“In that case,” Mo Beichen didn’t wait for his reply and continued, “I’ll suspend all cooperation with the Xia family.”

His statement was like an atomic bomb that came crashing down. The Xia family was totally taken aback by his words.

“Beichen, our family has maintained good friendship for several generations, can you please reconsider it?” 2nd Master Xia was breaking out in cold sweats and the corners of his mouth were twitching as he looked at Mo Beichen.

“Young Miss. Xia Ruolin had been throwing things in the room since she came back. Maybe she’s in a bad mood.” The butler said respectfully.

Xia Weilan raised her eyes to the second floor and noticed that the crashing sound was coming from inside of Xia Ruolin’s room. She narrowed her eyes and walked up to her room.

A few people stood outside Xia Ruolin’s room, and the butler immediately knocked on the bedroom door, “Miss Ruolin, open the door.”

Xia Ruolin opened the door angrily, “What do you want?! Can’t you see that I’m in a bad mood?”

Xia Ruolin didn’t expect to see Xia Weilan and Mo Beichen the moment she opened the door.

“Butler, please check what she broke. Come up with the actual price of those items and get. Xia Ruolin to pay for them. This is my place. It’s not a place that others can simply do as they please.”

Upon hearing this, the butler immediately walked into the room and checked on the extent of the damage.

Mo Beichen remained unmoved. He stood quietly behind Xia Weilan.

“Young Miss, six pieces of porcelain and some furniture were broken. It sums up to a total of one million dollars.” The butler came out with a price list after he came out from the room.

“Give it to her and keep an eye on her. Don’t let her leave without paying. Move out after you’ve cleared the payment!” Xia Weilan said without even looking at Xia Ruolin.

A few servants immediately rushed forward and stared at Xia Ruolin.

After the old master passed away, the Xia mansion belonged to Xia Weilan now. So, they only obey Xia Weilan.

“Miss Ruolin, I’m sorry. Please pay immediately!” The butler said solemnly.

Xia Ruolin really transferred a million dollars and stomped downstairs angrily.

The butler looked at Xia Ruolin’s back and felt a sudden sadness in his heart.

The old master certainly wouldn’t want to see how the two young misses fight with each other like this.
