An Shan dragged Xia Ruolin off the ground and left without saying a word.

“Let’s go.” Mo Beichen took Xia Weilan back to the private room.

As soon as Xia Weilan entered the room, she immediately saw Nan Fengyan sitting there. It seemed that he had already recovered and he was drinking happily with a few girls.

“Sister-in-law, you’re here!” Nan Fengyan immediately stood up and greeted her enthusiastically.

“You’ve recovered?” Xia Weilan asked.

“Yeap, almost. It no longer stops me from coming out to have some fun.” Nan Fengyan said while shaking his injured leg to prove that they really didn’t hurt.

The door opened again, and Rui Li walked in coolly wearing a casual outfit. She sat quietly beside Nan Fengyan.

Xia Weilan curiously looked at the two of them sitting next to each other. Nan Fengyan was not overly enthusiastic, while Rui Li was acting indifferently as usual. Xia Weilan blinked as she was getting very curious about the way they get along at this moment.

“Nan Fengyan, why is your subordinate acting so indifferently?” A young man asked in surprise.

Nan Fengyan looked at Rui Li, who was drinking by herself. Over the past few days, Rui Li had been following him around. Nan Fengyan told the others that she was his newly-recruited bodyguard.

“Mind your own business and drink your own wine!” Nan Fengyan refuted the young man and defended Rui Li.

At first, the young man thought of sitting next to Rui Li. He rubbed his nose and smiled playfully.

A few ladies who talked and laughed with Nan Fengyan just now noticed that Nan Fengyan suddenly behaved differently. He beside Rui Li, guarding her. They couldn’t help but feel jealous.

“Young lady, why haven’t I seen you before? What does your family do?” One of the girls asked Rui Li in a peculiar manner.

Rui Li replied faintly, “Ruixin Supermarket.”

“Haha. What sort of supermarket is that? I’ve never heard of such a supermarket.” The girl seized the opportunity to mock Rui Li.

Nan Fengyan’s expression changed. He glared at the girl. However, he didn’t expect Rui Li to answer, “It’s just some small business.”

The girl laughed delightfully.

A guy pulled the girl away and signaled her to stop talking. He felt that her comment earlier on was really rude.

Xia Weilan frowned. She pulled Rui Li to her side and asked, “Since when did you become his bodyguard? Did Nan Fengyan bully you?”

Nan Fengyan looked somewhat innocent, “How dare I bully her?”

Everyone present was surprised to see how much Nan Fengyan values Rui Li.

Nan Fengyan was usually playing along only. Since when did he really start caring about someone so much to actually speak in such a way?

Rui Li replied Xia Weilan dully, “To repay his gratitude!”

Xia Weilan understood immediately. She no longer said anything and started to drink with Rui Li.

Nan Fengyan felt the cold shoulder. At this moment, the girl who made the insensitive comment just now came beside Nan Fengyan again.

Nan Fengyan said to the girl, “Dare to drink with me?”

“Sure!” The girl thought Nan Fengyan liked her and immediately let out a passionate smile.

“Cheers!”

“Cheers!”

“Here, cheers!” Nan Fengyan kept filling the girl’s glass.

In a short while, the girl got really drunk and collapsed on the table.

“Get over here and carry this drunkard out!” Nan Fengyan instructed.

Rui Li assumed that Nan Fengyan was calling herself and she immediately put down her glass. Just when she was about to stand up, two men in black came in and carried the girl out.

Rui Li was unaware that Nan Fengyan brought other bodyguards with him tonight. She quickly concealed her expression. In fact, Nan Fengyan was never short of people at all. Every time she met with him, he always told her that he is short of helpers and so, he had to bring Rui Li along.

Once they had enough fun for the night, they finally left the bar.

Nan Fengyan left together with Rui Li, while Xia Weilan got in the car with Mo Beichen.

In the car, Xia Weilan was feeling a little giddy. Just when she was about to rest for a while, her expression suddenly changed and she sat upright immediately.

“What’s the matter?” Mo Beichen turned his head around and looked at her.

“Hubby!” Xia Weilan shifted her body slightly and said embarrassedly, “I’m having my menses.”

Mo Beichen stopped the car immediately and looked at her in surprise.

“Should I take you to the hotel first?”

“Yes.” Xia Weilan continued helplessly, “Can you help me to buy some sanitary pads? I forgot to bring some along with me today.”

Mo Beichen sent her to the nearest hotel quickly. He placed his coat around her waist.

Xia Weilan was blushing so hard as if blood could drip from her face. The hotel manager secretly stole a few glances at her.

“I’ll be back in a while!” Mo Beichen quickly walked out and closed the door.

Xia Weilan reluctantly entered the bathroom to change her clothes and waited for Mo Beichen.

Not long later, Mo Beichen’s voice was heard from outside the door, “I’ve bought them. Have a look!”

After Mo Beichen finished his words, he heard the bathroom door open with a click. A pair of dewy fair arms was revealed between the door gap and took the bag from Mo Beichen.
