Chapter 3

In that life-and-death moment, Li Yang's terrified eyes even saw the polar bear's sharp canine teeth and its white molars, and the stench from the bear's mouth almost made him faint!

Knowing that it was hard to escape, he closed his eyes in despair, silently pleading with the polar bear to give him a quick and painless end, as he was afraid of pain!

Just as he closed his eyes, Li Yang felt a burning sensation all over his body, as if he had fallen into a furnace. The bright light on his eyelids made him open his eyes again!

Wow!

What was going on? When Li Yang opened his eyes, he found himself back on the beach!

Even the footprints he had left in the sand were still clearly visible, and the waves were still gently lapping at the shore. The coconut trees swaying in the sea breeze told him that this was a tropical area, and there was no way a polar bear could be here.

Was everything that just happened an illusion?

He quickly touched his exposed skin, which was still as cold as iron, telling him that he had definitely been frozen in the icy cold just now!

He smelled something unpleasant on his collar and looked down. Damn it, the polar bear had actually drooled all over him. Could this be a lie?

Li Yang's mind raced, almost driving him to the brink of insanity. He couldn't figure out what had just happened. If it was an illusion, why was his body still cold, and why was there something that looked like polar bear saliva on him?

The Star Brain in space found Li Yang's predicament hilarious and burst out laughing. The same laughter echoed in the control room of the flying saucer.

Finding it endlessly entertaining to toy with Li Yang, it closely watched his every move, ready to play another trick on him. How dare he think of the great flying saucer as a surveillance camera! It was outrageous!

By the way, what is a surveillance camera? The Star Brain began to ponder.

Li Yang suddenly thought that his sudden trip to what seemed like the Arctic might have something to do with the curse he had uttered.

So he thought for a moment and then raised his middle finger to the sky, shouting, "You damn sky, if you dare, send me to the African savanna!"

This time, he opened his eyes wide and felt the scene in front of him ripple like water, changing completely. But when he saw where he was, he almost fainted!

Damn it, this time it was a bit warmer, not as cold as the Arctic, but the danger level was no less!

He found himself in the middle of a pride of African lions. His arrival woke up about twenty lions that had been napping within five meters of him.

The entire pride seemed uninterested in this unexpected visitor. The lionesses even yawned and looked at Li Yang sideways, still lying on the ground. A group of cubs let out a few strange cries and scurried to the side.

Seeing that the lions seemed friendly, Li Yang breathed a sigh of relief and tried to sneak away.

When the lionesses saw him trying to leave, their expressions changed, and they got up, growling low in their throats, as if warning him that it was impolite to leave without saying goodbye.

Suddenly, a yellow blur flashed by, and a powerful male lion leaped from the tall grass, silently launching a deadly attack!

Just as its massive jaws were about to bite Li Yang's head, the scene in front of him rippled again...

Damn it, he was back on the beach!

Li Yang looked around dejectedly and walked toward the coconut trees.

He wondered if he had gained some kind of special ability, where cursing the sky could send him to wherever he wanted. If that were true, wouldn't the sky be too cheap?

It seemed that things weren't so bad. Getting back to school would only take a second, he just needed to curse the sky again!

Thinking this, he stopped and raised his middle finger to the sky, shouting, "You damn sky, if you dare, send me back to my school!"

This time, he was dumbfounded. He waited for a long time, but nothing happened!

Was it the wrong location?

He ran back to where he had been standing and shouted again, "Sky, if you dare, send me back to my school!"

Still no response!

The Star Brain in space thought, "I know you want to go back to school, but I won't let you. What can you do about it?"

Sending Li Yang to the polar bear and then to the lion's den was all the Star Brain's mischief. It found it very satisfying to see Li Yang in trouble.

Li Yang stood there, dumbfounded, trying to figure out what went wrong.

He wanted to try teleporting to other places but didn't dare to try the Arctic or the African savanna again. He realized that he was extremely unlucky, and if he went to these places, he would surely end up in the mouth of a predator. If he teleported to the Amazon rainforest, he would likely end up in a piranha pit or the mouth of a giant python.

A big city seemed more reliable, at least there were no dangerous animals.

"Damn sky, if you dare, send me to the Statue of Liberty!" Li Yang shouted again.

The scene in front of him rippled like water, and in an instant, Li Yang was really at the Statue of Liberty!

But this time, it was even more bizarre. He was standing on top of the statue's head!

Li Yang looked around, and just as he was about to shout in triumph, a helicopter flew by. The armed police on the helicopter were shocked to see someone on top of the Statue of Liberty's head.

As one of them instinctively raised his large-caliber machine gun and ordered Li Yang to surrender, the powerful downdraft from the helicopter's rotors blew Li Yang off the statue!

"Damn, I just got to America and I'm already dead. Smuggling really isn't fun," Li Yang muttered as he fell through the air.

Just as he was about to become the first person to commit suicide by falling off the Statue of Liberty, his body disappeared in mid-air.

"Was I hallucinating? Damn, I clearly saw someone fall from the Statue of Liberty!" the big-nosed American police officer with the machine gun said angrily.

"Bro, I told you not to drink on duty, but you didn't listen. Hehe, you must have had too much cat pee!" the helicopter pilot joked.

"Did I really see wrong? That can't be, I clearly saw someone there! I guess I need to quit drinking, or I'll get into big trouble," the big-nosed police officer scratched his messy yellow hair, feeling frustrated.

The next moment, Li Yang was back on the beach. He began to try frantically, but each attempt was more dangerous and more despairing than the last!

He tried to get the sky to send him to the Eiffel Tower, and he ended up hanging from the lightning rod at the top of the tower. Just as he was relieved that he was safe and could enjoy the French scenery before going back, dark clouds gathered, and a bolt of lightning struck him...

Just a fraction of a second before his body was charred by the lightning, he was back on the familiar beach, unharmed.

He wanted to go to the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and he landed perfectly on the smooth, egg-like dome. The next second, he started sliding down, and the result was tragic...

After that, he was sent to Thailand, where he was taken to be a ladyboy, to Germany, where he landed on an unlimited-speed highway and almost got hit by a car going 200 km/h, and to Canada, where he landed in a pack of hungry wolves! The list of misfortunes was endless.

In short, he visited over ten countries in twenty minutes, and the process was extremely thrilling and eventful, but all he got was a pounding heart and nothing else!

He also discovered a devastating fact: whenever he tried to go back to school, he always failed, even if he begged the sky. Not only could he not go back to his school, but he couldn't even go anywhere in China!

Realizing that his special ability was unreliable, Li Yang was completely disheartened. Thinking about his current situation, he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sorrow.

"Sky, I beg you, please send me back to school. I promise I won't curse you again!" Li Yang knelt by the sea, tears streaming down his face.

The Star Brain in space suddenly felt a pang of sadness and gently said in Li Yang's mind, "Don't cry, I'll send you back."

Just as Li Yang was wondering where the voice was coming from, the scene around him changed again. His vision went black, and he couldn't see anything.

After a moment, his eyes adjusted to the darkness, and he saw his old bicycle lying on the ground, with a burlap sack next to it!

Grabbing the burlap sack, Li Yang's face was full of anger.

He remembered that he had been beaten while his upper body was covered by this burlap sack. He shouted into the air, "Who the hell is trying to screw me over? If you have the guts, come at me openly! Sneaking around and playing dirty is no skill!"

"Hey, who are you cursing? If I throw you back on that island, will you stop cursing?" the Star Brain's voice echoed in Li Yang's mind.

"Who are you? Are you a ghost?" Li Yang looked around in fear, but there was no one in sight.

"Stop looking. I'm communicating with you through my consciousness. You don't need to speak; I'll know what you're thinking immediately," the Star Brain in the flying saucer said.

"Ghost!"

Li Yang screamed and quickly threw the burlap sack away, pushing his bicycle and riding away in a hurry!

"Ha ha, don't panic. As long as you behave, I won't mess with you. By the way, you asked who I am. Who am I? I'm the flying saucer, but that doesn't make sense because the flying saucer shouldn't speak human language. Am I really a ghost? No, ghosts are ugly, not like me..." the Star Brain flooded Li Yang's mind with a series of thoughts.

Li Yang pedaled furiously, thinking sadly that he must be going crazy, probably because he had been beaten by those bad guys!
