“Your show?” He Yu came over and sat next to her.

Su Qiuzi returned to her senses and smiled when she saw He Yu , asking, “Are you done with your work?” Afterwards, seeing He Yu looking at her phone, she beamed and said, “Yes, the latest episode of the show.”

Her new show, which she had introduced to him when she was on the phone, was a type of Law category. He Yu looked up at her and asked, “What case is this episode?”

“The husband killed his wife.” Su Qiuzi said simply.

He Yu, who was holding a glass of water, looked at Su Qiuzi with a twinkle in his eye. Su Qiuzi droned on to him about the context of this case involving law abuses, and by the end of it, the two had gotten into the car to go home.

This case was quite chilling, especially as it would make people fear marriage. It’s a creepy feeling when you’re obviously the two closest people in the world, yet you’re stabbed in the back by your own loved ones.

But Su Qiuzi optimistically said she had no such worries, He Yu was so rich, where would he care about the few bucks from cheating on her insurance. She looked at the man who was quietly listening to her on the side and joked, “I’m not sure about that, I’m so poor, I might just buy insurance for you ……”

“Do you have money for insurance?” He Yu went along with her joke and asked.

Upon hearing that, the girl touched her nose, He Yu laughed quietly, raised his hand to stroke her hair, and said, “I’ll buy it for myself, and the beneficiary will be written under your name.”

After saying that, the couple in the car both laughed.

It was already seven o’clock in the evening when they got home, learning that He Yu was returning, Su Qiuzi had stocked the refrigerator with ingredients. He Yu made dinner, while they were eating, He Yu’s phone rang. He pursed his lips slightly, without leaving the dining room, he answered the phone.

“Grandpa.”

He Yu returned to the He Family residence and discussed the New Zealand resort with He Fengjia for a full night. The old man was in good spirits, having no intention of taking a rest, so when Aunt Zhai came to get him at 10 p.m., he got up with He Yu and said to him, “There’s no work tomorrow, so stay at the He Family residence tonight.”

The old man’s health was relatively good in the summer, and after seeing He Yu today, he was in a good mood, looking hale and hearty.

He Yu stood beside him, smiled faintly, then said, “Qiuzi is still waiting for me at home.”
