Chapter 86

The heavy palm force was indeed something Xu Yun had underestimated. The scorpion tail needle of the Red Scorpion had drawn most of his defensive attention, causing him to overlook the Red Scorpion's skills in fist and palm techniques. After all, he was a top-notch expert, and his fists and palms contained an internal force capable of turning stones to dust.

The Red Scorpion took a direct hit to the chest from Xu Yun's kick, and his condition was clearly dire, his breathing becoming much heavier. The Red Scorpion had never expected that the guy in front of him would use two slippers as bait and attack from above his head.

"Who the hell are you!" The Red Scorpion stared intently at Xu Yun. An expert of this caliber in the underground world should be well-known, but he had never seen this person before. Could he be Feng Qiansui's hidden secret weapon?

"If you can defeat me, I'll tell you. Unfortunately, I won't give you that chance." Xu Yun took advantage of the Red Scorpion's heavy breathing to quickly adjust his meridians and qi. After all, he was an experienced pharmacist and knew how to maintain his optimal state at any time.

A cold light flashed in the Red Scorpion's eyes: "It's a bit early to talk big, isn't it? Do you think my scorpion tail needle is so easy to deal with!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the Red Scorpion's body crouched on the ground and suddenly burst forth. Countless cold rays shot out from his raised right leg in no particular pattern, sweeping towards the sky!

Xu Yun frowned. Had that kick just now made the guy lose his basic aim?

"Rain of Needles!" The Red Scorpion sneered and suddenly retreated rapidly.

Not good! Xu Yun thought to himself. He looked up, and the moonlight, which had been obscured by clouds, just revealed itself, and a flood of silver light poured down from the sky! It was an attack like a net from heaven and earth.

Xu Yun had no time to think much and skillfully dodged backward with a dragon-like step. If he couldn't dodge, he would be turned into a hedgehog! Does this bastard really have so many poison needles on him?

This dodge took Xu Yun back over twenty meters, and he was secretly amazed by the vast attack range.

Soon, a faint stinging pain returned to his left arm, which had been grazed by the scorpion tail needle. Xu Yun's brows furrowed, and he was worried about Qiu Yan. Even he couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't be injured, let alone Qiu Yan.

Xu Yun was concerned that Qiu Yan had also been hit by the scorpion tail needle. From his own experience, the toxicity of the scorpion tail needle was very strong, and if not treated promptly, it could easily be life-threatening.

He had to end this quickly! Although Xu Yun didn't know Qiu Yan's condition, he was very clear that she had almost no fighting ability left. Therefore, she was likely already hit by the scorpion tail needle. He knew that the longer the fight with the Red Scorpion dragged on, the more disadvantageous it would be for him.

Xu Yun looked at the Red Scorpion, who was thirty meters away, with a cold gaze. It had been a long time since Xu Yun had taken a life, but now he finally had the intention to kill. As long as he broke the Red Scorpion's right leg, the fight would be over without a doubt.

Boom! Xu Yun took the initiative, his feet bursting with power, and he charged towards the Red Scorpion like a force of nature. The Red Scorpion was not one to sit and wait, and although the Rain of Needles hadn't injured Xu Yun, it had given him enough time to adjust his meridians and qi. Now, the Red Scorpion, who had basically recovered, also moved forward without hesitation!

When their fists and palms met, it was a pure contest of internal force!

Xu Yun had always focused on cultivating his qi and internal force from the beginning. His master had said that internal force was the foundation of all external martial arts. A punch without internal force was no different from a piece of cotton. Moreover, Xu Yun enjoyed studying pharmacology and had formulated many pills to nourish his internal force.

Therefore, Xu Yun had never lost to experts of the same level in terms of internal force, and he was very confident that he would not lose to the Red Scorpion now!

Sure enough, the two internal forces exploded between them, and the Red Scorpion felt a surge of power. This guy's internal force is absolutely at the peak of top-notch experts!

To avoid greater harm, the Red Scorpion quickly withdrew his internal force and retreated. Xu Yun wouldn't give him the chance and pressed forward relentlessly.

In a panic, the Red Scorpion raised his leg and shot out the scorpion tail needle!

At such close range, Xu Yun wouldn't miss the opportunity. He blocked the Red Scorpion's attack with a palm and followed up with a powerful right punch, which shot out like a bullet, striking the Red Scorpion's right leg with a thunderous speed!

A sharp pain shot from his leg to the Red Scorpion's brain, and he fled several meters away in a狼狈 manner, using his hands and feet. He shot out a hundred scorpion tail needles to barely block Xu Yun's relentless pursuit.

Xu Yun's attack was clear: as long as he broke the Red Scorpion's right leg, it would be like cutting off the scorpion's tail!

Before Xu Yun could continue, the Red Scorpion used the Rain of Needles again! With experience, Xu Yun quickly retreated, having figured out the attack range of the Rain of Needles. He easily escaped to over twenty meters away.

The silver needles shot to the ground again, embedding themselves deep into the earth.

"It's useless," Xu Yun said with a hint of provocation. After figuring out the Red Scorpion's attacks and weaknesses, he was confident he could quickly resolve the fight next time!

But the Red Scorpion sneered and suddenly pulled out a black and white pill from his pocket, swallowing it directly in front of Xu Yun.

Xu Yun was taken aback. Is this guy sick? Why is he taking a black and white pill?

No... If he were sick, he should take the black pill at night. What is that black and white thing? Xu Yun's mind quickly processed the information, and he suddenly realized that the Red Scorpion had taken a banned drug—Yin-Yang Pill!

This drug could instantly elevate a person's mental and combat abilities to a higher level! It was named Yin-Yang Pill because it was truly terrifying, a pill that shortened one's lifespan. However, its effects could not be denied. A second-rate expert who took it could directly reach the level of a top-notch expert, and a top-notch expert who took it could directly reach the level of a super expert!

Of course, gaining such power came at a cost, ranging from a shortened lifespan to death! Therefore, the Yin-Yang Pill was classified as a banned drug. It continued to exist in the underground world solely because of its profit, and this expensive drug was not something an average person could afford.

Xu Yun never expected the Red Scorpion to use such a "kill a thousand, lose eight hundred" method, but he was very clear that he could not possibly win against a super expert! Even a pseudo-super expert under the influence of a banned drug was absolutely unbeatable.

The Red Scorpion's body suddenly sprang forward, and in the blink of an eye, he was already in front of Xu Yun. Xu Yun was caught off guard; he never expected the Red Scorpion's speed to increase to such a terrifying degree after taking the Yin-Yang Pill!

Boom—!

A powerful blow struck Xu Yun's left chest, causing his previously stabilized meridians and qi to fluctuate again. His heart churned, and he flew backward like a broken kite, spitting out a mouthful of blood!

The difference in strength was vast, and Xu Yun had no chance of retaliating. Before Xu Yun's body hit the ground, the Red Scorpion had already swept over with a powerful kick, sending Xu Yun flying over ten meters and crashing into a thick willow tree, where he fell to the ground.

The cloud that had obscured the moonlight finally dispersed, and the Red Scorpion stood under the moonlight, looking at the Xu Yun lying on the ground and sneering, "You are the first to force me to take the drug."

Qin Wan'er, hearing the loud noise, crawled back to the window. She was shocked to see Xu Yun lying on the ground with fresh blood on his lips, a large willow tree pressing on his leg, and the Red Scorpion standing in front of him, exuding an invincible aura.

The Red Scorpion suddenly turned his head and looked at the second-floor window of the medicinal cuisine restaurant. His poisonous eyes met Qin Wan'er's, and she felt her body go limp. At that moment, she finally understood why Xu Yun had repeatedly emphasized that she should not provoke this wanted criminal. Just this one fierce gaze was enough to make her lose control of her body...

A black shadow flashed, and the Red Scorpion leaped onto the window sill. He looked at the young policewoman lying on the ground and Qiu Yan, who was weakened by the scorpion tail needle's poison, and a strong sense of achievement rose in his heart.

"Hand over the little girl, and I won't kill you," the Red Scorpion said to Qin Wan'er, a cruel smile on his lips.

Under the pressure of his overwhelming aura, Qin Wan'er didn't even know how to resist.

...

Xu Yun closed his eyes, his breathing had stopped. He never thought he would still be alive. Normally, he wouldn't have been able to withstand the Red Scorpion's full-force attack, but now he was very sure he was still alive.

He was alive because he had to be! If he died, he couldn't protect anyone or defend anyone. Xu Yun didn't want to lose anyone else, and the tragic scene of Yin Long's death flashed in his mind again...

Xu Yun wouldn't allow anyone to harm the people he wanted to protect! As Yin Long's smile appeared in his mind, Xu Yun suddenly pushed away the willow tree on top of him and stood up. He could no longer control the demon in his heart, which suddenly erupted!

The Red Scorpion, who had already leaped to the second floor of the medicinal cuisine restaurant, was stunned by the sound from downstairs. He turned around and looked at Xu Yun, who had stood up, with a look of surprise.

Wasn't he dead just now? How could someone without a breath stand up? The Red Scorpion's eyes were filled with disbelief. Impossible, absolutely impossible! He couldn't believe it!

"Red Scorpion, I'll say it again, your opponent is me." Xu Yun's blood-stained lips curled up with a sinister smile, and the cold light in his eyes was like that of a death god, full of chill.

Impossible! The Red Scorpion's pupils suddenly dilated several times, and his figure flashed again, leaping inside the medicinal cuisine restaurant. His palm shape changed, and he extended his fingers into a claw, aiming for Xu Yun's face! The Yin-Yang Pill had greatly increased the Red Scorpion's speed, and he was confident that Xu Yun couldn't possibly dodge this attack!

But things went completely against expectations. The Red Scorpion's full-force claw missed completely, and then he felt an unbearable pain in his chest. Xu Yun had dodged and immediately struck with a powerful punch, hitting the Red Scorpion's chest!

As the Red Scorpion was blasted away, his eyes still showed disbelief. With the power of the Yin-Yang Pill, he had reached the level of a super expert. How could he be hit by a top-notch expert who couldn't even withstand one blow?

"Clang—" The Red Scorpion's body hit the ground heavily, a stream of blood flowing from his mouth.

Impossible! Absolutely impossible! The Red Scorpion's eyes lost their previous dominance, filled with fear. Being hit was already unbelievable, but this punch actually severely injured him, which was even more incomprehensible.
