Chapter 43 - Amuse Me first and I Maybe Help

Luo Qianyi’s scandal went viral. Previously, her picture was still pixelated, but now, not knowing from when, the pixelation was gone. What was more, her name was marked right there beside the picture. Apart from the scandal, the newly bought land of the Luo family also surprisingly got them in trouble. It was inspected now and then by the industrial and commercial bureau.

Luo Qianyi had no other way but to turn to Chao Sheng for help.

When Luo Qianyi arrived, Chao Sheng was reading newspaper and the most evident picture on the cover was her!

The scandal has been a while. She was meant to cool it down. However, no matter how much money had been spent, it just didn’t work. What was worse, various kinds of bad deeds of the Luo family were also brought up to the surface at the same time. Cooperation was canceled. Applications for bank loans were rejected. The Luo family now was struggling to survive. The only one who could help them survive was Chao Sheng. Luo Qianyi licked her dry lips and spoke, “Brother Sheng, this is the case…”

“Em?” Chao Sheng was with a smile, seeming to be very pleasant, “What do you want to say?”

Luo Qianyi seemed to see possible chances, “The news about me was not true. Someone is setting me up. Brother Sheng, please help me, help the Luo family, all right? Please.”

“Great!” Luo Qianyi was more than happy to hear it. This method killed two birds with just one stone. She could marry Brother Chao as what she had been wished. And the Luo family could take advantage of Chao Sheng’s social resources to get rid of all troubles. It couldn’t be better.

Chao Sheng frowned, seeming to be troubled, “But…”

Luo Qianyi’s breath was held again, “But what?”

Chao Sheng looked at Luo Qianyi up and down, “I’m a businessman. I help you with all those but without rewards. It’s not a good bargain.”

“You…you want what then?”

Chao Sheng said casually, “I want you to amuse me. As long as you serve me well today, I would consider whether to save the Luo family or not.”

Luo Qianyi was a little bit hesitated but finally said yes to the proposal, “Ok.”

“You go out first and wait for me.”

After Luo Qianyi went out delightedly, the smile on Chao Sheng’s face was gone immediately. The sudden emotion change was just as scary as it would be.

Chao Sheng picked up his phone and called, “The fish bites the bait.”

Before leaving the house, Chao Sheng came back to the room and saw the sound sleeping Qin Qin. It was upon seeing Qin Qin that a sense of softness could be told from his face.

The moment Chao Sheng was out, Luo Qianyi came to him and held his arm. She said delightedly, “Brother Sheng, where are we going?”

A sense of loathing fleshed across Chao Sheng’s face and was gone soon, “You will know when you are there.”
