Chapter 1

4 min read941 words

In the past few days, the number of favorites has been dropping, from nearly 4200 to the current 4092.

I take this situation very seriously. I discussed it with some friends in the old group and summarized a few points: the current world is not very well-known, the current plot arrangement is not very reader-friendly, and the future direction of the story is not very clear, among other things.

I have decided to write a separate chapter to explain.

Before I explain, I want to mention two things. First, I updated 4300 words today.

Second, I apologize for any unpleasant reading experience, but I believe that any bumps and bruises are opportunities for improvement, not a loss.

Now, let's begin.

First, let me talk about the current world and why I chose this world.

The current world is "Space Battleship Yamato 2199." This is a classic anime, where a group of aliens called the Gamilas have destroyed Earth, and the last battleship, the Yamato, sets out to save Earth. I won't go into more detail here, but if you're interested, you can search online; there's a lot of information available.

When I chose this anime as the first stepping-stone world, I did a lot of careful preparation.

Initially, I didn't want to choose this world as a stepping stone. I had originally selected the prequel to "Mass Effect," but it faced strong opposition from some of my friends. The reasons for the opposition included the fact that very few people know about the "Mass Effect" prequel, and there are very few elements in it that can enhance the protagonist, among other reasons.

The final conclusion was to choose a universe that allows for relatively quick travel and departure, and one that can provide appropriate enhancements for the protagonist. After reviewing many options, I finally chose "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," for two main reasons.

First, this universe is small enough and has a simple background, making it suitable as the first, not too complex, stepping-stone universe.

Second, this universe offers important technological upgrades for the protagonist's forces, such as the Wave Engine and Wave Cannon. These dimension-level weapons are crucial for the subsequent plot development.

By now, readers should have realized that this book is not a space opera. The protagonist's main world is the Blizzard universe, but he will always travel to other worlds. His ultimate goal is to form an army to fight against "Chaos" in the multiverse, not to become a solo hero who can devour stars.

Yes, this is a story about the protagonist building an infinite army that grows stronger step by step, fighting against evil in the universe.

The story begins in Koprulu, and the first important stepping stone is in the "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" universe. In this universe, I will introduce the concept of "Temples," similar to the Nexus in Heroes of the Storm, where the Wave Cannon technology plays the role of a portal for demonic invasions.

Originally, I had chosen the prequel to "Mass Effect," with the Mass Relay as the entry point.

The protagonist, Rayman, will engage in a series of interactions with the native inhabitants of the universe, whether as friends or enemies. Here, he will further strengthen his "Infinite Army," fight against the demonic forces and infections, and eventually return to Koprulu due to a series of plot twists, just in time for the First Great War.

By now, some readers who know the "Yamato" plot should have realized that this is a heavily modified version of the "Yamato" story.

Yes, this is my plan: to create a complex structure that integrates multiple universes, using concepts like "parallel universes" to write a different kind of infinite world, not just a simple crossover where the protagonist follows the original plot, like the overused trope of writing about the Fourth War in the Type Moon universe or killing Zelretch.

Here, you will see some exciting interactions, such as the interaction between Kyubey (from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica") and a certain perverted leader of the Grey Knights (from Warhammer), or the interaction between Jedi Masters (from Star Wars) and the Men in Black.

All the heroes will gather to fight against the chaos in the universe, but not just as individual heroes. The protagonist of this story is an "Infinite Army," where each member is not a typical superhero, like the gorilla Gangun or the veteran of the Gamilas Empire.

To unfold such a plot, the protagonist cannot be invincible from the start, and the Infinite Army must start small. They need time to grow from a small force that has limited impact on the battle to a formidable army.

The "Yamato" universe is their first step. Here, they will face the influence of demons for the first time, and Rayman will engage in a series of exciting battles against demonic forces, thoroughly disrupting the plans of Chaos. The Infinite Army will grow here.

If I have to find a similar comparison for the structure of my book, it would be "Xiling" by Big Eyeball, but in my story, Rayman is not an invincible being like "Holy Father." However, Rayman and our universe have an interesting setting in my story.

I hope to share this setting and story with you; it will be very exciting.

Please give me more time and more opportunities.

If you have any questions or concerns, please speak up and ask, just like Nubani. I will answer.

That's all for today. Thank you for your support.
