Unable to get along with people and feeling isolated, Rumi was pushed aside and eventually demoted to a dilapidated building.

She was assigned to a terrible place with no lower position to fall to, where she was supposed to act as both a caretaker and a nanny.

“Waaaaah!”

“Cough! Cough cough!”

This place was where newborn orcas and whale calves gathered.

Due to the high mortality rate before the age of three, only the strongest calves were left to survive here.

Rumi saw dozens of children crying, coughing, and dying from unknown illnesses every day.

At first, she still moved with a sense of mission.

‘Well, these kids don’t tease me or avoid me, right?’

There were times when she felt joy watching a child laugh and smile after feeding them milk.

But.

‘Why are these kids so beautiful, so lovely, and so charming?’

The more powerful a water spirit, the more beautiful and lovable they are.

If these children survive and leave here, they will rise to the top.

That’s how they were born.

‘Why…? Why are you all like this, but not me!’

The rule set by the god of this world.

Rumi felt herself becoming more and more gloomy as she watched the beautiful children.

When she came to her senses.

“Waaaaah! Cough! Waaah!”
