Chapter 304 – Raising A Child In An Apocalypse (part 13)

When they were about to reach his destination, Major Cheng’s car suddenly overtook them. Jiang Fang saw this and stopped the car on the side of the road.

Major General Cheng got out of the car, looking like he had something to say. Jiang Fang also got out of the car and the two talked on the side of the road for a long time.

Then, Jiang Fang got into the car, turned around, and drove away in the opposite direction.

They quickly got into the new car and drove away.

In the end, they had to go back angrily.

After Major Cheng listened, he said, “They took the car out of the space again?” So, that woman’s space was far more than what they told them! A car could be easily put inside the space.

He received an order from Major General Zhao, asking them to kill Jiang Fang and his party and to not let them leave alive! Therefore, Major Cheng had a showdown with Jiang Fang before reaching his destination. Originally, he wanted to anger Jiang Fang, and then act in defense as a justification. He didn’t expect that Jiang Fang would endure it.

Fortunately, Major Cheng made preparations before and put barricades on the road. His intent was to attack them from behind when they got out of the car to change the tires. He didn’t expect that they would just exchange the car for the one in the space!

“Major, do we catch up?”

Major Cheng shook his head. “No. Don’t forget what our mission is for this trip.” He didn’t approve of letting go of Jiang Fang, but General Zhao was saddened by Zhao Yingnan’s death and insisted on doing so. Except for the fifteen space ability users, the rest of the ability users were killed and injured.
