"Korean gangster godfather, Kim Tae-chun!"

After completing his investigation, Kim Yun-ho recalled the information about Kim Tae-chun.

Kim Tae-chun, male, 58 years old.

In the 1980s, his name was synonymous with the Korean underworld.

Kim Tae-chun had a significant impact on the development of the Korean underworld. The knives and baseball bats commonly used in gang fights today were popularized during his era. The organizational structure of the gangs was also perfected under his leadership.

In 1975, at the age of 25, Kim Tae-chun joined the "Western Gang" in Gwangju, South Korea, and became the action captain.

Two years later, the "underling-overlord incident" at the North Korean hotel nightclub made him famous and secured his position as the top figure in the Korean underworld.

By the end of 1977, Kim Tae-chun established his own gang in Seoul, the "Pan-Western Gang," which later became one of the three major gangs in Korea.

In 1986, Kim Tae-chun was sentenced to 10 years in prison for involvement in a violent incident but was released early due to illness.

After his release, Kim Tae-chun did not reform but instead returned to his old ways. In 1990, he formed the "New Friendship Association" and was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 1992 for forming a gang.

In late 2006, five years after his second release, Kim Tae-chun was found guilty of threatening Korean actor Kwon Sang-woo but escaped legal punishment in the second trial.

In early 2007, Kim Tae-chun was sentenced to three years in prison for a serious assault case and has been serving his sentence in Gangnam Prison, Seoul, ever since.

After his third imprisonment, Kim Tae-chun began to embrace Christianity in prison and gradually became a devout Christian over the course of a year.

All this information was found by Kim Yun-ho on the internal network of the prosecution office.

The cases involving Kim Tae-chun that circulated on the internet were even more varied and numerous, but most of them were not prosecuted due to lack of evidence.

Even so, the criminal files on Kim Tae-chun filled a whole cart.

Seeing Shin Dong-hae's dazed expression, Kim Yun-ho was furious: "Are you daydreaming? Hurry up and organize them!"

He was under a lot of pressure.

Although he had decided to test the depth of the big pit that was Kim Tae-chun, his future was at stake, and he couldn't afford to be careless.

He had to go all out to face the machinations of the big shots and this crisis.

Watching Shin Dong-hae move the files one by one to his seat, eventually leaving no space to stand, Kim Yun-ho helplessly shook his head and went over to help.

There was no choice; Kim Tae-chun's cases were just too numerous. If Shin Dong-hae had to organize them alone, it would take forever.

In the end, Song Eun-ji also joined in to help.

The three of them worked together to organize and summarize the main information of the cases, focusing on Kim Tae-chun's motives, methods, and victims.

On the other side, Yoon Guk-hong was responsible for investigating Kim Tae-chun's personal information.

Since most of this information was not recorded, and Kim Yun-ho required a comprehensive collection, he had to use his personal connections: contacting former colleagues in the police force and members of related organizations to gather information on Kim Tae-chun.

Time flew by as they worked, and before they knew it, it was past lunchtime.

Taking a break to drink water, Kim Yun-ho realized that no one had eaten lunch and scolded Lee Hye-na, who was reading a magazine:

"Lee Hye-na, as the secretary of this team, your duty includes taking care of everyone's meals. Everyone is working and doesn't have time to tell you, so why didn't you order lunch for everyone?"

Lee Hye-na quickly put down her fashion magazine and pouted, saying, "I thought you would rest soon and go out to eat together."

At this point, with such a tight schedule, who had time to go out to eat? This girl really needed to use her head.

Kim Yun-ho was really frustrated with Lee Hye-na.

"Now, go and order some takeout. Don't buy anything that takes a long time to prepare. Hurry back."

Reluctantly, Kim Yun-ho had to teach Lee Hye-na how to do her job as a secretary.

"Okay... I'll go. By the way, does anyone need coffee or anything?" Lee Hye-na, imitating Song Eun-ji, picked up a pen and paper to record everyone's needs.

However, everyone was busy working and ignored Lee Hye-na's question.

Kim Yun-ho waved his hand at Lee Hye-na, telling her to hurry up and not waste time. Then he returned to his work.

Within half an hour, Lee Hye-na returned with a pile of food.

This time, Kim Yun-ho nodded, acknowledging her effort.

But when Lee Hye-na laid out the food on the table, Kim Yun-ho's face turned green.

Seaweed rolls, sweet radish sushi, pear kimchi, cabbage kimchi, vegetable salad, fruit salad, rose tofu, and seaweed soup.

There were many varieties, but none of them were substantial.

Seeing Shin Dong-hae and the others staring at each other, hesitant to eat, Kim Yun-ho sighed and picked up a piece of tofu, asking, "Secretary Lee Hye-na, do you really expect us to have lunch with this?"

Lee Hye-na, busy distributing utensils, replied without noticing, "Yes, I bought these from the entrance. They were quick and convenient. Didn't I follow your instructions to be quick?"

"Also, don't think these things are not nutritious. I saw how hard everyone was working and wanted to give you a boost."

"A boost?... With this?"

Kim Yun-ho picked up a piece of pear and examined it carefully.

Sigh.

Forget it, let's eat. Something is better than nothing.

"Come on, everyone, have some. We still have work in the afternoon. We need to replenish our energy. We'll have something better for dinner." Kim Yun-ho encouraged the others to start eating.

After a few quick bites, the three men, including Kim Yun-ho, finished their lunch and returned to work.

Song Eun-ji ate more slowly, but it didn't take her long either. She helped Lee Hye-na clean up and then went back to work.

Looking at the mostly untouched food, Lee Hye-na pouted and grumbled, "Really, you made me rush to buy lunch, but then you don't eat it. This is just playing with me."

"Hmph, if you don't eat, I will." Lee Hye-na picked out the vegetables and fruits and slowly ate them by herself.

In the afternoon, Yoon Guk-hong contacted several former gang members and went out to meet them to gather information on Kim Tae-chun.

Kim Yun-ho and the other two stayed in the office to continue organizing and summarizing the files.

By 6 PM, they had "eliminated" half of the large stack of files from the morning.

Glancing at the clock, Kim Yun-ho instructed Lee Hye-na, who was resting on the table:

"Secretary Lee Hye-na, please order dinner, something more substantial."

Having learned from the morning, Kim Yun-ho reminded Lee Hye-na in advance to avoid another mistake.

"Yes, Prosecutor Kim, I've already booked a nice barbecue restaurant."

Lee Hye-na noticed that everyone was not interested in vegetarian food at lunch, so she spent the afternoon looking for a good barbecue place to make up for it.

Unfortunately, she made another mistake.

Hearing this, Kim Yun-ho's face turned green with anger.

You're kidding! Can't you see everyone is working hard? Who has time to go out for barbecue!

Kim Yun-ho was so frustrated with Lee Hye-na that he had no words.

"Prosecutor Kim, I know of a good restaurant nearby. I'll go and buy some food." Song Eun-ji, pushing her glasses, suggested.

"Thank you." Kim Yun-ho, feeling a bit relieved, replied politely.

Seeing someone else going to buy food, Lee Hye-na excitedly came to Kim Yun-ho, speaking in a cloying voice, "Prosecutor Kim, since someone is going to buy food, can I go home now?"

As she spoke, she deliberately looked at the clock on the wall, hinting to Kim Yun-ho: It's 6 PM, time to go home.

"Ha ha..." Kim Yun-ho had nothing to say, feeling unlucky to have such a secretary: "You can go home."

"Yay." Lee Hye-na was secretly pleased and smiled happily, "Thank you. Ha ha, I'm off. You work hard."

She bowed to Kim Yun-ho, picked up her bag, and swayed out of the office.

Muttering to herself, "Shopping, go go go."
