Chapter 4

In the small forest of the school, Zhang Tie and the person on the ground had been wrestling for not even a moment. He hadn't even fully taken advantage of the situation, having just ridden on top of the guy and thrown a couple of punches. Suddenly, a powerful force struck him from behind, and Zhang Tie was kicked off the person he was riding, flying through the air.
Struck by the powerful force, Zhang Tie rolled forward and then sprang up with a quick flip. As soon as he stood up, two people on either side lunged at him. Zhang Tie kicked the person on the right, who, being tough, sidestepped and raised his leg to avoid the kick to his waist, using his thigh to block Zhang Tie's kick. Despite the pain, the guy grabbed Zhang Tie's right hand. Just as Zhang Tie was about to move his left hand, he threw a punch, which was also caught after being blocked. Just as he was about to struggle, he received a heavy kick to his lower abdomen, instantly losing his fighting ability.
The entire fight lasted less than thirty seconds. Given that everyone's basic strength was roughly equal, a one-on-six fight where one side was completely unprepared and the other side was a premeditated ambush, the result would be the same no matter who was involved. Moreover, compared to the people surrounding him, Zhang Tie, with his yellow skin and black hair, was clearly smaller in build. At 15 years old, Zhang Tie was 1.75 meters tall, while the shortest of those surrounding him was about the same height as Zhang Tie, and the tallest was 1.8 meters, weighing about 1.5 times as much as Zhang Tie. This was a difference in physical attributes.
Zhang Tie, who was bent over and gagging, was pulled up by someone holding his arms. The people who had just surrounded and attacked him were all sucking in cold air, rubbing the places where Zhang Tie had hit them, and approached him with ill intent. The guy who had been beaten by Zhang Tie while he was on top of him also stood up, feeling a salty wetness in his mouth. When he touched his nose, he found it bleeding, and his hand was covered in red. Instantly, he became furious, took two big steps forward, and punched Zhang Tie in the nose. Zhang Tie felt stars in his eyes, and his nose became instantly sore and painful. A salty, bloody liquid flowed from his nostrils into his throat, making him cough. "Damn it," Zhang Tie cursed in his heart, "this revenge came too quickly."
Just as he had been hit in the nose, a barrage of punches and kicks from the surrounding people mercilessly rained down on Zhang Tie, giving him over ten hits. If not for being held up by someone, Zhang Tie would have already fallen to the ground. Even so, at this moment, Zhang Tie could only gasp for air, feeling as if he were a fish suffocating in the sand, unable to move even a finger.
The guy who wanted to hit Zhang Tie's nose again had his hand suddenly pulled back.
"Enough, Doug. If you hit his nose again, it will be completely broken, and he will be disfigured. This will cause a big problem!"
"Yeah, we agreed that today we would just beat this guy up to vent our anger. Each of us would hit him a few times, but we shouldn't kill him. Damn it, I pulled my zipper too fast this morning and pulled out a few hairs, and it still hurts..." the guy holding Zhang Tie's right hand said.
"Big Head usually doesn't seem like much during practice, but today, if we were only two, we might not have been able to stop him!" This was said by the pimply, lecherous fat guy from Zhang Tie's class, Barry, the creator and organizer of the classroom airplane activity, one of the notorious scoundrels in the graduating class of the Seventh National Boys' High School, who at the age of twelve had stolen his father's money to visit a prostitute and proudly boasted about it.
Doug, with blood streaming from his nose, was busy using paper to stop the bleeding. He raised his head, full of indignation, and pointed at his nose, showing the injury, "Try it yourself, damn it, try it yourself. There were six of us, how could I be so unlucky..."
As Doug spoke, he angrily punched Zhang Tie in the stomach again. This caused Zhang Tie's already churning stomach to erupt, and the lunch he had just eaten spewed out like a fountain, covering Doug's head and face with a wet, steaming mess. The others were momentarily stunned, looking at Doug with paper stuffed in his nostrils, covered in vomit, and their faces twitched as they tried to suppress the urge to laugh. The two guys next to Doug covered their noses and stepped back, and the two holding Zhang Tie's arms quickly let go, fearing that he might turn and hit them with more vomit, which would be truly unbearable.
"Ah..." The unfortunate Doug let out a strange cry, then, without hesitation, ran off at an unprecedented speed, probably to clean himself up.
Seeing Doug run away, the remaining five guys burst out laughing. After vomiting, Zhang Tie suddenly became more clear-headed. He gasped for breath and struggled to stand up. Seeing Zhang Tie stand up, the two closest to him even took a cautious step back, fearing that the barely able to walk Zhang Tie might launch another indiscriminate attack...
Zhang Tie, standing up, wobbled and made a salute, looking at the bear-like figure that had appeared behind the others, and forced a smile on his face, "Captain Colin..."
"Ha ha, thinking of attacking us when we turn around, Big Head? Do you think we're idiots, or have you been reading too many low-level knight novels?"
"Or do you want us to beat you up again!"
"Ha ha, that trick is too childish, I haven't used it for years..." Barry laughed shamelessly, his shoulders shaking with laughter, his fat body jiggling.
"Is that so!" The voice behind them was calm, instantly making the five guys freeze like quails in ice, their bodies stiffening, their faces changing, sweat breaking out on their foreheads, and their legs trembling uncontrollably. This sudden change made Zhang Tie marvel at how they could perform such a series of high-difficulty actions in such a short time. Hearing Captain Colin speak, Zhang Tie's face remained calm, but his mind was racing...
The most terrifying one-eyed giant of Black Flame City, arms crossed, slowly emerged from the small forest behind the group, his single eye gleaming like a wolf's, looking down at the group with a condescending gaze.
"Co... Co... Captain Colin!" The five guys' tongues were tied.
"What's going on here?" Captain Colin raised his head and asked the group through his nose.
"We were... just here..." Barry stammered, but was interrupted by Captain Colin's rough voice.
"Shut up, did I ask you to speak?" Captain Colin glared at the group, turned to Zhang Tie, who looked pitiful, and pointed at him with a finger like a club, "You, tell me what's going on."
Hearing Captain Colin ask Zhang Tie, the five guys' faces turned pale, almost scared out of their wits. They stared at Zhang Tie with wide, terrified eyes, full of pleading and despair. If Zhang Tie revealed the whole story, Barry would swear by his virginity that Captain Colin, upon hearing that his beloved goddess had been so defiled by these students, would make sure they would never defile a woman again—under the special education system and certain special courses, Black Flame City allowed a few casualties each year at the National Boys' High School without any investigation.
"Reporting to Captain Colin, we were betting..." Zhang Tie made his decision. If the boys didn't fight, it wouldn't be a boys' school. He had fought many times over the years, and although he had suffered a bit this time, it wasn't a big deal. His father often told him to be lenient when possible, but they should pay a price.
"Betting..." Captain Colin frowned slightly, then looked at Zhang Tie's calm face and turned back to Barry and the others, "He says you were betting, is that right?"
Betting? The five guys' heads nodded like hungry chicks that hadn't eaten for three days.
"How did you bet, and what was the stake? Do you want to lie to the wise Captain Colin?" Captain Colin looked at Zhang Tie, as if to say, "Don't think you can fool me."
"We bet that they would beat me up, and if they couldn't make me completely give up, I could beat them up in return, and they would give me all the money they had on them today. They lost, and I ask Captain Colin to be a witness..." The five guys looked at Zhang Tie, some relieved, others with a pained expression. This kid, even at this moment, didn't forget to get some money back.
As Zhang Tie spoke, he wiped the blood from his nose and walked over, punching each of the five in the nose and kicking them in the stomach in front of Captain Colin. Instantly, the five were bleeding from the nose, their heads almost touching the ground, and they were gasping in pain, but none dared to fight back.
When the five stood up again, Zhang Tie extended his hand in front of them, his thumb and index finger pinched together, making a gesture everyone understood...
Beating them up and then demanding money, at this moment, Zhang Tie felt that life was truly wonderful.
