very insignificant consciousness which appeared to be dark, insubstantial and drifting .

“Lydia…”

She didn’t perceive was it mutter or thought . Nevertheless, she wished to meet her . She wanted to apologize for her arms which were about to break Lydia . Truly dangerous . Even so, she was able to release Lydia just a few seconds before the system was shut down . That the only relief .

“Lydia…”

Yuuyami murmured once again . Or thought, perhaps . Either one would go . Painful, she was incapable to validate appearance of Lydia . Sorrowful , she couldn’t hear Lydia’s voice . All alone in the dark . Yuuyami considered it just like a prison . Yuuyami didn’t feel coldness . The coldness of one who dies . And yet, her heart was frozen . The hard fact to not have Lydia by her side was killing her . She thought it would be easier to vanish completely from this state .

“I wouldn’t recommend that . ”

Someone uttered . Who said it unknown for Yuuyami . Maybe no one really have said anything . She didn’t understand .

“You are in the process of evolution . Consequently, you have to place your trust in your beloved and be patient . ”

Certain image collide with the consciousness of Yuuyami . A single flower floating in the darkness . Purple one, the flower which Lydia often saw in her dreams .

“You are . . ?”

As soon as Rapha returned to underground research facility, she laid Lydia on her bed . After that, she had Ohan to carry Yuuyami in the laboratory to scan Yuuyami’s system . Lydia told her not to repair, thus she had no intention of trying to restart . She just wanted to know the situation in details .

“It’s amazing, how Yuuyami’s quantum brain went down . ”

Yuuyami was the prime Autodoll in the world, designed by Rapha and Lydia . So couldn’t fall easily . The results of scanning were showed on display .

“I see . ” Rapha nods . “The cause of shutdown itself was an information overload, isn’t it?”

She judged by the data from display .

“What kind of information should have been injected to make it fail? Enormous quantity of information?”

However, conjecture was wrong . Looking at the displayed data, there was a quite of space in the storage of Yuuyami . It could still save as much data as one’s desired .

“So the problem wasn’t in quantity but quality . ”

Even so, how complex must’ve been the information which exceed the processing power of Yuuyami? Rapha couldn’t imagine it at all . Even a simulation of supernova explosion was a simple task for Yuuyami . The specifications were to such extent . Naturally, she would lose to computer that specializes in it .

“Ara?”

An odd part could be seen in the scan result .

“What does that means?”

Rapha tilted her head . System of Yuuyami was completely down . Notwithstanding that ,in a meagre area of quantum brain the signal hitherto existed .

“That can’t be . Most likely, some blunder . ”

Rapha scanned Yuuyami for the second time . However, the result was identical . A part of quantum brain was in operation .

“I can’t follow . Impossible . Scanner must be broken . ”

Albeit Rapha was confused, she inspected scanner . Nevertheless, no abnormality was found in it . On these grounds

“This data is truth, the result is…”

her head ached, Rapha clutched her head with her left hand .

“It’s almost as if Yuuyami dreaming now . ”

When she woke up, Lydia had a plenty of thoughts . She could grasp who she was and conjecture where she . Girl was very calm . Lydia raised her body while exhaling, clenched her hands and moved her feet in order to check her condition . There was no particular problems . Her body worked perfectly and she was able to think properly . Furthermore , she was wearing a dress . A pure white dress . No frillsーnot very cute . After confirming this, Lydia began to recognize her surroundings . Lydia was on white bed in a not-so-spacious room . On the opposite side, at the wall, placed a desk with computer on it . On the floor – sky-blue carpet . Moreover,

“Ohan…”

on the glittering and shining metal skeleton was jewel-esque vermilion visual sensor . The BD series, Type・Ohan, was sitting inside of the room . With both knees up, just like a child . The appearance was somewhat surreal .

“Lucy-sama, woke up, sleep well?”

Ohan said without intonation .

“By Lucy you refer to me?”“Yes . ”“It’s wrong . ”“Wrong?”

Ohan was just looking straight at Lydia without tilting his head .

“I’m Lydia . ”“…You are Lucy-sama . ”“It’s different . I’m Lydia . ”“…Did you change name?”

“I was Lydia from the beginning . However, supposing Ohan is talking about the older days then I don’t know . ”“What you don’t know?”“Er, I don’t remember what I called myself before the world collapsed . ”“Introduced yourself as Lucifer . ”“That’s the name of famous angel, isn’t it? Er, did I rebel against God and became a fallen angel?”“Not in database . ”“I see . ”

Lydia judged that Yuuyami would give her the answer which she wanted right away . However Yuuyami now was shutted down . If Rapha listened to Lydia obediently, Yuuyami shouldn’t have been rebooted yet .

“I slept fine . Will you take me to Yuuyami?”“Subject lost . ”“Er, firstly you asked how I’ve slept, right? As yet I answered . Then I wanted to meet Yuuyami . ”

After that restart Yuuyami . She was helpless on the beach, however as long as there equipment she surely restore Yuuyami . That’s why Lydia was calm . Without losing composure, calmly inspect a system of Yuuyami and thoroughly repair it . To her original Yuuyamiーwithout damage consciousness in the slightest .

“Yuuyami… Would that be a black-haired AD?”“That’s right . LM Series, type Ⅱ . ”“Type is not in the database . ”“I see . Is it because Yuuyami is newer? Well, let’s go to black-haired AD . She has a beautiful hair, resembles the night, right?”“Don’t understand . ”“Hmm…”

Conversation didn’t work out . Lydia decided to update Ohan’s database later with Rapha’s permission . Naturally, even in Ohan already installed a self-learning function, so the data was increasing as long as he was running . And yet, she felt that Ohan didn’t knew too much .

“Ohan, is Rapha don’t chatting with you?”

Lydia mumbled quietly .

“Ojou-sama giving me orders, and I execute it . ”

It appeared he could hear it .

“Is that so . I might die without chattering, Rapha seems to be different . ”“Die? Lucy… Lydia-sama . You get injured? Do you need a medical treatment?”“No . It’s an allegory . I’m in good health . ”

Lydia sighed .

“Despite you are in good health , you will die?”“I won’t die . Forget it . Please . ”“Understood . Clearing the action log…”“No, no!” Lydia said in panic . “You don’t have to delete the log!”

Lydia thought it was an inflexible AD . Was every unconscious AD like this, or else Ohan was exceptional?

“Deletion of the action log cancelled . ”“Uh-huh . That’s good . ” Lydia sighed again . “At any rate, take me to Yuuyami . ”“Understood . ”

Ohan tried to stand up, however stopped halfway . And then, immediately switched to kneeling state, and, in such state, walked on his knees towards the door . Very comical technique of moving . At first, Lydia couldn’t make any sense of it . She wondered if there was leg malfunction . However,after looking at the ceiling, Lydia comprehend Ohan’s behaviour .

“That’s right . Inasmuch as Ohan’s huge, your head would stuck in the ceiling . ”

The high ceiling for Lydia was low for Ohan .

“Lydia-sama, please follow me . ”

“Alright . ”

Lydia got out of bed, then she stood as usual and walked as usual .

Lydia’s heart was calm . Since she was confident of restoration Yuuyami to the same state as she was . She had knowledge, what’s more the abilities . As long as she have equipment, there was nothing she couldn’t do . She believed, she didn’t have a doubt . However,in the laboratory, words of Rapha turned Lydia’s heart into the maelstrom of chaos .

“If you’ll restart it without formatting, the quantum brain would ignite, Onee-chama . ”
