I'm having a dream. But, um? It's different from usual? Ah, because Assam isn't in it.

In my dreams, the field of view was always fixed on Assam. But this dream had me floating around the castle. It was the first time seeing the other world without Assam.

Perhaps I was dead? And because I wanted to see him so much, I crossed into the different world? My thoughts were unsteady and uncertain.

While aimlessly thinking about these things, I found a small light. I entered thinking that maybe I'd find Assam in there and my body slipped through without having to open the door.

Inside were three people, two men and a woman, speaking to each other. Assam wasn't there. As I was leaving the room, I heard a name from behind.

"When will Assam die?"

The one who spoke was a woman with light blue hair wearing a gorgeous dress. At those words my restless thoughts began to clear. Just now, you said that Assam would die?

"Hah. During tomorrow's hunt, we've arranged for his death in the enclosure."

The two men had dark brown hair that could be confused for the black night, the taller one had answered indifferently.

This is an emergency! I have to tell him. Nn! Wah!

The moment I decided to leave the chamber, my vision spun, and the scene changed.

Cautiously opening my eyes, I was relieved by the sight of Assam. It appears that I've returned to the usual dream setting. I could see a lot of mirrors, Assam was facing them and saying something.

What is it? I listened carefully, and my heart soared at the words.

My vision shook, and weight came back to my body. Being unable to oppose my returning consciousness was a sign of waking up.

I awoke to the sight of a familiar ceiling. The burden of the dream was different from usual, the excitement from Assam's words made my breathing rough. I took a shallow breath and muttered.

"That was surprising."

I used my arm to wipe off the night sweat from my face. It was still dark outside. It's been a week since the surgery, any sudden movements would irritate the wounds. I got up slowly.

All this time I thought I was the only one watching. But I was wrong.

"You want to help, but how?"

The things I discovered. That's right, I have something important to tell you.

"I have to let you know that you can't go hunting!"

For now, let's imitate the opposite mirrors and see. I moved to my wheelchair and headed towards the entrance in the direction of the standing mirror. Before I wrote my name on the provided mirror, I had some troubling thoughts.

"I probably shouldn't write on it directly. Let's write it on paper."

I tore off a page from my notebook and wrote my name on it. Truthfully, I wanted to write that he shouldn't go hunting, but I didn't know how to. Bringing the paper with me back to the mirror, I said my name and the things about the hunt.

『Toki Aihara. Toki Aihara. Toki Aihara. Hunt, cannot, die.』

In excitement over being able to communicate with Assam I slowly repeated the words. It was unlikely that I would be able to sleep because of it. I hoped that it would be transmitted to Assam this way.

I continued to repeat my words into the mirror until the end of the night.
