"Yangzi, help! At No. 67 Baihua Alley in West City, someone specifically asked to see you perform. The troupe leader said if you don't come immediately, they'll fire me. If you have any conscience, come quickly!"
"Dizzy, I don't even know if you're my real mom! I'm in the middle of night study right now. The college entrance exam is only two months away, and I need to study. I can't go with you to perform some nonsense. I've told you eight times, it's called street dance, not messing around on the ground, OK?"
"Child, you're my real father! If you come and perform, the host will give an extra hundred yuan! If you don't come, I'll get nothing after shouting for two days and nights! Don't talk nonsense, hurry up and come. When you get to Baihua Alley, just look for the place with the big red '喜' (happiness) character!"
"Mom, can I not go?"
"You damn brat, if you dare not come, I'll come to your school and drag you out by your ear! Aren't you afraid of losing face in front of your classmates? I'll make sure you lose all your dignity!"
"My dear mom, I owe you from a past life. I'll go, okay? Twenty minutes, I'll definitely be there!"
Li Yang stuffed the old Nokia phone into his pocket and started packing his textbooks with a gloomy face.
Suddenly, he shuddered and noticed that his beautiful class monitor, Wang Yuxin, was glaring at him. He quickly bowed and whispered, "Class monitor, please give me a leave. You heard, my mom needs me to perform. If I don't go, she'll lose her job. I'll be back in an hour!"
This beautiful class monitor, Wang Yuxin, had fair skin, a slim figure, bright eyes, and a perfect nose and teeth. Her hair was neatly cut to her ears, making her look both beautiful and capable. She was the undisputed school beauty at Deyang High School and also Li Yang's class monitor.
Wang Yuxin was not only beautiful but also an excellent student. In their city's key high school, with over four hundred students in eight classes, she always ranked first in every exam.
Li Yang's grades were average in his first and second years of high school, but they plummeted in his third year. In the last mock exam before the college entrance exam, he ranked last in his class! The homeroom teacher, fearing he would drag the class down, assigned the top student, Wang Yuxin, to supervise his studies.
"Is it your mother, who sings on the street, asking you to perform again? No way! You stay here and study! If you don't memorize these hundred English words, you won't rest tonight!" Wang Yuxin scolded sternly.
Li Yang's face darkened, and he retorted, "What do you mean 'sings on the street'? My mom is an actor in a dance troupe! If I don't go tonight, she'll come to our school and cause a scene!"
"Let her come, I'll teach her a lesson. You're a senior in high school, and studying is the most important thing. You can't let a few dollars ruin your studies! It's just a hundred yuan, I'll pay for it. Now, stay here and study!"
Wang Yuxin gave Li Yang a cold look, took out a hundred-yuan note from her pink wallet, and tossed it lightly onto his desk.
Li Yang looked at the hundred yuan and felt a bit moved.
He knew Wang Yuxin was strict but kind-hearted, and her insistence on his studies was for his own good. However, his mother's situation was special, and he had to go.
After his mother was laid off from the textile factory, she finally found a job singing in a dance troupe. If she lost this job, not only would he be unable to continue his studies, but their family would also lose their source of income!
"Good class monitor, I can't take your money. I'll memorize the hundred words tomorrow. I really need to go."
Seeing Wang Yuxin still trying to stop him, Li Yang suddenly stood up and tried to slip away, smirking to himself. With his skills as the city's street dance runner-up, escaping from a girl should be easy.
But as soon as he took a step, he felt his black school uniform collar tightly held by an angry Wang Yuxin.
Li Yang twisted his body to break free, but the class monitor's grip was strong, and his uniform almost tore. He couldn't get away.
"Yuxin, let go! I'm really in a hurry!" Li Yang pleaded.
"No, finish the words first!" Wang Yuxin refused to budge.
The classroom was full of about forty students, all watching the struggle between Wang Yuxin and Li Yang with amusement.
"Ring, ring, ring!"
The bell signaling the end of night study rang, and Li Yang became even more anxious. The school gates would close soon, and if he didn't leave now, he wouldn't be able to get out!
He quickly came up with an idea, using a move called "Dragon Stirring the Moon," he slipped out of his uniform and quickly ran to the classroom door, turning back to give Wang Yuxin a bright smile, "Thanks, class monitor, for helping me change. Goodbye!"
With that, he vanished in a flash!
Wang Yuxin, furious, stood up and threw Li Yang's uniform onto his desk, shouting at the stunned classmates, "What are you looking at? Didn't you hear the bell?"
She then sat down, her chest heaving and tears welling up in her eyes, unable to calm down for a long time.
Outside the window, a shadow moved, and a man crushed the half-smoked cigarette under his foot, tossing it aside and quickly getting into a black Toyota parked in the shadows.
"Drive fast, follow that kid. He dared to touch my woman, he's asking for it!" A hoarse voice said, and the Toyota roared to life, following closely behind.
The night in Southeast City was beautiful, with tree shadows swaying under the streetlights. On the dimly lit road, Li Yang pedaled his bicycle hard, his mind filled with thoughts of the punishment he would face from the beautiful class monitor the next day. Would it be ten more math problems or fifty more English words? The thought made his head spin.
As he turned a corner, the streetlight ahead was out, leaving the road pitch black. Li Yang sped through, and the black Toyota quickly overtook him. A short brake screech was heard, and four people got out of the car.
Li Yang didn't notice anything unusual, too focused on his urgent mission. As he passed the Toyota, he suddenly felt something cover his head.
Then he felt heavy blows to his body, almost losing consciousness from the pain. Just as he was about to shout, a punch to the back of his head rendered him unconscious.
The screeching of tires echoed as the Toyota sped away, leaving Li Yang, now in a burlap sack, and his old bicycle behind.
In the vast space outside the solar system, a huge disc-shaped object appeared.
From the center of the disc's bottom, a beam of orange light shot out, visible for only a fraction of a second before disappearing like a flash of lightning. Along with the beam, Li Yang, who had been lying on the ground, vanished!
This disc-shaped object was a UFO!
Li Yang lay still on a platform emitting a soft white light, surrounded by several strange humanoid figures communicating through what seemed like brain waves.
These beings were about 1.8 meters tall, with faces similar to humans but with heads twice as large, eyes twice as big, and small noses with only a symbolic bump and two sesame-sized nostrils. Their mouths were small and delicate, half the size of a human's. They were aliens from tens of thousands of light-years away.
The aliens wore light blue clothing that looked like metallic leather, covering their bodies from the neck down without a single seam, making them appear tall and elegant.
Inside the UFO, the aliens were walking around Li Yang's body, frequently exchanging glances, seemingly engaged in some form of communication.
Finally, they seemed to make a difficult decision. An older alien with a few wrinkles on his face nodded and tapped a floating screen with his slender fingers. Instantly, a larger screen appeared, showing Li Yang's head, starting with his hair, then his scalp, skull, and finally his brain tissue!
It appeared they were using advanced technology to dissect Li Yang's body layer by layer!
Li Yang remained motionless, his head still intact without a single wound, but his brain tissue was now visible to the aliens, a terrifying sight!
Eighteen aliens stood in front of the screen, watching Li Yang's brain tissue and nodding slightly, as if evaluating which part tasted better.
Finally, the older alien rapidly tapped the screen, and a small disc-shaped light source on the ceiling emitted a green beam directly onto Li Yang's head. The brain tissue on the screen seemed to be eroded by the evil green light, glowing with various colors!
Suddenly, the green beam became erratic, and the entire UFO began to shake violently. The aliens on the floor were thrown to the ground by the sudden jolt. As they slowly got up, a strange sound, identical to Li Yang's voice, came from the small disc-shaped light source on the ceiling.
"Boiled fish... Stephen Chow... Spicy... Chicken... Black Mountain... Old Demon... Lotus... Sister... Sora... Shark... Birthday gift... Alien... Uncle Ben... Who am I? Who are you? Wow, why are you in my stomach! Are you worms, pinworms, whipworms, or cysticerci? None of them, I'm so confused! Why are there things in my stomach?"
