Seeing Dwey here, Sirius Black bared his teeth, looking just like a big dog threatening an intruder who had invaded his territory.
This place does not welcome Dwey.
Dwey took out a piece of chocolate from his clothes and broke it into pieces.
Half for himself, half for Black.
He carefully held the chocolate pieces in his hands and put them into his mouth.
The taste was the most delicious in the world.
Tasting the deliciousness, Dwey's mood calmed down a lot.
"Last year," Dwey said, "your godson almost got expelled from Hogwarts for using magic in front of Muggles. Didn't you know about this?
Do you think he is a well-behaved child?
He looks so much like James Potter. Do you think James Potter was a well-behaved person, Sirius?
Following in his father's footsteps, Sirius Black, he is not a quiet person. Isn't it much more likely to find him here than elsewhere?"
Sirius Black took the chocolate.
Big dogs can't eat chocolate.
But Black can.
"So, you're here to try your luck."
He was half-believing Dwey.
"Exactly, that's right."
Dwey said affirmatively.
As he spoke, two headlights tore through the darkness.
A car turned onto the street, the windows open, and the people inside were complaining wildly.
"Damn it, why are the streetlights out!"
Someone shouted loudly from the car, and a dog was barking wildly in the backseat.
Dwey and Sirius Black disappeared into the darkness, only re-emerging after the car had passed.
"It's them."
Sirius recognized the people getting out of the car, his eyes filled with malice, and he was grinding his teeth.
The Dursleys got out of the car.
They had just gone to pick up Aunt Marge from the countryside.
Dwey watched as a woman, who in both size and appearance resembled Aunt Petunia, got out of the car. She looked very happy, hugging Dudley and kissing him repeatedly.
"Where's that little brat? What's his name, Harry, right?"
Aunt Marge shouted loudly, completely disregarding Petunia's feelings.
Dwey preemptively grabbed Sirius Black.
"You can't tear them apart, Black," Dwey said seriously, "It won't change anything for your godson. Things will only get worse, Black."
Dwey warned in advance.
Black was very strong, and Dwey could hardly control this big man.
Just as Dwey was thinking about using an Avada Kedavra to calm Sirius down, Sirius stopped.
"How can they treat Harry like this! How can they speak about James and Lily like this!"
Sirius growled in a low voice.
He looked like he was about to turn into a big dog and charge out.
Aunt Marge's bulldog "woofed" and curiously looked over, tilting its head.
"Calm down, Sirius Black. If you kill them, how will you face Harry Potter in the future?
'Hi, Harry, I'm Sirius Black, I killed your aunt and uncle, nice to meet you.' Does that sound cool to you?"
Dwey roared in his ear.
He had to hold Sirius Black around the waist, as this big man was extremely difficult to handle even without transforming.
There was no doubt that Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia's abuse of little Harry was comprehensive and multifaceted, but that didn't mean Sirius could rush over and tear them apart.
He could take away their custody, but he couldn't tear them apart.
That would attract a lot of Ministry of Magic elites.
Dwey couldn't let Sirius Black do that.
Dwey was fishing.
He wanted two small fish, not elite Aurors. Whether it was Kingsley or Mad-Eye Moody, they were not opponents he could handle at this stage.
"Alright, alright, I understand. You can let me go."
Hearing this, Sirius Black calmed down a bit. He panted heavily, sitting on the ground, feeling regretful.
Because of his mistake, Harry had suffered so much over the years.
Dwey, on the other hand, stared intently at Number 4 Privet Drive.
Aunt Marge's voice was very loud, and Dwey and Sirius Black stealthily approached Uncle Vernon's house. Dwey deliberately avoided nearby eyes to ensure they wouldn't be discovered.
If he remembered correctly, there was a Squib old lady nearby who was Dumbledore's informant.
He was certain that if Dumbledore were here, neither he nor Sirius Black would stand a chance.
He alone wouldn't attract Dumbledore, but with Sirius Black, it was a different story.
The two of them heard Aunt Marge's roar from the dining room, mixed with the barking of the dog called Ripper, making the scene quite chaotic.
"So, are you still here?" Aunt Marge's voice, which Dwey and Sirius Black could hear from outside, asked rudely, "Are you still here?"
She was probably asking Harry Potter.
Harry Potter responded, and Dwey guessed he said "yes."
This answer enraged Aunt Marge.
"Don't answer with that insolent tone!
Vernon and Petunia were kind enough to take you in, they've been so good to you!
If I were in their place, if someone left you on my doorstep, I would have sent you to an orphanage!
Do you understand?
So, you should be humble, humble, do you understand?
We saved you, you little brat, don't look at me with that look!"
Hearing Aunt Marge's tirade, Dwey looked at Sirius Black again.
He wasn't worried that Harry Potter would use an "Avada Kedavra" on his aunt; he was afraid that Sirius Black would be provoked by Marge and charge in, biting everyone to death.
But when he turned around, he saw Sirius Black's bright eyes.
He no longer looked like he wanted to tear the Dursleys apart.
He looked like he had made a decision.
Turning to Dwey, Sirius Black nervously licked his lips and said hesitantly, "You know, if I catch Peter Pettigrew soon, can I clear my name?
Those thirteen lives, joining the Dark Lord, none of that was me.
Wouldn't that prove my innocence?
Then, with a house, enough money, and as a free man, could I apply to change Harry Potter's guardianship?
Yes, don't look at me like that. I am his godfather, he is my godson, I have the right to be his guardian."
Sirius Black said, looking hopefully at Dwey, wanting to hear a "yes."
Dwey pondered for a moment and said, "It seems feasible."
"That's good, that's good."
Sirius Black said with a sense of longing. He was looking at Dwey, but Dwey could see that Sirius Black's gaze was already distant.
He was imagining a beautiful future.
Instinctively, Dwey wanted to slap him to wake him up.
Such beautiful memories would attract Dementors.
But quickly, Dwey realized this wasn't Azkaban.
Letting him daydream was fine, at least it would prevent him from doing something rash.
He turned his gaze to the house—inside, a scream echoed. If Dwey's guess was correct, it was Harry Potter, thoroughly enraged by his Aunt Marge, losing control of his magic and turning her into a balloon!
Wandless magic.
The commotion from the house spread out. After a while, Dwey saw Harry Potter, the famous figure in the wizarding world, storm out of the house in a rage.
He faced away from the street, wand in hand, and was pulling a large trunk.
Uncle Vernon, looking like a standing bear, rushed out of the door, both fearful and angry, staring at Harry Potter.
"Come back, I want you to fix this!"
He shouted at Harry, spittle flying.
Harry Potter pointed his wand at his uncle and said firmly, "No."
He said resolutely, "I'm leaving, I'm fed up with you! I won't fix this."
He turned his head resolutely and walked into the darkness!
Dwey patted Sirius, only to pat a big black dog.
The big black dog looked at Dwey and disappeared into the darkness.
