Boom! Boom! Boom!

The bombardment in the sky continued, but it was no longer as effective as the first and second rounds. Li Mu stood expressionless, coldly watching the spectacular explosions in the sky. The firelight illuminated his face, cold and merciless.

The red mutant parrot also perked up, standing on Li Mu's shoulder and pointing at the scene, saying, "Your Majesty, these humans can no longer harm us. They are doomed. Let me go and persuade them to surrender."

"After all, these humans are still useful. At least some of their inventions can entertain you, Your Majesty."

The red mutant parrot rolled its eyes, thinking about keeping some humans to work for it, with fine wine, cigars, and all the luxuries within reach.

Li Mu remained expressionless, giving the red mutant parrot a cold look. His brilliant silver eyes were cold and devoid of emotion, as if he could see through the parrot's thoughts. The red mutant parrot couldn't help but shiver, not daring to meet Li Mu's gaze, and缩着脑袋,不吭声了。

The rain grew heavier, and the artillery fire in the sky roared incessantly. Explosions echoed everywhere, lighting up the dark sky. The explosions continued, causing rolling shockwaves that destroyed buildings in large areas of Sydney, erasing entire neighborhoods, but they could not stop the advance of the zombie army.

Li Mu's eyes were silver, deep, and cold. He stood on the rooftop of a floating building, overlooking the entire Garden Island base. The human defenses at the sea-crossing bridge were also within his sight.

Li Mu remained expressionless, coldly watching everything. Even the red mutant parrot, with its telepathic abilities, could not guess what Li Mu was thinking.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The explosions continued. The human defenses at the sea-crossing bridge grew increasingly tense, each one gripping their weapons tightly. Through the heavy rain, they could see the zombie vanguard rushing forward, moving as fast as lightning.

"Prepare!"

Someone shouted sharply, and the army in front of the defenses immediately turned their guns.

"Fire!"

At the command, the gun barrels burst into flames, and the gunfire instantly unleashed. The sea-crossing bridge was the only path to Garden Island, and the forward base had set up defenses to control this passage, intercepting the first wave of zombies.

Rat-tat-tat!

The gunfire was intense. The zombies at the front howled continuously, their blood-red eyes flashing with ferocity, fearless and unyielding, charging forward despite the human artillery fire. Blood splattered occasionally, but no one paid attention to the fallen zombies. The gunfire continued, roaring out.

Scream!

A zombie, its body shimmering with blue lightning, leaped forward, moving as fast as lightning. In the pouring rain, it left a trail of blue arcs, charging directly towards the human defenses. It clapped its hands together, and a bolt of lightning as thick as an arm instantly flashed out.

The electric arcs jumped, and the azure thunder crashed down, covering hundreds of meters, landing directly on the human defenses. It was too fast for anyone to react. With a crack, three fully armed soldiers were instantly turned into charred remains.

This attack made the defending army's faces change dramatically. Someone immediately shouted, "Fire! Fire! Armored combat suit team, move in quickly and take out that zombie!"

A dozen armored combat suits immediately activated, bursting from behind the defenses. Their metal masks showed determination as they charged towards the oncoming zombie horde, firing continuously, their gun barrels cutting through the air, aiming at the lightning-emitting zombie.

Roar!

Facing the interception of the armored combat suits, the lightning-wielding zombie's blood-red eyes flashed with savagery. Fearless, it charged through the gunfire, rubbing its hands together, and a bolt of lightning shot towards an armored combat suit.

At the same time, a four-meter-tall zombie suddenly emerged from the horde, throwing a car at the armored combat suit team. It roared, grabbed a section of iron railing, and with a powerful pull, uprooted it, along with a stone block. The iron railing, weighing several tons, was handled as if it were nothing.

A whistling wind, like a giant cleaver, cut into the battlefield, slashing towards the armored combat suit team.

As these two zombies attacked, more and more zombies appeared before the sea-crossing bridge. The zombie horde, dense and relentless, charged forward without fear, braving the artillery fire, and fiercely assaulting the defenses set up by the forward base at the bridge.

"Hold the line! Hold the line!"

Someone shouted, their eyes red, their voice hoarse, and their gun barrel hot and glowing, but they dared not stop pulling the trigger.

"Foolish humans, do you really think you can stop us with your current strength?"

The red mutant parrot sneered, mocking them.

It had always followed Li Mu, and from its high vantage point, it could see the battle on the sea-crossing bridge. It shook its head, finding the humans utterly ridiculous.

How could a few defenses possibly stop the zombie army led by Li Mu? Not to mention the sheer numbers; even if each zombie spat a mouthful of saliva, it would be enough to drown the humans.

Li Mu remained expressionless, his silver eyes cold. He coldly watched the battle below, and with a flip of his hand, the floating building crashed to the ground with a thunderous impact, shaking the entire battlefield.

This massive shock immediately brought a glimmer of despair to the eyes of the army guarding the sea-crossing bridge. Although they did not recognize Li Mu, they could see that he, standing high and unmoving, was undoubtedly the king of the zombie horde sweeping in like a tidal wave.

"Damn it, what kind of monster is this!"

Someone couldn't help but roar, their emotions out of control, turning their gun towards Li Mu and firing.

The bullets whistled through the air, but as they reached Li Mu, they all froze, floating in mid-air, and then fell to the ground with the rain. This sight filled everyone who saw it with despair.

But after the brief despair, the army guarding the sea-crossing bridge became even more frenzied, discarding everything, fighting to the death, and angrily firing at the surging zombie horde.

"Come on, you damned bastards! Die, all of you!"

"Kill, kill, kill, kill all of you, bastards!"

Everyone's eyes were red. They had no choice but to fight, with their backs against the wall, knowing that defeat meant death. Behind them was the forward base, and they absolutely could not let the zombies charge through.
