As Li Zhengxi and Kim Taehee walked through the courtyard and just reached the door, Kim Miyeon, who had been looking out because he had been gone for a while, saw Kim Taehee and, after a slight surprise, smiled and greeted her, "Oh, it's Taehee!"

"Hey, Auntie!" Kim Taehee respectfully bowed, and after taking off her shoes, she playfully pinched Li Zhengxi and then ran to Kim Miyeon, hugging her and pouting, "My life is so hard. That brat just casually said he liked the eggplant kimchi my mom makes, and she immediately started preparing it for him and even had someone bring it over..."

The more Kim Taehee spoke, the more annoyed she became, glaring fiercely at Li Zhengxi and pouting, "Auntie, tell me, who is my mom's real child? She has never been this good to me!"

Gao Xiuzhen and Kim Miyeon both laughed, and the latter affectionately patted Kim Taehee's head, "Don't worry, in my eyes, you are much more favored than that brat!"

About half a month ago, when he and his mother returned from the United States, the Kim Taehee family came to Seoul and spent two days together. He had indeed sweetly mentioned that he remembered the eggplant kimchi made by Kim Taehee's mother and said it was the best he had ever tasted.

She hadn't expected her mother to remember it, but of course, he was also a very likable person.

He smiled, feeling unusually warm inside. It was true, only when you lose something do you realize its beauty and learn to cherish it.

After the intimate greetings, they sat down at the table, and Kim Miyeon instinctively asked Kim Taehee, "Taehee, have you eaten yet?"

"No!" Kim Taehee pitifully patted her stomach and glared at Li Zhengxi again.

"Oh, is that so!" Kim Miyeon looked at the nearly finished dishes on the table and hesitated, "But the food is almost gone. How about this, what do you like to eat? I'll call the Chinese restaurant and order something for you!"

"No need, Auntie!" Kim Taehee shook her head and then waved at Li Zhengxi, "Hey, go get me some rice, I'm starving!"

Watching Li Zhengxi turn away helplessly, she rolled her eyes and then bit her lip, laughing lightly, "Oh, and fry me two eggs, the ones you're good at!"

The three women laughed, but Li Zhengxi rolled his eyes in frustration. He loved to eat but was lazy to cook, and his fried eggs always turned out terribly, which was a laughing matter for everyone.

Kim Taehee wasn't usually like this outside; she was very graceful and poised. However, for him, it was only peaceful when they were young. As they grew older, Kim Taehee became very annoyed with him.

It wasn't because his mother was too good to him, but because Li Zhengxi was too smart. Kim Taehee was also very smart, but Li Zhengxi's intelligence was extraordinary, making him a benchmark for all the children in the family.

Especially after Li Zhengxi graduated from university at fifteen, while Kim Taehee, who was two years older, hadn't even finished high school, the psychological imbalance became particularly evident, almost unbearable.

Moreover, Li Zhengxi always acted proud in front of her. Thus, during the past few summers and Christmases, whenever they were together, they would quarrel. Though not as smart, Kim Taehee could be aggressive, a woman's privilege.

Obediently, he served the rice and still fried two terrible eggs. Kim Taehee was chatting animatedly with Kim Miyeon but didn't forget to look at the eggs disdainfully, with a face that said, "You call this fried eggs? How embarrassing."

Then, she deliberately raised her voice, "Auntie, don't believe this brat. He doesn't want to study and wants to be a screenwriter. I think he just wants to play. But that world is full of fame and fortune. If he gets lured in, it will be troublesome!"

She was too smart, hitting right at Kim Miyeon's concerns and secretly targeting Li Zhengxi's weakness. Then, she turned her head and, in a position where Kim Miyeon couldn't see, triumphantly smiled at Li Zhengxi.

This was unbearable. Li Zhengxi wasn't a pushover and immediately countered, "Mom, don't listen to her. She's so stupid, what does she know!"

Seeing her immediately get riled up, he was even more delighted and continued, "I'm just a screenwriter, not a star on stage. There's not much to it, and besides, it's just part of my doctoral thesis research..."

"Hmph, just a screenwriter, that's just the beginning. Slowly, you'll get addicted and corrupted..." Kim Taehee actually knew nothing about that world. She would be discovered by an advertising director in the subway in two months and then start her entertainment career.

But she just wanted to oppose Li Zhengxi and make him miserable, at least making him surrender to her.

But Li Zhengxi wasn't that easy to deal with. He smiled slightly and provocatively looked at Kim Taehee, "You act like you know a lot about the entertainment industry. Are you a big star or have you worked in it...?"

Kim Taehee was speechless, gritting her teeth, and was about to be aggressive again when Kim Miyeon scolded Li Zhengxi, "That's enough, stop it." She paused and then said to Li Zhengxi, "You said Donggu is your agent, right? I'll tell him to keep an eye on you!"

Before Kim Taehee arrived, she had already made up her mind. Now, although Kim Taehee's words made some sense, she still decided to let Li Zhengxi experience the complexities of society on his own.

But Kim Taehee was very annoyed, especially seeing the smug smile on Li Zhengxi's face. She quickly thought and then pulled Kim Miyeon's hand, "Auntie, since Donggu is an agent, he must be busy with his artists. How about this, I'll keep an eye on him. I'm on winter break anyway..."

Generally, the winter break at Seoul National University runs from December 23 to March 2, a long time, sometimes starting earlier or later depending on the final exams.

Kim Miyeon looked at her in surprise, then glanced at Li Zhengxi, and smiled, "Sure, that would be great," not waiting for Li Zhengxi to object, she added, "Keep a good eye on him, don't be shy!"

"Yay!" Kim Taehee was overjoyed, as if she had gained some advantage, and triumphantly taunted Li Zhengxi, who was thoroughly frustrated. More importantly, he faced the risk of his secret being exposed.

The three women chatted enthusiastically, and Li Zhengxi, occasionally taunted by Kim Taehee, helplessly retreated, saying, "You chat," and turned back to his room.

Just as he opened the door, he was stunned. There was another female demon inside, and she seemed even more ferocious than Kim Taehee.

"How does it look?" Alice, who had appeared in the room at some point, was wearing a bright red off-shoulder floor-length dress, with a light blue sash tied around her waist, making her chest appear even more prominent and her waist even slimmer.

Then she turned around gracefully in front of him, her eyes filled with affection, truly seductive.

So, unable to win in the game, you're planning to use a beauty trap? Li Zhengxi laughed inwardly but pouted, seemingly casual, "Just a pretty face. Who knows if you'll turn into a demon or a monster!"

"What do you mean 'turn'?" Alice pouted, "I told you, I'm not a ghost or a monster, I'm just like this!"

"Is that so?" Li Zhengxi didn't believe it, his tone full of doubt and even mockery, "Then tell me, what is a demon? It's not an angel, right?"

Giggling, Alice laughed somewhat wildly, but her laughter also carried a hint of mockery, "An angel? Have you seen one? Maybe I'm even purer and more beautiful than an angel!"

Li Zhengxi was defeated. He had indeed never seen an angel, but he was too lazy to argue further. He sat down in a chair and turned on the computer.

"Yub-gi" in Korean means extreme or unique. At the end of last year, this word suddenly swept through the younger generation, becoming a popular trend. On Naver, the largest search engine in Korea, it consistently topped the charts, and forums on Naver and Yahoo Korea had long set up dedicated sections for it.

But Li Zhengxi hadn't initially felt the impact. His interest in this matter stemmed from accidentally clicking on the page of the movie "My Sassy Girl" a few days ago, and a light bulb went off in his head.

He had specifically searched through Korean BBSs of all sizes but couldn't find the short story about a sassy girlfriend that he remembered. It was very popular, and if it existed, he should have found it. Thus, it probably hadn't appeared yet.

Therefore, he had a small idea, planning to take the initiative. After all, he was now being held hostage by Alice and the game, always at risk of losing his life. He had to find ways to earn achievement points.

So, these past few days, he had been brainstorming. When the sassy Kim Taehee showed up today, his inspiration flowed like a fountain. Besides the plot from the movie in his memory, he also recalled many of Kim Taehee's sassy deeds.

"My Sassy Girl," Li Zhengxi opened a new thread in the "Yub-gi" section of the Naver forum, naturally using this familiar name for the title.

Alice, who had been quietly watching him open the computer and thinking of mischief, suddenly frowned when she saw the title and exclaimed, "What are you doing?"

"What am I doing?" Li Zhengxi pretended to be surprised, then chuckled, "Well, I saw the synopsis of 'My Sassy Girl' a few days ago, and my cousin just provided me with material. If I write a novel, combining some of the storylines from 'My Sassy Girl' with some of my cousin's deeds, don't you think they might give me some royalties if they make a movie out of it?"

Alice was stunned. This was the very reason "My Sassy Girl" appeared, but the original author wouldn't start writing for another three months. Now, this brat had beaten him to it.

She never expected him to do this, and she certainly didn't know that Li Zhengxi was a reincarnated person, and most importantly, there was nothing wrong with what he was doing.

"Shameless!" Alice glared at Li Zhengxi, hating him, but could only weakly condemn him, "This is shameless plagiarism, a despicable act without any integrity."

"Thanks for the compliment," this time, Li Zhengxi ignored her condemnation and smiled broadly, "With your urgent defense, I feel my copyright is secure!"

Hmph! Alice glared at him helplessly, but had no way to stop him. Perhaps from the beginning, this guy had already slipped out of her control.
