"Hey, did that Otani person get your contact information and all that? What, big bro, you're so lame?"

"Harsh..."

During dinner, after explaining today's events to the family, the words I received from my beloved sister, Yuzuko, were these. Harsh.

As a new explorer, it would have been nice to hear something like, "Good luck" or "Stay safe," but no.

What do you mean, "so lame"… I had no choice. That girl was really scary, you know.

While listening to the story, Mom asked while sipping her miso soup.

"So, you're going to dive into the dungeon, right?"

Mom seems to be grabbing Dad under the table. Dad is writhing in agony. No special play during dinner! Do it in the bedroom!

Next to us, Yuzuko is eating as if it doesn't concern her. Her aloofness is apparently popular at school. She gets asked out every day, even though she's only in her second year of middle school. Well, even without the brother's perspective, she is pretty.

Dinner is over, so I say thanks and go back to my room. Checking my phone, I see multiple messages on my social media.

"Otani, so sudden. Scary..."

She's bombarding my profile even though I didn't ask for anything. This person is seriously carnivorous, isn't she?

I reply, "That's a crime, you know," and turn off notifications.

Now that it's quiet, and I'm tired, I go straight to bed. Listening to my favorite music, I think about something that bothered me during the exploration.

"Something doesn't feel right with the sword."

Yes, the discomfort I felt when fighting the monsters.

I can swing the sword, but I have no sense that I can use it properly, which is quite fatal for an explorer.

It's an instinctive, almost certain feeling of discomfort, so even I have to sit down and think about it.

To be honest, I feel like I could become really great skill-wise. It's not normal to suddenly have all abilities multiplied by ten.
