–Report on the mission to rescue the survivors from the former Raphia territory
By Sage Luxuria, the Second Holy Knight of the Kingdom of Fermina
—5 days before the scheduled start of the mission
Paula Vermilio, a local survivor, has largely completed her flight training.
Although she’s young, she has a promising future and will contribute greatly to the completion of the mission.
Her Royal Highness Princess Christia’s treatment of the residents is also going well and our plans for the operation remain unchanged.
As for Miss Paula’s age, please note that she is a lady, so there’re no questions.
—Three days before the scheduled start of the operation
Returned to Lurain temporarily.
I briefly explained the current situation of Raphia to First Prince Leonhard, who was continuing his patrol on the border and Lefilia Frostline, the commander of Lurain.
Next, I asked for their cooperation in the operation, but they replied that the number of monsters appearing in the area seemed to be on the rise since Lurain’s border survey and they couldn’t afford to reduce the number of personnel who could be of help in the area.
Instead, he promised to provide as much support as possible when he returned home.
I bought as much food as I could carry and decided to return to Raphia.
—The day before the scheduled start of the mission
Final confirmation of the operation was made.
When we move, we’ll form a vertical circle with Hazel Vermilio naturally in the center.
Her Royal Highness Princess Christia will lead from the air above the first two wings and if necessary, she’ll leave the guidance to Miss Paula, who is walking on the ground.
Marie will be in charge of the palace. It’ll be an independent action, but it’s inevitable due to manpower constraints.
We decided to distribute the food we had prepared to the dozens of healthy residents and entrusted them with carrying it.
It’d be quite heavy, but since there were no carriages, they would have to endure it.
There was a suggestion to leave some of the food on the premise that “they’re accustomed to temperance,” but we pushed it through, explaining that it would be lost in battle and other unforeseen circumstances.
