Xia Ruolin walked out of the office. She stepped in front of Xia Weilan, gritted her teeth and said, “How dare you frame me! I won’t let you get away with this!”

Xia Weilan felt that Xia Ruolin didn’t seem to be lying. Her eyes flashed with a moment of hesitation, but she chose to keep quiet.

That afternoon, a sensational event unfolded in the company. Manager Xue and Deputy Manager Xia of the project department were dismissed. The reason announced was because of dereliction of duty.

For a moment, the employees of the Xia Group were all speculating whether Xia Weilan was taking actions against dissidents after appointed as the intern chairman.

“Dad, Xia Weilan framed me.” Xia Ruolin said.

“You mean Xia Weilan stole the money in order to frame us?” Xue Zhiqing said angrily.

“I’m busy!” Old Master Xia’s voice came from inside. He still sounded a little angry.

“Grandpa! Don’t let yourself go hungry. It’s my bad. But you still have to eat!” Xia Ruolin said cautiously.

“Grandpa, I was wrong. Please let me in.” Xia Ruolin stood still at the door.

“Come in!”

Xia Ruolin let out a sigh of relief and walked in with the dinner.

In the study, the old master sat at the desk with a document that he just put down in front of him. Xia Ruolin walked to the table.

“Grandpa, please eat something first” Xia Ruolin put aside the file in front of him and placed the food in front of him.

After leaving the study, Xia Ruolin returned to the hall. Xue Zhiqing couldn’t even eat, and he was waiting for her in the hall.

“What did the old master say?” Xue Zhiqing asked.

Xia Ruolin walked to the table, sat down and said in a low voice, “Grandpa wants to transfer the company to Xia Weilan!”

“What!” Xue Zhiqing eyes reddened from anxiety..

Xia Ruolin glanced at the servant standing not too far away and signaled Xue Zhiqing to talk inside the room instead.

Both of them walked into the room and closed the door.

Xue Zhiqing’s expression was hideous when he got out of the room.

But Xia Ruolin never came out again. During nightfall, Xia Ruolin suddenly opened the door and walked along the quiet corridor to Old Master Xia’s study.

She opened the door gently and sneaked in.

Xia Ruolin turned on the flashlight and walked to the table. She noticed that the document was no longer on the table. She crept to the side of the cabinet and gently opened the cabinet.

‘Tap’ The light in the room was suddenly turned on.

Old Master Xia stood at the entrance of the study, looking at Xia Ruolin with a heavy expression.

“Grandpa!” Xia Ruolin panicked and dropped the flashlight to the ground.

The two bodyguards stepped forward and surrounded Xia Ruolin.

“What are you looking for?” Old Master Xia squinted and stared at her.

“Grandpa, I…” Xia Ruolin was lost for words. She pressed her luck and finally said, “I just want to see if you’re really prejudiced and intend to pass the company to that wild girl! Grandpa, I’m also your granddaughter!”

The two bodyguards looked at Old Master Xia, waiting for his instructions.

“Is that the reason why you sneaked into my study? Since the day you were born, have I ever mistreated you? Even if I hand over the company to Weilan, I will still make sure that you don’t have to worry about money!” Old Master Xia stomped his cane hard on the floor, expressing his pain.
