Thank you all for reading.
As Lina was frantically sautéing the onions, she was making crepes for Matheus and the others. The smell of the onions mixed with the sweet scent of the crepes, creating an indescribable aroma.
"Crepe... It looks delicious."
Those who couldn't eat it murmured and swallowed their saliva. They must be hungrier than usual. The people who had surrounded the prince were now surrounding Lina.
"Once Matheus and the others say it's okay, I'll let a few people have a crepe, how about that?"
Lina smiled wryly under the pressure from everyone and said it without thinking. A simple crepe with jam and butter would be fine.
But, I won't give them the ice cream. It's Prince Schueler's. Matheus and the others only put a spoonful on for a taste.
Of course, Prince Egiedilus had a generous amount...
What's the matter?
"Really!?"
"Yay!!"
Even though it wasn't certain they would get any, cheers already erupted as if they would.
"Matheus!! Of course it's okay, right?"
The feeling that he was being forced into a decision was palpable. Matheus and the others exchanged glances and made slightly unpleasant faces, but they nodded reluctantly, unable to resist the pressure from the apprentices and the losers.

"Ice cream, so good!!"
"Crepes? They're delicious with jam!!"
"Kukuberry, are they this good?"
"Finally understand why birds eat them so much."
"Right!!"
When the winners were given crepes, Matheus and the others enjoyed them. They looked like they wanted seconds of the ice cream, but they were holding back because it was Prince Schueler's.
"Ed, how was it?"
I asked Prince Egiedilus, who was eating elegantly. I wondered if he liked it, given his preferences.
"It was delicious!! Crepes and compote? They go really well together."
He seemed satisfied, having finished it all.
By the way, I don't like this apple compote. I can't get used to cooked apples. I was worried if it would suit his taste.
"That's good... I'm glad."
It seems Prince Egiedilus was fine with the cooked apples.
"Should I take a plate for Prince Schueler too? I made one for him."
It would be a disaster if he found out only his brother got to eat it.
"Sure, take it."
Lina handed him a plate with the same amount of crepe and put it in her magic bag.
"But, I didn't think those sour apples would be this good... I didn't like them much."
"Ahaha... You didn't like them much..."
Lina smiled wryly. The apples had a good aroma but were very tart. It made her realize how much Japanese fruits have been improved to be sweet.
"Is the compote okay?"
"Totally fine!!"
He nodded cutely, seeming to like it.
What should I do... I really want to pat his head.
Lina firmly closed the door to her heart that was about to open in that direction.
