"Ah..."

Wang Wuyin let out a loud cry and suddenly woke up.

"Wang Wuyin, what are you doing?" The physics teacher standing at the podium glared at Wang Wuyin, extremely angry. "It's bad enough that you were sleeping, but why did you knock over your desk and disrupt the class?"

The classroom was dead silent, and everyone was staring at Wang Wuyin.

Wang Wuyin was breathing heavily, his eyes wide with shock as he looked at the scene before him, which was both unfamiliar and familiar. He looked around warily, his mind in a daze.

Just a moment ago, he was hiding in a cave from enemy drones and hunter robots. How did he end up here?

Wang Wuyin's gaze focused on the podium. In the center of the blackboard, there was a portrait of Chairman Mao. On either side of the portrait, two red slogans were posted: "There is no glory that comes from waiting, only beauty that comes from striving."

A beautiful female teacher in her thirties, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, stood at the podium, her eyes filled with a murderous intent.

The teacher was dressed in a dark blue suit and a white blouse, her skirt reaching below her knees, revealing a section of smooth, white calves. Her black, shiny hair was tied up, and her well-proportioned figure, along with her elegant makeup and dangling earrings, exuded a sense of intellect and maturity, giving her a unique charm.

This face had been stored in Wang Wuyin's memory for many years. He was not unfamiliar with it, as it belonged to his high school physics teacher, Ni Yunxia, one of the most beautiful teachers at Qu'an No. 3 High School.

Looking around the classroom, he saw faces that were both familiar and unfamiliar, but at this moment, all the faces came to life.

Wang Wuyin found himself sitting in the first row of the second group. The desk in front of him had fallen to the ground, and the books on it were scattered everywhere.

Seeing Wang Wuyin's gaze, his desk partner, Zhu Yuxin, raised an eyebrow and gave him a thumbs-up, whispering, "You're awesome..."

What was going on? How could the scenes and people from the past appear before him? Was he dreaming, or had he been captured by the enemy and was being interrogated with hallucinogens and fabricated reality? Wang Wuyin had a thousand questions in his mind...

Looking at the various gazes around him, Wang Wuyin reached out and pressed his Zhongchong point. Pressing the Zhongchong point was the most effective way to determine if everything he was seeing was a hallucination caused by drugs. The Zhongchong point can stimulate specific areas of the brain, making one more alert. If everything he was seeing was a hallucination, it would distort and change when he pressed the point, like a TV signal being interfered with. If pressing the point didn't change anything and only caused pain, then what he was seeing was not a hallucination.

The Zhongchong point hurt, and Wang Wuyin's mind snapped to attention. This wasn't a dream. His eyes widened, and he scanned the room, his chest heaving.

Seeing Wang Wuyin still massaging himself and breathing heavily, not showing any sign of remorse, Teacher Ni became even angrier. She pointed to the door with her pointer and said more sternly, "What are you waiting for? Go stand outside the classroom and wake up from your nap..."

After saying this, Teacher Ni ignored Wang Wuyin and picked up the chalk, turning back to the blackboard to continue her lesson. "Class, let's continue with the solution to this problem. This is a diagram of high-voltage power transmission from a small power station. The generator's output power and voltage are constant, and the resistance of the transmission lines is unchanged. The voltages at the primary and secondary coils of the step-up transformer are U1 and U2, respectively..."

Zhu Yuxin stuck out his tongue at Wang Wuyin.

Wang Wuyin said nothing. He glanced around the classroom, calmed his breathing, and quickly righted his fallen desk, picking up the scattered books. Without a word, he walked out of the classroom and stood in the corridor outside the door, looking at everything with a complex expression.

In the corridor outside the classroom, portraits of scientists like Einstein and Zu Chongzhi hung on the walls. Their classroom was on the second floor of the high school building, offering a view of the school's auxiliary playground. It was already afternoon, and a few classes were having physical education. Some students were running, and others were playing basketball. Blue and green sports uniforms were everywhere. From the junior high school building, faint reading voices could be heard. In the garden outside their classroom, flowers were blooming, and birds were chirping, adding to the tranquility of the campus.

Wang Wuyin turned his head and looked at the class sign hanging by the classroom door. The white wooden sign with the words "Grade 12, Class 1" was very eye-catching. He looked down at himself, wearing a blue and green school uniform and a pair of very old Anta sports shoes. The left shoe had a visible tear, and Wang Wuyin remembered that these shoes were not his but his cousin's, which his aunt had given him after his cousin no longer wanted them.

As Wang Wuyin continued to observe his surroundings, the scenes before him began to merge with his memories from over thirty years ago. The long-buried memories of his youth were thawing like spring ice, coming to life, and the world around him became vibrant.

After confirming this multiple times, Wang Wuyin emerged from his initial confusion and shock, accepting the reality before him. Yes, he had returned to over thirty years ago, to his high school days. At this time, the crisis that would determine the fate and future of humanity had not yet fully erupted. Everyone was looking forward to the future, and everything was beautiful. Few people believed that a hidden force was already eyeing humanity, preparing to launch a war. Everything was so bright and sunny, and these days were as precious as gold.

The scenes before him made Wang Wuyin feel a bit intoxicated. He greedily looked at the vibrant scenes outside the classroom, watching the young students running and playing on the playground. Unconsciously, tears streamed down his face. He hadn't seen such ordinary scenes in nearly thirty years.

Why was he here? Why had he come back to over thirty years ago?

Wang Wuyin thought of the strange pearl he had found in the cave. He remembered that the last thing he saw before losing consciousness was the small pearl shooting toward his forehead. Then everything went black, and when he woke up, he was here, as if reborn...

Everything before him was so real, constantly stimulating his senses. In contrast, the memories in his mind seemed like a dream.
