“Everyone bear me witness. I’m not afraid of their power and influence!” The woman shouted in anger.

While Chu Ci was lost in thought, she heard a cold, conceited voice.

“Don’t just jump to conclusions. From the autopsy on the deceased, our hospital found a large number of unhealed bruises caused by a fall from the roof. According to the 120 call made, the residents said the fall had happened about three hours without any rescue measures; that was when they called the rescue team. We’re in the process of requesting a retrieval of the surveillance of the ambulance arriving at the hospital at the time, do you want to take a look?”

Chu Ci raised her eyes and saw a man slowly raised his hand slightly to the bridge of his nose and pushed up a gold wire glasses, the other hand holding a dark blue folder, slightly bent forward, a cold eye, thin lips opened and closed in between his dark white teeth could be seen, as if flashing cold light.

Seeing their expression, Lu Jin gave a low laugh, glancing at the pale little girl standing next to him in her hospital gown, ” Causing trouble in the hospital, child abuse, even if it is your own children, the penalty is clear, why don’t we then see who is right and who is wrong?”

The voice was slightly lower, carrying a bit of danger, and his narrow phoenix eyes were filled with coldness, clearly impatient to the extreme.

“I don’t care, you’re the ones who harmed our child, and you still ask us for medical fees, impossible!”

The somewhat fierce-looking man had a hint of panic in his eyes but still said viciously, stepped forward and tugged at the woman’s hand, “Let’s go home.”

He raised his hand and shook his folder slightly, with no emotion in his eyes.

But Chu Ci nodded seriously, “I want to apologize to her, even though I didn’t affect her recuse much, I still obstructed the ambulance and caused trouble for the hospital and you.”

Did she take the wrong medication today?

Lu Jin raised his eyebrows and suddenly lowered his head, his narrow, cold-lighted phoenix eyes looked into Chu Ci’s eyes with a searching look.

The two of them leaned a little closer at once, Chu Ci seemed to be a bit frightened, her breathing quickened for a moment, and that warm, soft breath brushed his cheek.

This made Lu Jin’s dark eyes darken slightly, he then straightened up and handed the folder in his hands to Chu Ci.

Then casually took a step backwards, putting distance between them.

Of course, Chu porcelain noticed this action of Lu Jin, pursed the corners of her lips slightly, and flipped the folder open.

Looking at the shocking examination report inside, the little girl named San Bao, no more than twelve or thirteen years old, had suffered many injuries before she fell from the roof.
