He Yu looked at her, smiled and nodded, “Okay.” he said.

Still smiling, Su Qiuzi took the suitcase to her bedroom on the second floor. He Yu stood on the door of the study, waiting. Soon, Su Qiuzi returned with a bunch of flowers in her arms, the fragrance of the blooms enveloping her entirely.

Su Qiuzi held a card in her hand. That was a greeting written by He Yu. She happily ran to He Yu and asked, “Husband, is this for me?”

Her face was full of smiles as she looked up at him, eyes shining in happiness. He Yu laughed, tenderness filling his expression. He raised his hand and touched her hair, murmuring, “Well, happy graduation.”

He Yu knew that she was graduating today, so he came home early, bought her some gifts, a bouquet, and waited for her at home.

Once she discovered why he was home so early, Su Qiuzi was a bit surprised. The temperature of her husband’s palm on her head reached all the way inside her heart, filling it with sweetness. He was always so kind and gentle, so considerate of her; he often remembered things she didn’t even care about.

“Thank you, husband.” Su Qiuzi laughed.

He Yu didn’t need to go to work this afternoon, so he finished the remaining work at home. Su Qiuzi was happy holding the flowers for a while, then the couple went to the supermarket. They were going to buy some ingredients to prepare for dinner.

Naturally, He Yu was going to cook. After helping with the vegetables, Su Qiuzi accompanied him in the kitchen. He Yu wore a white shirt and stood tall and straight in front of the chopping board.#pleasereadthischaptertatfoxaholic.com

“Did you learn how to cook from your mother?” Su Qiuzi asked, staring as he worked the knife.

“I learned it by myself.” He Yu glanced back at her for a moment before returning his attention to the vegetables. He cut the lotus roots into slices and put them in the water beside him. “I went to the United States in high school. I had to cook for myself.” He added with a faint smile.

He Yu’s life was not all smooth sailing. Thinking about it carefully, he was only a child when his parents divorced. His mother remarried and his father went abroad, so he grew up with his grandfather. When he went abroad for high school, he could only take care of himself.

He had a gentle and soft personality as if he had a solution for everything. Even in the midst of any problems, he was still calm, charming and elegant.

Su Qiuzi was in a daze for a while, until He Yu looked at her and bumped her forehead, causing her to laugh.

“What are you thinking about?” He Yu asked with a smile.

Su Qiuzi shrugged a little, then she remembered her chat with Lin Qing today. She laughed for a while and said, “Husband, do you have some free time soon?”

His hands stopped for a moment, then He Yu arranged the tomatoes on the plate, turned on the faucet and rinsed his hands. After rinsing, he took a paper towel and slowly dried his hands. He didn’t reply, instead he asked her, “How about you? Do you have time?”

Su Qiuzi looked at him and rubbed his fingers quietly. His slender fingers had distinct joints and were connected with his smooth wrists, which were particularly beautiful. “I do. I have half a month before I start my job.”

He Yu hummed, smiled at her, and asked, “Then, would you like to accompany me on my business trips?”

Su Qiuzi was taken aback for a moment before asking, “Where to?”

“New Zealand.” He Yu replied.

Immediately, her eyes widened in happiness. She nodded enthusiastically and agreed. “Yes! It’ll be my first time going abroad!” She exclaimed excitedly.

She was going to work with He Yu, but this didn’t dampen her spirits. Feeling how happy she was, He Yu stared at his wife with tenderness in his eyes, smiling. Su Qiuzi called down as a thought occurred to her. “I won’t be affecting your work, will I?”

“You will affect my work if you don’t come with me.” He Yu said.

“Huh?” She looked at him, puzzled. “Why?”

He Yu stood there and quietly looked at her. He smiled, raised his hand, and beckoned. “Come here.”

Su Qiuzi approached him with a smile. She stood beside him as he stared into her eyes, black irises as clear as water. Then, he lowered his head and kissed her.

Su Qiuzi’s eyelashes fluttered and her heart missed a beat. The culprit glanced at her, a smirk visible on his lips. With his deep voice, he murmured, “Because I want to kiss you everyday. If you don’t go, I’ll miss you.”
