On the plane, Xia Weilan was bursting with energy thanks to the good sleep last night. However, Mo Beichen immediately dozed off after boarding the plane because he had been extremely hard working for the past two days.

Xia Weilan didn’t try to wake him up. She searched around her bag for her phone but found a box.

She then recalled that it was the treasure map from Old Master Xia. Since she had some time to kill, she took out the map and began studying it.

A few circles and triangles were scribbled on the map. There were also mountains without names on the map. The area on the map was too condense and it was simply impossible to tell where the geographical location that the map is referring to.

She took a picture of the map and shared it to the group chat, “Can anyone figure out where this is?”

Nan Fengyan created the group chat two days ago. Rui Li, Mo Beichen and Xia Weilan were in the group.

As soon as the message went out, Xia Weilan heard Mo Beichen’s phone’s notification tone. Luckily it didn’t wake him up.

Xia Weilan saw the air stewardess walking over to do pre-departure checks and quickly put away her phone.

She was surprised when she caught a glimpse of Mo Beichen’s phone screen because displayed on the lit screen showed the ID of ‘Dearest Wife’.

She never thought that Mo Beichen would assign such an ID for her. She found herself lost in thoughts as she stared at his handsome face.

The holiday resort area was located in the rural area. Nearby the area were farms, mountains and rivers. The air was really clean.

It was already evening when they reached the villa.

Mo Beichen went into the villa . He unpacked the luggage and got Xia Weilan to sit on the couch while he fetched her a pillow and some fruits.

“Sit here and watch some TV while I prepare dinner.”

Xia Weilan never thought that Mo Beichen could cook. She stared at Mo Beichen in surprise. He secretly let out a smile and went to the backyard to pluck some fresh vegetables.

Xia Weilan watched as Mo Beichen got busy around the kitchen. She couldn’t help but stare blankly at the kitchen. She couldn’t help wondering if the high and mighty Mo Beichen really can really cook. Could it be that this is the first time that he cooked? If that’s the case, then she should make some compliments and not put his efforts into a waste.

She even set her heart that if Mo Beichen wasn’t able to cook something delicious, she would still give him all her support and finish that food.

At this moment, fragrant smells slowly drifted from the kitchen. Xia Weilan took a deep breath and found that it was really pleasant!

‘Ding’ the doorbell suddenly rang. Xia Weilan quickly went to open the door to find a delivery boy standing before the door. He passed a bouquet of flowers to her and said, “Are you Miss Xia Weilan? Can you sign on the receiving end?”

Xia Weilan turned around to look at Mo Beichen who was still busy in the kitchen. She felt the sweetness flowing in her heart. She quickly dropped her signature and went inside the house with the flowers.

At this moment, Mo Beichen was walking out from the kitchen holding some dishes. He was puzzled when he saw Xia Weilan holding a bouquet of flowers happily.

“Who is that from?” He asked as he stared at her with an odd look.

Xia Weilan’s happy expression froze. She stared at Mo Beichen and stared at the flowers in her hand. She opened the greeting card that came with the flower, ‘From the first time I had my eyes on you, I knew how it felt to fall in love at first sight. I Love You, Xia Weilan.’

Xia Weilan felt like she must be dreaming. She couldn’t understand what was going on. With the blink of an eye, the greeting card in her hand was snatched away and Mo Beichen’s face grew darker as he read the content of the card.

“Hubby, I have no idea who is playing a prank on me!” Xia Weilan quickly explained.

Mo Beichen crushed the card and said to Xia Weilan in a deep voice, “Give me a second.”

He then called a number.

“Nan Fengyan, are you really that bored? Do you think this is funny?”

“What’s going on, Mo-ge? I didn’t do anything.” Nan Fengyan replied in confusion.

Mo Beichen asked if it was him who sent those flowers to Xia Weilan. Nan Fengyan immediately panicked, “Mo-ge, she’s my sister-in-law. Why would I send her flowers? Besides, I must be out of my mind if I do such a thing during your honeymoon trip. I’m not that insensible.”

Mo Beichen went silent for a while and hung up.

“Let’s eat!” Mo Beichen returned to the living room and threw the flowers into the trash can. He was still furious.

A table of delicious food was presented before her, but Xia Weilan was only able to eat a few mouthfuls. She finally couldn’t help but asked, “Hubby, could it be that someone is setting up a trap for us? You would fall into the trap if you got angry.”

In fact, Mo Beichen was well aware of the situation. But the moment he thought about someone yearning for his wife, he couldn’t help but got furious.

“I’m alright.” Mo Beichen said as he lifted his glass of red wine and had a toast with Xia Weilan.

And just like that, the both of them forgot what happened earlier on. That evening, they took a stroll at the field. They were surrounded with green fields and dragonflies flew past them from time to time.

The breeze was blowing onto them gently. They were holding hands, enjoying the quiet walk as they put the bustling city lifestyle behind them. Suddenly, everything around them was quiet and even the pace of life had gotten slower.

They spent the next two days relaxing. The second stop of their honeymoon was to watch the Polar Light at the North Pole.

That evening, on top of the quiet mountains, Mo Beichen and Xia Weilan sat close together. At midnight, multi-color light beams appeared across the sky.

Xia Weilan’s eyes brightened as she was stunned by the scenery in front of her eyes.

At this moment, Mo Beichen secretly took out a ring from his pocket, and just when Xia Weilan was at her happiest moment, he presented the ring in front of her.

A sparkling item suddenly appeared in front of Xia Weilan’s eyes. She blinked her eyes and stared at Mo Beichen but found that he was staring at her with a serious look on his face.

“Mrs Mo, this is the ring that I owe you. We’ll do the wedding ceremony after you graduate.”

He lifted her hand and put on the ring for her.

The next second, he lowered his head and planted a warm kiss on her lips.

Xia Weilan’s heart almost jumped out from her throat.

She never expected that Mo Beichen would do so many romantic actions in these past few days. She suddenly felt that the sky was spinning and her head was also spinning with happiness.

“Mrs Mo!” Mo Beichen finally managed to wake her after a long while.

“Huh?” Xia Weilan, who was leaning in his arms, sat upright.

“Your phone kept ringing.” Mo Beichen looked at her helplessly.

Xia Weilan quickly took out her phone and saw that there were a few new messages.

‘I’ve been thinking about you these days.’

‘When are you coming back?’

‘Why don’t I come to look for you?’

There were about twenty messages. Xia Weilan only took a glance and her expression sank. She quickly turned off the phone’s screen and secretly lifted her eyes to look at Mo Beichen. Luckily it seemed that Mo Beichen didn’t notice anything and kept staring at the night sky.

She let out a sigh of relief. She had no idea who was playing a prank with her.
