"Dragon? Could it be your dragon?"
Li Muxin was startled, immediately thinking of the giant beast that had fought alongside Lin Mo on Socotra Island, a veritable killing machine on the battlefield, still vivid in her memory to this day.
"No, from the sound, it seems to be a small wind-type flying dragon, not a member of the giant dragon clan."
Lin Mo, hidden in the treetops, shook his head and then jumped down, giving the two sisters a discreet signal.
Not knowing whether the visitor was friend or foe, it was better to be cautious.
Under the dense foliage of a large tree, Lin Mo quietly chanted a spell, and a plate-sized light mirror suddenly appeared in front of him.
"Huh, what is this?!"
Li Mubing, leaning on a cane and hiding at the base of the tree, saw this scene and forgot her resentment towards the big liar, showing great curiosity.
This spell was simply amazing, allowing one to easily spy on any corner. If it could be combined with lip-reading or laser eavesdropping technology, it would be the best surveillance tool.
"Light Mirror Spell, a first-level spell!"
Lin Mo did not explain much but focused his mind, continuing to control this simple first-level spell with his mental power.
As the older sister, Li Muxin did not show her curiosity like her younger sister but quietly observed the light mirror floating in the air, which seemed half-real and half-illusory.
This unfamiliar world was not the one they had originally come from.
Who would have thought that the ace of the "Night" special operations team, whose flight code was actually his true combat role, would now be displaying such an incredible, scientifically inexplicable ability.
The only thing the twin sisters could do was to accept reality, face it, and adapt to it.
The Light Mirror Spell was like a holographic projection screen, rapidly switching scenes as if a high-performance telescope were hidden in the air, scanning and magnifying its field of view.
Soon, a flying beast flapping its wings appeared in the light mirror.
Its size was comparable to a medium-sized bus, covered in green scales, with a large wingspan and wings with a fine, translucent membrane. Its limbs were long and powerful, not as bulky as the giant dragons, making it look very agile and nimble.
Its head, half-lizard and half-bird, had short, thick bone spines forming a simple, symmetrical crest. Its large, copper-colored eyes with vertical pupils were sharp, often looking down at the ground and occasionally showing long, sharp teeth, indicating that it was a small carnivorous flying dragon.
All giant dragons were flying species. If not a giant dragon, they could be divided into flying dragons, land dragons, and water dragons.
Is this the wind-type flying dragon Lin Mo mentioned? It's really ugly!
Li Muxin tightened her grip on the 95-style automatic rifle and quietly disengaged the safety.
The enormous dragon wings, disproportionate to its body, were gently flapping. On its back, a human was riding.
A special scale-like leather armor combined with bright metal plates formed a full-body suit that provided both protection and flexibility, but it was far from the extremely ostentatious heavy armor that Lin Mo once wore.
At the feet of the air knight, there were two long, thick lances and a large bow, and a nearly human-sized quiver full of thick, metal-tipped arrows, all made of heavy iron.
From the equipment of this air knight, it seemed that both long-range and close-range combat methods were complete.
"Indeed..."
Lin Mo's face showed a mix of relief and renewed caution, a contradictory expression.
Although he did not know which hyperstring dimension this world belonged to, he could at least confirm that this was the world where he was born and grew up. However, the attire and insignia of the other party made him cautious.
The other party was definitely not an air knight of the Sylan Empire but more likely an air knight of the Sylan Empire's strong neighbor, the Republic of Portland.
Due to the lack of maps and satellite positioning, even Lin Mo, a native dragon knight, could not determine where he and the twin sisters were.
Perhaps their current location was within the territory of the Republic of Portland, or possibly near its border.
This was just a guess based on the sight of the Portland air knight.
"What indeed? Is he your friend?"
Li Mubing's eyes were fixed on the light mirror in front of Lin Mo.
If he was Lin Mo's friend, they could quickly leave this endless forest and the life of living rough.
"He is an air knight of the Republic of Portland, not a friend!"
Lin Mo decisively extinguished the light mirror and made a gesture for silence. The sound of intense flapping wings was already approaching.
Li Muxin and Li Mubing exchanged a glance. This pilot spoke little, but the information was substantial.
As professional intelligence officers, they could understand the implications of Lin Mo's words: the other party was an enemy, not a friend.
This further confirmed that Lin Mo, a colonel, was indeed familiar with this world, even able to identify the other party's identity.
The twin sisters simultaneously chambered a round in their 95-style automatic rifles, preparing for battle.

"Greg! Do you think Lady Semir, the daughter of Lord Bart of Cedar Town, is as young and beautiful as Oster and the others say?"
The air knight riding the flying dragon seemed to be talking to himself, stroking the smooth, hard scales of his mount, as if caressing the imagined fair-skinned, beautiful noble lady Semir.
Taking advantage of the mission, he could meet the sexy little wildcat his companions had spoken of, hehe, a combination of public and private interests.
The young flying dragon knight occasionally indulged in some extracurricular activities, tasting the unique flavors of beauties from different places, purely personal romantic pursuits.
Even if their superiors found out, they would at most scold them, but most of the time, they turned a blind eye.
"Ao!~~~"
As a wind-type flying dragon of the Storm Clan, Greg clearly did not have the ability to speak, only responding to his knight's ramblings with a long howl.
"Hmm, Greg, you also think Oster and the others are telling the truth! Hehe, you're a good partner, indeed, we see eye to eye (translated from the otherworldly language)."
Although the wind-type flying dragon could not speak, due to their long-term companionship, they could understand each other. The young air knight's mind was filled with the image of the noble beauty he had never met.
Suddenly, the wind-type flying dragon descended without warning, emitting a series of short, warning sounds.
It had detected an unusual scent in the air.
