The two pretty ladies blushed and immediately sized up Xia Weilan discreetly.

Xia Weilan noticed Mo Beichen coming in from the main entrance.

He was wearing a white dinner suit and as usual, he looked serious and difficult to get close to. He looked around the surroundings as soon as he entered and swept his eyes across all the girls in the banquet hall. He lifted his eyebrows when he didn’t catch sight of Xia Weilan.

Xia Weilan immediately took out her phone and sent Rui Li a text message, “Don’t tell Nan Fengyan who I am.”

“Don’t worry.” Rui Li’s reply made Xia Weilan let out a sigh of relief. She put down her phone and took a sip of her wine casually while smiling at the two beautiful ladies next to her.

Mo Beichen walked towards Nan Fengyan and Rui Li. Nan Fengyan said something to Mo Beichen and pointed in the direction of the center of the hall, only to find that the man before was no longer there.

Nan Fengyan asked Rui Li, “Where is your friend? Where did he go?”

Hearing this, Mo Beichen thought of a possibility. He immediately took a look around again. This time, he fixed his gaze on the figure dressed up as a man. When he saw Xia Weilan sitting in the corner chatting with beautiful ladies, he raised his eyebrows and walked toward her indifferently.

Xia Weilan felt her heart skip a beat and she suddenly felt like hiding. She stood up and wanted to walk away, but Mo Beichen was faster. He grabbed her wrist and said, “Where do you think you’re going?”

Both beautiful ladies stared at the two men pulling at each other in front of them with surprise.

They are both very attractive men.

Xia Weilan felt a little helpless. She felt that her disguise was a total failure because Mo Beichen was able to recognize her very quickly.

“Let go of me first and pay attention to your image.” Xia Weilan said to Mo Beichen. After all, she is now dressed as a man.

Mo Beichen never cared about what other people thought about him. He dragged Xia Weilan and made their way towards Nan Fengyan and Rui Li.

Nan Fengyan was still a little uncomfortable seeing Xia Weilan at this moment, “Rui Li is already my girlfriend.”

Nan Fengyan is declaring sovereignty.

Xia Weilan couldn’t help but continue asking in her disguised voice, “You still can’t tell who I am?”

When Mo Beichen walked over with Xia Weilan, something crossed Lin Beice’s mind and he recalled how intimate Mo Beicen is with Xia Weilan last night. He immediately knew that this person who dressed as a man was actually Mo Beichen’s wife.

“D*mn, Weilan! How dare you fool me?” Nan Fengyan flushed and pointed at Xia Weilan angrily.

Xia Weilan used Mo Beichen’s presence as a shield and said in confidence, “I’m not trying to fool you, I’m trying to help you. I’m helping you to get a beautiful girlfriend. Aren’t you going to thank me for helping out?”

Nan Fengyan couldn’t fight with Xia Weilan at all. He can’t really be angry with his sister-in-law, right? Mo Beichen would be the first one to disapprove of this.

“Okay, enough with this. Why are you all standing here? Go have a seat.” As the host, Lin Beice immediately led them to the couch beside them.

At first, Rui Li wanted to sit with Xia Weilan, but Nan Fengyan kept pulling her and made her sit beside him. Rui Li smiled helplessly and she was still not getting used to this.

“Nan Fengyan, you have been holding Rui Li’s hand the whole night. Seriously?” Xia Weilan teased.

“It’s been really hard to hold hands like this. It’s not even a warm-up yet.” Nan Fenyan said without a change in expression.

“Oh my, somebody is starting to get thick-skinned!” Xia Weilan was amazed.

Is it possible that Nan Fengyan is braver when he is behind a mask?

After all, Nobody would notice his expression.

Just as the few people here were celebrating Nan Fengyan’s happy event, somebody let out a scream and the crowds started to make a commotion.

“Someone fainted!”

Xia Weilan and Mo Beichen immediately walked toward the crowds not far away.

Xia Weilan saw a well-dressed woman lying on the ground motionless.

“What’s the matter?”

“This lady just took a few sips of wine and fainted all of a sudden.” Someone explained.

Rui Li quickly dialed the emergency number.

Xia Weilan and Mo Beichen helped the woman up from the ground and walked toward the exit.

Nan Fengyan and Lin Beice stayed to calm everybody down.

In the ambulance, Xia Weilan and Mo Beichen were worried about the woman going to the hospital alone, so they followed.

The nurse did some simple checks on the woman, and let out a sigh of relief, “It’s nothing serious. She just suffered temporary hypoxia.”

The nurse said that and took off the woman’s mask and put it aside, intending to slip on an oxygen mask on her.

At this instant, Xia Weilan froze when she stared in disbelief at the woman that they had just rescued.

That person is Xia Ruolin.

When did Xia Ruolin go to the party? She wasn’t even aware.

Xia Weilan suddenly had an urge to get out of the car.

“We’ll leave when we arrive at the hospital.” Mo Beichen said calmly. After all, this is an ambulance. Getting off now would delay the treatment.

Xia Weilan calmed down and immediately called Xia Mei, “Ruolin fainted and she is being taken to the city hospital now. Please come over.”

After hanging up the phone, Xia Weilan let out a sigh of relief.

Xia Ruolin’s lips were a little pale. Nobody knew what had happened or was it food poisoning or not. If it was, Lin Beice would certainly be in trouble.

At the entrance of the hospital, Xia Mei was already waiting there. She said to Xia Weilan, “Thank you.”

Xia Weilan replied, “Send her to the doctor first.”

“Don’t worry.” The nurse said immediately, “She is not sick at all. She’s pregnant and has eaten something wrong. She just needs to take a drip and she’ll be better after some rest.”

The nurse’s statement made the few people on the scene fall silent.

“You must be mistaken. My daughter doesn’t even have a boyfriend yet, how could she be pregnant?” Xia Mei immediately said angrily with a negligent face, “Don’t talk nonsense.”

The nurse went pale and said, “I’m just guessing. Let’s wait for the doctor to do a detailed diagnosis.”

Xia Weilan and Mo Beichen exchanged glances and didn’t want to be here any longer, “Let’s go.”

Xia Mei had no time to mind about Xia Weilan. She suddenly felt a sting in her heart and pushed Xia Ruolin into the hospital.

Xia Weilan and Mo Beichen took a ride home.

On the way home, Xia Weilan has been thinking about Xia Ruolin.

Could it be that the nurse was right that Xia Roulin is really pregnant?

“Hubby, do you think Xia Ruolin is really pregnant?” Xia Weilan asked what was in her mind.

Mo Beichen looked at her in surprise, “What makes you think so?”

Xia Weilan blushed, “A month ago when we were on the cruise ship. I heard Xia Ruolin and Ouyang Mingqi…”

Xia Weilan did not continue to talk about the embarrassing details.
