Franken felt a chill run through his body, raised his gun, and fired. The monster extended its massive claws and deflected all the bullets, then lunged at Franken with a powerful leap. Franken had seen Jason's fate and knew that while the monster's right hand was imposing, its slender left hand was the real threat. He decisively jumped to the monster's right side, dodging the massive claws. The monster, failing to land its attack, found it inconvenient to use its left hand and instead swept horizontally with its right, sending two or three shelves flying. Franken, agile as he was, was no longer young. After a series of battles, his stamina was waning, and he couldn't completely avoid the attack. He tried to block the monster's claws with his gun, but the strength difference was too great. With a "crack," the shotgun was destroyed, and Franken was thrown back.

On the other side, Scarred David had long noticed the giant monster joining the fight and had lost the will to fight. However, with mutated zombies everywhere, escaping was no easy task. Just as he was distracted, a mutated zombie suddenly pounced on him, knocking him to the ground. The zombie's pus-filled mouth was almost biting his neck! At this critical moment, a flash of a blade cut through the air, and the zombie's disgusting head flew off, leaving only a headless corpse on top of David. It was Isa who had acted!

"Boss, are you okay?" Isa pulled Scarred David up, asking with concern. David wiped the sweat from his forehead: "Good job, Isa! Thanks to you!" Isa's dark, clear face showed a slightly shy smile, enjoying the praise from her boss.

"Wow!" Suddenly, another zombie pounced. Scarred David kicked it down and shot it in the head, then said to Isa: "No good, there are too many of these things! We need to find a way out!" Isa swung her blade and dismembered another zombie, responding: "Okay, boss, let's run to the door, I'll protect you!"

As they spoke, they moved toward the door. At that moment, the giant monster, having thrown Franken, noticed them and lunged with its massive claws. Scarred David cursed Jason and Franken for being useless, unable to hold out for even a minute. But Isa, undaunted, raised her dual blades in front of David and shouted: "Boss, run! I'll hold it off!"

David thought to himself, "How can a little girl like you hold it off?" As the monster pounced, David, with a cruel resolve, pulled out something and stuffed it into Isa's collar, then kicked her away. Isa never expected her most respected boss to attack her at such a moment. Stumbling, she lunged at the giant monster, which extended its slender left arm and, with lightning speed, pierced her chest.

Isa's dual blades fell from her hands, and with her last strength, she turned her head, only to see Scarred David fleeing in a panic. The South American girl's amber eyes shed the last tear of her life. In the next instant, a massive claw grabbed her head and ripped it off, leaving a small section of her spine still trembling. At the same time, a small black ball rolled out of Isa's collar and exploded mid-air.

It was a grenade! Max had also noticed the commotion and never expected Scarred David to have a grenade and to use his comrade as a human bomb!

As the smoke cleared, Isa's body was shredded, and the giant monster was also severely injured, its slender left arm severed. The monster roared in anger, the pain from the severed limb only fueling its rage. It looked around and saw that Scarred David had escaped the supermarket, Jason and Isa were dead, Franken's fate was unknown, Johnny was near death, and Jerry was tending to him. Only Max remained standing. The giant monster let out a monstrous cry, opened its massive mouth, and swung its huge right arm, charging at Max.

Max, who had faced hunters multiple times, had the experience, mental fortitude, and physical strength that others lacked. Seeing the monster charge, he calmly dodged, picked up his assault rifle, and fired at the monster's left arm stump. The monster, in pain, swung its massive claw at Max, who leaped away but was suddenly tripped by a zombie's upper body. He fell to the ground. Looking down, he saw the zombie's upper body clinging to his leg! As the giant monster's right arm came down again, Max rolled away, kicked the zombie's upper body into the monster's face, and took the opportunity to get up.

The monster crushed the zombie's head and threw the body aside. Max took a few steps back to create distance, noticing the assault rifle on the ground, which had been destroyed by the monster's claw. It was unusable. He had no choice but to engage in close combat. Max spat and flexed his arms, preparing for the fight.

The monster roared and charged again. Max dodged to the left, trying to block the monster's terrifying right claw. However, the monster seemed to have learned and stopped its charge, turning and swinging its massive claw horizontally at Max.

Max couldn't dodge this attack and had to brace his arms to block it. With a "bang," he was thrown back, flipping in the air before landing on his feet. The impact numbed his hands, and he felt his health drop by more than a tenth. He estimated the monster's strength to be at least fifty.

"Hmph, not even as strong as a hunter!" Max sneered. He had survived several hunts by hunters and even killed two. Compared to those, this monster was just a minor threat!

The only trouble was the right arm, which was thick, large, and incredibly hard, with claws sharp as knives. If it landed a solid hit, it might be even more destructive than a hunter! Max thought about his tactics and suddenly noticed the rows of shelves in the supermarket. He had an idea, fired a few shots at the monster, and ran toward the densest area of shelves.

The monster indeed chased Max, but once it entered the dense area, its massive right arm was hindered. Each swing knocked over one or two shelves, significantly reducing its speed and power. Worse, the shelves, made of wire and
