**Boom! Boom! Boom!**

**Crack!**

A series of muffled explosions, like rolling cannon fire, echoed from the sky. Various invisible restrictions were being forcibly broken by Lang Sheng, the aloof genius of the Lang family, with a destructive force that seemed to obliterate everything in its path!

Seeing the young man’s display of power, Hu Gao actually felt a sense of relief. There were indeed restrictions in the air; otherwise, he might have died a very miserable death. Now, it was a matter of whether these restrictions could hold until the experts of the Hu family arrived.

"Break it!"

A loud roar echoed from the sky. Hu Gao looked up and felt that Lang Sheng’s attacks seemed to grow stronger with each strike. Although the battle was taking place in the air, Hu Gao’s ears were already bleeding, and he felt as if the entire Tu Mountain restricted area had turned into a World War II minefield, where the shockwaves from the explosions were almost tearing his body apart!

**Howl...**

Suddenly, a massive wolf shadow, at least five meters tall, appeared behind Lang Sheng as he walked in mid-air. He let out a piercing howl, and as he stepped forward, the wind whistled loudly. Large areas of restrictions were destroyed, and the sky, which had been blue and clear, shattered like a mirror!

"The power in this world is simply overwhelming... I can’t even imagine how strong one can become..." Hu Gao couldn’t help but marvel. He couldn’t fathom how a person’s strength could reach such a level; it was truly unbelievable.

"Lang Sheng, how dare you act so recklessly in the Hu clan’s restricted area! Give me your life!"

At that moment, a furious roar came from the distant sky. The sound was barely audible at first, but as the word "come" was uttered, Hu Gao immediately felt a terrifying aura sweeping over him, covering all directions, and then transforming into a giant hand that struck down at Lang Sheng.

"Finally, you’re here!"

Hu Gao was forced to retreat step by step, his body staggering, but his eyes were filled with excitement, and tears streamed down his face. His life was finally safe.

"Old man, do you think I’m afraid of you?"

**Howl...**

After searching for a long time without finding the Hu clan’s successor, Lang Sheng was already somewhat irritated. When the Hu clan’s expert arrived, he didn’t immediately flee. Instead, he controlled the giant wolf behind him to raise its head and roar angrily. A ball of black flames spewed from the wolf’s mouth, moving as fast as lightning, and wrapped around the energy hand.

**Boom!**

With a muffled grunt, the energy hand’s speed didn’t decrease as it struck the wolf’s head, and the terrifying force instantly turned the giant wolf into nothingness.

The energy hand’s power remained undiminished and fell directly to the ground.

In an instant, the ground, which seemed to be made of tofu, shook violently for several hundred meters, with sand and rocks flying everywhere. A giant palm print, as large as a basketball court, appeared on the ground.

"This... This is too terrifying!"

Hu Gao took a deep breath. The power was equivalent to a small missile explosion. If he had been closer to the battle, he would have been caught in the crossfire. Even so, he was battered and bruised by the aftermath, looking utterly disheveled.

How could he describe this feeling? Hu Gao couldn’t quite put it into words, but it felt very much like watching Ultraman fight a monster. Damn it, why did fate have to throw him into such a world? What kind of grudge did he have in his past life?

"How are you, Hu Gao? Are you okay?"

An elder landed in front of Hu Gao, his face full of anger and a hint of paleness.

It was the Elder of Judgment! His complexion was poor, as if he had just recovered from a serious illness. The black flames spewed by the giant wolf must have been problematic.

Hu Gao carefully examined the Elder of Judgment’s face, feeling a chill. When he first appeared, his anger was sky-high, and his aura was overwhelming. After a powerful clash with the giant wolf, his energy immediately weakened, clearly indicating that he was severely injured.

However, the giant wolf’s illusion was dispelled, and Lang Sheng disappeared without a trace, not even leaving a threat. He must have been injured as well.

**Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!...**

At this moment, four more figures quickly flew through the air and landed beside the Elder of Judgment. All four were dressed in white robes and wore strange masks, making it impossible to see their faces.

"Elder of Judgment, are you injured?" the four asked urgently, sensing the elder’s weakened aura.

"I’m old, and my body isn’t what it used to be. I didn’t expect that brat from the Lang family to have grown so powerful. I underestimated him," the Elder of Judgment sighed. "We shouldn’t stay here any longer. Let’s return to the ancestral hall."

The four knew the elder’s injuries were serious and that only the high priest in the ancestral hall could treat him. They didn’t dare linger and nodded in agreement.

"Shadow, take Hu Gao with you. The restrictions here have been almost completely destroyed, and it’s no longer safe to stay."

The Elder of Judgment spoke to a man with green hair, similar to Hu Gao’s, and then looked at him deeply, his cloudy eyes revealing a sense of disappointment and even despair.

The other four also looked at Hu Gao, and even though their faces were masked, he could feel the complex emotions in their eyes. The one who was supposed to bring glory to the Hu clan had to rely on the Elder of Judgment’s life-risking protection to survive. They found it hard to accept this harsh reality.

"Ah, I can only hope the guardian deity awakens soon! After all, his original name was Qinggao!" the man with green hair muttered, picking up the battered Hu Gao and throwing him onto his back. "Hold on tight!"

What the hell, Hu Gao was startled. Before he could even understand what was happening, he felt his heart almost leap out of his chest. This was more terrifying than a roller coaster at an amusement park, and there was no safety belt!

He couldn’t afford to be picky and quickly hugged the man called Shadow. After all, his life was at stake, and at this moment, he had to put aside any concerns about being too close!

He never expected his first experience of flying to be so humiliating. The wind whistled past his ears, and his hair was blown all over his forehead, making it almost impossible to see.

Most importantly, the pilot’s control skills were terrible, completely disregarding the passenger’s experience. Hu Gao’s mouth was constantly babbling, feeling that this was the only way to release his nervousness!

But at least he had a taste of something new. Especially when they approached Ningcheng, the view from the air of the massive stone structures gave him a sense of playing a 3D game, making everything seem so unreal.

It was like a dream!

Before he could fully appreciate it, with a sudden series of ups and downs, accompanied by Hu Gao’s screams, the group landed in front of a large, semi-circular building. The style of the building was quite strange, resembling a stone-built Mongolian yurt, simple and plain, yet extremely defensive, as the semi-circular shape was the easiest to create an absolute defense.

"What kind of storm will I face this time? Is this place going to be my home from now on?" Hu Gao stared at the familiar yet strange yurt, lost in thought.
