Chapter 21

Boom!

Amidst the flying debris and shattered concrete, Li Mu and Colonel Hoover sprinted across the ground, sending fragments of stone flying like tofu residue. The fierce wind they stirred up shattered the glass of the shops lining the street.

Colonel Hoover, like a human tank, charged down the street, flattening the zombies that wandered about. Before they could even hit the ground, Li Mu, who followed closely behind, would viciously slice them in half.

Along the way, whether it was wandering zombies, broken vehicles, or even street lamps, everything became a weapon in Li Mu's hands. With a thunderous sound, he hurled them towards Colonel Hoover.

Colonel Hoover leaped and ran, firing his laser gun to shatter the heavy objects Li Mu hurled at him like projectiles. The screen on his helmet flickered, calculating the best escape route, allowing him to move gracefully and elegantly, creating a magnificent wind on the street.

When Colonel Hoover turned the corner at the end of the street, Li Mu's eyes turned even bloodier. He suddenly jumped onto the roof of a car, and with a powerful push, the entire roof caved in. Using this force, he slid through the air for over ten meters, his right bone knife gleaming with a cold light, and he was already behind Colonel Hoover. He raised it, and with a powerful slash, it came down.

Boom!

Almost at the same moment Li Mu's bone knife was about to strike Colonel Hoover's back, a loud explosion echoed. From the back of the street, Black Eagle, controlling the armed battle armor, raised his gun, and a metal storm capable of tearing through steel instantly sent Li Mu flying, blood splattering.

Black Eagle, like a robot, emerged from the shadows of the street, continuously firing, forcing Li Mu to hover in the air for three seconds before being thrown over ten meters.

Whoosh!

Old Eagle suddenly rushed out from a nearby shop, and with a powerful right arm, a metal net with flashing electric light shot out, directly hitting the hovering Li Mu. The metal net, carrying a terrifying electric current, instantly enveloped Li Mu.

A powerful electric current instantly leaped out, and the eerie arcs of electricity fell on Li Mu, instantly causing burns. Old Eagle tightened his grip on the metal net, which instantly closed, trapping Li Mu with a continuous electric current.

"I've got it!"

Old Eagle shouted.

"Great job!"

Gray Eagle, standing in another corner, gave a thumbs up, but his actions did not stop. Almost at the same moment Old Eagle captured Li Mu with the metal net, he fired a high-intensity tranquilizer gun, and with a few puffs, the tranquilizers were injected into Li Mu's body.

"Tranquilization successful, we can close the net."

Gray Eagle said calmly.

Li Mu, trapped in the metal net, first faced the machine gun fire from Black Eagle, then was ensnared by the 3,000-volt metal net from Old Eagle, and finally hit by several high-concentration tranquilizer darts. This series of attacks, from start to finish, took no more than three seconds.

The invincible Li Mu, capable of killing the mutated M2, was now in the net, seemingly losing his ability to move. Old Eagle began to close the net, with the mechanical arms providing a maximum force of fourteen tons, enough to drag a tank, let alone Li Mu.

Seeing Li Mu lying motionless in the metal net, Old Eagle sneered, "Done, finished. Boss, I told you, with the battle armor, any enemy is just a chicken or a dog."

Colonel Hoover did not respond; the red light on his helmet flickered as the built-in chip analyzed Li Mu's current vital signs. Suddenly, Colonel Hoover's face changed, "Damn, it's not anesthetized! Old Eagle, be careful!"

Almost at the same moment Colonel Hoover spoke, Li Mu, trapped in the metal net, suddenly moved. His right bone knife, sharp and invincible, slashed with great force, instantly tearing the high-strength metal net, and electric arcs leaped on his body.

Li Mu's feet pushed off, rising over ten meters. Even though Colonel Hoover and Black Eagle reacted in a fraction of a second and quickly fired at Li Mu, they only grazed his feet, shattering the door of the opposite shop.

"Eagle Eye!"

Colonel Hoover shouted.

Eagle Eye, occupying the high ground, had already taken action, leaping over ten meters and using his right bone knife and black bone spurs to embed himself in the building. Li Mu, who was trying to quickly evade, was instantly brought down by a large-caliber sniper rifle.

"Good." Colonel Hoover nodded, moving quickly, his gun firing continuously, "Battle formation, don't let it escape."

Black Eagle, Old Eagle, and Gray Eagle immediately spread out, each armed, surrounding Li Mu. Above, Eagle Eye occupied the high ground, suppressing Li Mu.

For a moment, Li Mu was completely trapped, with no way to escape. The fierce metal storm raged, causing blood to spurt from his body.

The injuries made Li Mu's eyes even redder, his breath more savage and frenzied. He charged forward, running quickly towards Black Eagle, braving the gun fire.

"Black Eagle, be careful, it's coming for you!" Colonel Hoover shouted, his gun moving quickly. Even with computer assistance, hitting Li Mu, who moved at over 100 meters per second, was extremely difficult.

Li Mu's right bone knife was sharp, his pupils dilating, and everything seemed to slow down in his eyes. His bone knife slashed, and the sound of metal clashing echoed as many bullets were split in half.

His feet moved irregularly and quickly, closing in on Black Eagle, making the others increasingly anxious.

"Damn, it's too fast! I can't hit it!" Eagle Eye roared.

"Let me handle it!" Gray Eagle moved, charging directly at Li Mu.

The armed battle armor gave him an indescribable impact force. His right hand grabbed behind him, and a large alloy sword, the size of a door, instantly appeared in his hand. He swung it through the air, slashing at Li Mu.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Gray Eagle, controlling the armed battle armor, moved at maximum speed, almost blending with the wind, tangling with Li Mu. Clang! Clang! Clang! The sound of intense clashes echoed.

Li Mu and Gray Eagle separated with a loud boom. Li Mu's right bone knife was chipped, and he had a terrible wound on his waist, almost cut in half. Gray Eagle also stepped back, with obvious dents on his armor and a sword mark on his chest, almost cut in half.

"Damn, his bone knife almost killed me." Gray Eagle said, still shaken.

"Fire coverage! Initiate Plan B!" Colonel Hoover said coldly, having given up on the idea of capturing Li Mu alive. The Gatling gun on his shoulder started to spin, unleashing a metal storm at Li Mu.

At the command, Black Eagle nodded, raising his right hand, and several missiles immediately flew towards Li Mu.

Li Mu's feet pushed off, leaving a trail, and he quickly stepped on the wall, his waist wound healing at a visible speed. He swung his knife, and a section of a street lamp rose, and with a swing of his left hand, it exploded the missiles.

The intense explosions shook the entire street, but Li Mu did not stop, continuing to charge towards Black Eagle, who posed the greatest threat.

"Your opponent is me!" Gray Eagle stepped forward, moving like lightning, and his large sword swung at Li Mu again.

"Gray Eagle, hold it, I'm almost done recharging!"

Old Eagle shouted.

"Got it. Come on, you bastard, my large sword is ready to go!"

Gray Eagle laughed maniacally, arriving first, and collided with Li Mu.

Steel clashed as the two collided brutally. Li Mu was instantly thrown back, and Gray Eagle's battle armor changed, with his heels forcefully embedding into the ground. The powerful impact, with this point of support, bent his knees, transforming into an even more violent force, chasing Li Mu in mid-air. His large sword flashed, ready to slice Li Mu in half.

PS: I tried to find a picture of Li Mu but couldn't find a satisfactory one. Frustrating. Also, the picture of the armed battle armor is still under review and should be available tomorrow... Finally, I've changed to A sign, so please recommend and collect more intensely!
