"Ah..."

Chen Lin sat up in shock and hurriedly called out, "Xiao Hu? Tang Tang? Are you okay?"

But as he looked around, Chen Lin was instantly dumbfounded!

This was a tiny bedroom, less than ten square meters, and it was clearly partitioned off from a larger room, as the partition did not reach the ceiling. Chen Lin could see a ceiling fan on the other side of the partition.

In the bedroom, apart from the bed he was lying on, there was a clothes hanger by the bed, and next to it were three basins, each containing toothpaste, a water cup, and a towel.

At the other end of the bed, there were stacks of cardboard boxes, but it was unclear what was inside.

And that was all there was in the bedroom!

But, where was this place?

Chen Lin was truly bewildered!

He couldn't help but frown and think. Chen Lin remembered that the movie he directed, "Inception," was currently a global hit and had already broken the box office record set by "Avatar" in China.

Yaya had also given birth to a son and was recuperating in the United States.

After accompanying Yaya through childbirth and the North American release of "Inception," Chen Lin returned to China, and the Qilin Group officially announced the acquisition of Shengda Literature.

With a temporary respite, Chen Lin went to Tang Tang's villa, where Xiao Hu was also present. The two women then engaged in their usual intimate interactions.

However, just as the two women were having a good time, a deafening roar suddenly came from outside the villa.

Chen Lin, Xiao Hu, and Tang Tang, unable to resist their curiosity, went to the window to look outside.

Instantly, the three of them were stunned!

They saw five characters floating in the sky.

The three of them blinked in unison, confirming that they weren't seeing things. Indeed, there were five characters, more precisely, three numbers and two Chinese characters.

"What is this?" Tang Tang couldn't help but ask, "Are they filming a movie?"

"I don't know," Xiao Hu also shook her head, puzzled.

Only Chen Lin, upon clearly seeing the five characters, felt as if he had fallen into an ice cellar.

These five characters were vast and boundless, like the palm of the Buddha, rapidly pressing down on Chen Lin. The speed was so fast that they even produced a blazing flame from the friction with the air!

Why did Chen Lin feel they were flying towards him?

Because although the characters obscured the sky and moved as swiftly as lightning, Chen Lin could still see them clearly, and he alone understood their terrifying meaning.

Before Chen Lin could think further, he heard a "boom" and then lost consciousness.

Now, as Chen Lin woke up, he was still somewhat shaken and worried about Xiao Hu and Tang Tang's safety.

But the scene before him left Chen Lin utterly baffled.

Clearly, he was not dead.

But if he was still alive, he should either be in the ruins of the villa or in a hospital room, but this place was clearly neither.

Chen Lin couldn't help but knock on his head, trying to remember something, but he suddenly fainted again.

Then, a documentary of a man named "Chen Hao" began playing in his mind!

But why did this situation feel so familiar?

...

After an unknown amount of time, Chen Lin showed a bitter smile.

He had actually crossed over again!

The last time he crossed over into Chen Lin's body, the parallel world of "The Crown of Huayu" might have been destroyed!

Miraculously, he had crossed over a second time!

Could it be that his and his fans' strong will had allowed him to escape?

While Chen Lin was relieved to have crossed over again, he couldn't help but think of his girlfriends from his previous life!

But they were probably no longer around!

Thinking of this, Chen Lin couldn't help but feel a pang of pain in his heart!

Fortunately, after watching the documentary of Chen Hao's life, Chen Lin felt somewhat comforted.

Because this was a world extremely similar to "The Crown of Huayu"!

In other words, his girlfriends still existed, they just didn't recognize him anymore!

Having been in the industry for so long, Chen Lin knew how difficult it was to rise to the top, and they needed his protection.

He had to find them as soon as possible, protect them, and motivate them!

However, Chen Lin also knew that one must be strong to succeed. He was now Chen Hao, not the Chen Lin from his previous life.

He was now a 21-year-old, a senior in the directing department of the Capital Film Academy.

His major was relevant, but he was currently on the fringes of the industry, and the idea of reuniting with his girlfriends was unrealistic!

Fortunately, he still had plenty of time.

Because it was September 10, 2001!

His girlfriends should still be blossoming in various parts of the country, many of them still cute little girls, and some might not even be born yet.

So, there was still time!

However, from now on, he would no longer be called Chen Lin, but Chen Hao.

Unlike Chen Lin, Chen Hao was a genuine native of the capital and had not joined the Qidian Orphanage, so he had no supernatural powers.

Chen Hao lived in Laizhu Hutong, Xuanwu District, the capital. His father was a chef with good skills, and the couple ran a restaurant. Their life was not wealthy, but it was manageable.

Chen Hao was born on August 8, 1980, and he always liked people to call him "Ba Ba" because of his birthday.

However, people preferred to call him "Er Ba."

Chen Hao was a quick-witted and active person. Even in his sophomore year, he couldn't resist his passion and wanted to direct his first movie.

To this end, he submitted scripts to film companies and applied for production funds from the school, but due to various reasons, such as the scripts not being up to par, all his efforts were in vain.

Chen Hao was not willing to give up and tried multiple times, but still received no response.

This was a significant blow to the passionate Chen Hao, but he did not give up. Since there was no investment, he decided to invest himself.

So, Chen Hao began to earn money.

Using his professional knowledge, Chen Hao started looking for jobs after the summer break of his sophomore year.

Thanks to the reputation of the Capital Film Academy's directing department, his solid skills, and his willingness to do anything, Chen Hao managed to find quite a few jobs.

In just one year, Chen Hao had directed wedding videos, event celebrations, and photo shoots, as well as music videos, though no one cared who directed the music videos.

Chen Hao gained a good reputation and, with his relatively low prices, attracted many clients, eventually even directing TV commercials.

Although they were not for big brands and did not air on national television, only on local channels, it did not significantly impact Chen Hao's fame.

However, through these jobs, Chen Hao connected theory with practice, honing his directing skills.

At the same time, he earned a decent income, and from his junior year, he no longer needed to ask his family for money.
