“Okay!” Mo Beichen had achieved his goal. He stood up and left with Xia Weilan while everyone watched.

As soon as both of them left, a lot of guests were no longer interested in the banquet and they all started to leave.

Xue Zhiqing’s face immediately went dull. How could he be happy looking at the hall with just a few tables of guests left?

He has always known Mo Beichen’s influence, but seeing and experiencing it for himself sent a shiver down his spine.

Lui Yinyin stood outside the door, eavesdropping on their conversation. She secretly let out a laugh.

Previously, she was kind to Xia Ruolin because of the relationship between the Mo and the Xia Family. She came to this engagement ceremony because of Mo Beichen.

She never expected that she would make such an interesting discovery.

Liu Yinyin listened to them quarreling in the room and the more she listened, the more she was delighted. It turns out that Ouyang Mingqi had been admiring Xia Weilan for a long time. This is interesting.

Meanwhile, Mo Beichen who was driving Xia Weilan home wore a hideous expression.

At the banquet, Ouyang Mingqi had been stealing glances at Xia Weilan from time to time. Mo Beichen was already very upset because of that. Luckily, Xia Weilan suggested that they should leave, otherwise, he would have started looking for trouble with Ouyang Mingqi.

“Well, we have no control over his eyes, since they are his. We can’t simply dig out his eyes, can’t we?” Xia Weilan said helplessly. Although she felt uncomfortable that he’s looking at her, there’s really nothing much she can do about it.

She never expected that Mo Beichen would reply, “This is not a bad idea.”

Sensing the irritable aura in the car, Xia Weilan couldn’t help but say, “I was just joking. Don’t tell me that you’re taking it seriously?”

“What do you think? How dare someone lust over Mo Beichen’s wife? He’s really seeking death.” Mo Beichen said solemnly. He was not joking at all.

“Just forget it!” Xia Weilan felt that he was over-reacting, She persuaded him, “He just took a few glances, I didn’t lose anything.”

She didn’t expect that Mo Beichen would suddenly turn his head around and stare at her with a serious face, “Are you trying to plead for him? What are you even thinking?”

Doesn’t Xia Weilan despise Ouyang Mingqi? Why would she even plead for him?

Mo Beichen recalled that Xia Weilan put aside her hatred and saved Ouyang Mingqi when he was hung on the tree previously. In that case, it seemed like Xia Weilan didn’t really hate Ouyang Mingqi at all.

That weekend, Xia Weilan had dinner with the Mo Family. When Liu Yinyin was about to leave, she said shyly to Xia Weilan, “Weilan, I need to be somewhere now. But the bridesmaid dress that I sent for custom tailoring was ready for collection today. Can you help me to collect it and pass it to me at the office? I’m so sorry to trouble you.”

Liu Yinyin rarely asked Xia Weilan for help on such a trivial matter. Xia Weilan couldn’t refuse and so, she rushed over to the address that Lui Yinyin left her.

In the bridal shop, Ouyang Mingqi sat impatiently on the sofa, flipping through the magazine while staring at the room in front of him from time to time. Xia Roulin was inside the room, discussing the details of her customized bridal gown. But the discussion was really a little too long.

If it wasn’t for his parents insisting that he must accompany Xia Roulin, he really wouldn’t waste his time coming to such a place.

Xia Roulin wielded the fact that she’s pregnant, she is now living with the Ouyang’s Family so that she can rest properly during her pregnancy period. The whole family treated Xia Roulin like a Buddha and even he himself had to obey Xia Roulin’s commands for the time being. This is simply too sullen.

Just when Ouyang Mingqi was about to leave, he saw Xia Weilan who had just entered the shop.

Ouyang Mingqi’s eyes brightened and he immediately put on a smiling face, “Weilan, are you coming here to look for me?”

Ouyang Mingqi thought that Xia Weilan was here looking for him. Otherwise, how can it be such a coincidence?

Ouyang Mingqi said overly enthusiastically, “Let me help you to carry this to the car.”

“No need.” Xia Weilan took the bag over, “I have something else to do. I’ll be leaving now.”

She didn’t expect Ouyang Mingqi would chase after. He ignored her previous words, “Weilan, wait up.”
