The clock made Li Su open her eyes early and looked at the time. It should be past six in the morning. She turned her head to look at Wang Yao, who was sleeping soundly with her little face flushed. She was very cute.

Li Su couldn’t help but lean over and kiss her face.

Li Su got out of the tent and felt a little cold. She took a few sets of down jackets from her space. She was about to wash up, but she saw Jiang Fang standing at the window with a serious face. “What’s wrong?” Li Su walked over and asked softly.

Jiang Fang motioned her to look out the window. Li Su looked over and her eyes widened. The snow was white outside, but it was not dawn. The amount of snow was overwhelming, and it was still falling down.

It was only April and it was snowing!

Li Su and Jiang Fang glanced at each other and they couldn’t help but see worry in each other’s eyes. This damn weather!

“It seems that we have to stay here for a while longer. We have to wait until the snow stops before we can continue!” Jiang Fang said softly.

Li Su nodded. “I have thermal underwear and other things in my space. Everyone should put them on!” Right now, that was all there was to it.

They didn’t expect that this heavy snow had not stopped for over a month. Because of the space, Jiang Fang and others were living good lives. They had nothing to do but build a fire, roast meat to eat, and eat hot pot. They were just a few people gathered around, watching cartoons and laughing.

It was reminiscent of the good times. Sometimes they forgot that they were in the apocalypse now.

Until one day, when they were roasting sweet potatoes around the fire, there was suddenly a loud crashing sound from outside the door! And another, and another! There were also roars from time to time. Because it was snowing outside, everything was quiet, so the sound resonated!

Jiang Fang stood up immediately. Li Su quickly hid Wang Yao behind her, holding the Tang knife in her hand.

Jiang Xiaoya also put down the half-eaten sweet potato in her hand, wiped her mouth, and stood by the door.

Jiang Fang gathered a thunderbolt with one hand, and condensed a water ball into an ice hammer with the other. He nodded to Jiang Xiaoya.

Jiang Xiaoya understood. The roller door was abruptly opened. Just as a black figure was about to come in, it was forced out by Jiang Xiaoya’s fire.

Jiang Fang jumped out, “Xiaoya, close the door! Go!”

Jiang Xiaoya pulled down the rolling gate, but someone jumped out. “A-Fang, I’ll help you!” She could clearly see that the shadow was a mutated wild cat! The figure was larger than that of a normal cat, and it wasn’t just one. There were a lot!

It seemed that the heavy snow for the past few days had caused this group of mutated wild cats to have no food. They had to brave the heavy snow to come out for food, and the fragrance from their place attracted the group of wild cats.

Wasn’t it just a few wild cats? What was there to be afraid of?! Jiang Xiaoya comforted herself like this. The rolling gate rang again behind her and Li Su also got out of the door. Jiang Xiaoya saw that she carried Wang Yao on her back and came out with a Tang knife.

“Older sister, what are you doing out here? Hurry back! It’s just a few wild cats. A-Fang and I can deal with it!” Jiang Xiaoya had already started fighting with the mutant cat in front of him. When Jiang Xiaoya saw this, she quickly produced fireballs.

Li Su slashed at them with a knife and a mutant cat was split in half. “It’s alright. Leave me alone. Just concentrate!”

Although they were just mutant cats, it took a lot of effort for the three of them to kill them all. When they finished, they stood at the door panting heavily. Jiang Xiaoya was afraid that their bodies would attract mutant beasts, so she wanted to set fire to them. Jiang Fang stopped her.

“No, they’re not attracted by the smell. I’ll dig a hole and find a place to bury them! Go and rest first!” Jiang Fang said.

Jiang Xiaoya thought about it too. If it didn’t burn, then it would turn into barbecue, which would attract more mutant beasts. “Then be careful. Come back quickly!”

Jiang Xiaoya and Li Su went in. Li Su put down Wang Yao and took off the helmet. “Okay, you can open your eyes.”

Wang Yao opened her eyes obediently. “Mum, were you fighting monsters just now?”

“Yaoyao is right. She was just fighting monsters!” Jiang Xiaoya said with a smile. Cats were cute little animals. She had raised a few cats before. If this was before the apocalypse, someone on the internet would probably scold them for abusing cats!

“Even cats have mutated, so it is likely other animals have too! It seems that those things written about the apocalypse are all coming true!” Li Su said with emotion.

Jiang Xiaoya immediately became interested. “Older Sister, do you also like to watch things set in an apocalypse? I tried to watch it before, but unfortunately, the male leads in there were too bad. I didn’t like them, so I didn’t continue to watch it. Is it true that people with supernatural abilities are infertile? Wouldn’t that save money? Then, will humans become extinct?”

“Probably not! Humans can’t go extinct. Humans are so smart, so they will definitely come up with a way.” Li Su said with a smile.

“That’s true. But in an apocalypse, it is said that the bodies of the superhumans have been specially modified, so they will live longer than ordinary people. I don’t know if it is true. If so, then we will live forever! I don’t want to,” Jiang Xiaoya said.

Li Su smiled. Yes, the life expectancy of a superhuman in the end of the world was indeed longer than that of the average person, but she is not an ability user, so there was no need to worry about this problem.

After a while, Jiang Fang knocked on the door and came back.

“Come here quickly and warm up next to the fire.” Jiang Xiaoya was very distressed when she saw that his body was covered with snow. She hurried over to help him clean the snow off his body.

“Have a coffee!” Li Su handed over a cup of coffee. Jiang Fang took it.

“Let’s eat less cooked food in the future, just in case the fragrance attracts more mutant beasts.” Jiang Fang took a sip of coffee.

Li Su nodded. “Okay, I still have a lot of bread, cakes, rice balls, sushi, and other things in my space. Let’s add some hot water.”

Jiang Xiaoya grimaced. “Can’t we even eat instant noodles?”

Jiang Fang touched her head. How could Xiaoya eat junk food like instant noodles in the past? Now, even instant noodles were good. “Occasionally you can still have a meal.”

Jiang Xiaoya immediately smiled happily and Jiang Fang also laughed. How could he be willing to let her be wronged?!

Wang Yao held the milk and drank it in small sips. At this time, she also forgot to drink the milk, and stared at Jiang Fang and Jiang Xiaoya in a daze.

Jiang Xiaoya was a little embarrassed when she saw Wang Yao’s eyes and gently pushed Jiang Fang.

Li Su held back her smile and took out the tablet. “Yaoyao, are you full? When we’re done, let’s brush our teeth and wash our face, then play number games in the tent, okay?”

Wang Yao’s attention was immediately diverted, and she obediently followed Li Su to wash up. Then, the mother and daughter got into the tent, leaving space for the young couple.

Jiang Xiaoya cuddled in Jiang Fang’s arms. The two of them leaned together. Even if they didn’t speak, they looked at each other and smiled. It was sweet and they were unaware of the passage of time.

Li Su woke up and found that the two people outside were still chatting. She looked at the time, walked out of the tent, and cleared her throat. “It’s getting late. You guys should also go and rest. I’ll take watch in the second half of the night!”

Only then did Jiang Fang and Jiang Xiaoya realize that a long time had passed. Jiang Xiaoya blushed slightly and stood up first.

Jiang Fang also stood up. “I’ll go out and check.” He was going to check the surroundings and check the roof, just in case the snow was too thick and crushed the roof.

“Okay, be careful,” Jiang Xiaoya said with a blushing face.

After a while, the two got into the tent. Li Su turned her head to look over and smiled.

Suddenly, one day, the snow stopped. The long-lost sun finally came out, and the temperature suddenly rose. The snow melted quickly and it was muddy outside. Despite this, Jiang Fang and the others were still ready to set off. Otherwise, they would be delayed and they would not know when they would be able to leave here.

“What the hell is with this weather? In one day, it changed from winter to summer! Older sister, do you have sunscreen in your space? The sun is so strong. What if you get sunburned?” Jiang Xiaoya muttered.

Li Su shook her head. Sunscreen. She really wasn’t prepared for this. Her space was full of necessities such as food and clothes, and there was really no sunscreen. At most, there were a few bottles of baby cream.

Jiang Fang smiled helplessly. “I have some in my space.” He knew that Xiaoya loved beauty, so before the end of the world, he stocked up a lot of skin care products and cosmetics in his space. Even in the apocalypse, he had to satisfy Xiaoya’s heart.

“I didn’t prepare sunscreen, but I did prepare sun clothes, do you want them?” Li Su thought for a while and said.

“Yes! As the saying goes, raising children does not prevent old age, but sun protection can prevent old age. Older sister, you and Yaoyao should use them. “Jiang Xiaoya put sunscreen on her white thighs while wearing sun clothes.

“Actually, don’t you just need to wear trousers?” Li Su smiled when she saw that she was wearing sunscreen all over.

“That’s not good. It’s so hot! Shorts and short sleeves are what summer should look like, right?” Jiang Xiaoya asked with a smile.

Jiang Fang looked at her long white and slender legs and smiled. “Yes! You are right!” He liked such an enthusiastic and unrestrained Xiaoya!

Li Su shook her head and smiled. She changed Wang Yao into a light sports suit, a hat, mask, put on sunscreen, and more. She also put on a few ice-cold stickers to cool her down.

Jiang Fang saw that the weather was really hot outside. The adults were okay and could bear it, but Wang Yao was still young. Jiang Fang took a bottle of mineral water, used his ability to condense it into ice, and handed it to Wang Yao. “Here, hold it in your hand to cool down. You can drink it even when it’s frozen.”

“A-Fang, I want it too! It would be even better if there was ice cream,” Jiang Xiaoya said brightly.

Jiang Fang shook his head. “No, you forgot. Yours is coming soon, so you can’t eat cold food! You’ll get a stomach ache again.”

Jiang Xiaoya looked disappointed.

Seeing this, Wang Yao ran to Jiang Xiaoya and handed her the ice water in her hand. “Auntie, here it is. Don’t get angry.”

Jiang Xiaoya knew that Jiang Fang was doing it for her good, so she wouldn’t be angry, but Wang Yao was so cute. She was so happy. She reached out and hugged Wang Yao. “Okay, auntie will listen to Yaoyao. Our Yaoyao is so nice!”

Jiang Fang watched this scene with a smile. They were almost ready. “Let’s go! Let’s go!”
